First salvo in the Great Game between HISC and Kim's KruZherS for global dominance - cracker cutie Warren attempting to extend corporate hegemony all the way to 139; Heigl hoping to bar the door to set up counterattack south of 130. "Beating Landry was a huge breakthrough for me," says ambitious Katherine, "I actually see Warren as kind of a soft first defense in comparison. She's got range and she'll try to use it on me, but I've got all the answers. I'll get the heart punch on her - once that starts taking effect she'll draw her paws in, I'll collapse distance on her and it'll be chocolate from there." Warren equally confident, hasn't quite bought into the whole Heigl-as-champion motif. "Katherine's a journeywoman joke, a total ham and egger," sneers the former champ. "Ali had the worst night in a boxing ring I've ever seen from her and Katherine nipped her for the belts, but come ON. Katherine Heigl isn't even a top 10 welter, let alone numero uno. I'll beat this girl badly, humble her, break her and stop her WELL inside the distance to establish an unbroken line of HISC champions from the ground up. Get ready to conga fellahs - I'm going to party it up on Katherine Heigl!" Heigl in pea green bikini, messy ponytail, Estella in tan suede bikini, western fringe.

Rd 1: Warren long on the outside, showing off that whiplash jab, but Heigl negotiating it with poise, patience. Katherine bending at the waist, weaving stick, bobbing close and POUNDING right hands underneath it, thumping Warren's heart as promised. Estella on her heels, eyes a-popping at the concussive effect on the ol' pump - she doesn't like those sledgehammer blows down there. By the final minute, girls are more or less toe to toe - Estella dukes up, blocking shots on her elbows, hacking back onto Katherine's jaw a chopping right. Heigl bobbing, slugging brisk out of the crouch, working either side of the Warren waist.

Rd 2: Step and shoot - girls rotating slowly mid-ring, no clinching, just bang-bang back and forth. Warren bent forward, guard forward, dukes up, she's giving away her height but blocking well, answering immediately with bone-jarring force. Warren getting a consistent right hand chop onto Heigl's jaw. Warren also getting a rigid, stabbing left amidships - dipping her left shoulder, drawing the elbow back, shoving home the punch to the solar plexus. Heigl dukes up, bending forward then leaning back to change up distance, hack-hacking at the hips and waist with clouting right/lefts, swatting Warren's ear the hook then digging it more firmly behind the elbow. Spirited stuff - girls ringing each other up, both taking a very good shot through 2.

Rd 3: Warren whittling away - she's punching tight out of that guard, starting to get to Heigl with cracking connects. Katherine just can't get out of the way of Estella's chopping little right - Canuck getting the punch over and over again, starting her sequences with it - it's paving the way for raking hooks and left uppercuts. By the halfway point, Heigl's shopworn - not reacting well, getting labelled - Warren lights her up a clanging chop-right hand on the cheek, dips and rips the left uppercut, then clips a tidy left hook across the teeth as HEIGL GOES DOWN! Kath just eating too many flush shots, takes a seat all teary-eyed, scrambling up hurt at 8. ON COMES WARREN! Estella with a grim smile, riding her guard up to press Heigl into the ropes, then dropping the right foot back for leverage - free-swinging lefts and chopping, short rights as Warren slices away head and body on a swooning Heigl. Kathy wobbly butt, slugging back instead of clinching, getting SHELLACKED! Down the stretch, Heigl bends in and down with a grazing right, comes out of the crouch with a greasy hook and BEATS WARREN TO THE PUNCH! Estella leaning away from the initial right, trying her own hook but she is CLOCKED, head swivelling violently, legs giving way - she clatters back half a dozen steps and SKIDS TO HER BACK! It's OVER! Estella Warren a foggy, mumbling wreck on her back, she can't beat the count - Katherine Heigl cleans up KO3!

After: Heigl proving she's for real, turning back a legit hard woman at 130 with a crunching one punch KO. "I mopped her up with this," says a grinning, lumped up champ in postfight, holding up her left, "but I shook her up with this," displaying the right. "I told you - once I softened her up with right hands under the heart, she would be all mine. Honestly, I thought she'd take more - Estella's looking awfully chinny to me these days." Crunching KO brings a halt to HISC advance - now it's their turn to brace for the KruZher onslaught. Malevolent Janet Jones stands in between Heigl on her right, Theron on her left, arms carefree over their broad shoulders, other KruZherS in the background: "That's it, they shot their wad," grins JJG, "now it's OUR turn. We're just going to roll these girls up, take down that HISC empire and leave it in ruins. In our time, we've humbled Technetium head to head, we've conquered TE - now HISC will have to learn what it's like to take on the focused might of the KruZherS!"
