BEFORE: Scherzinger lighting it up on DWTS - fighting Bynes a great way to keep up the momentum. "Amanda's young blonde Hollywood," Nicole breezes in prefight, "perfect for me to thrash on national TV! I'm the hottest thing in America right now: people need to see me taking apart the competition!" Bynes non-plussed, unconvinced in rebuttal. "Nicole's an amazing dancer, and a beautiful exotic," Amanda admits, "but her fighting's always been suspect. This is a great chance for me to get noticed: putting a girl like Nicole in my back pocket is priceless!" Nicole in black bikini with silver connections; hair in long, sleek DWTS ponytail; white gloves. Amanda in bubblegum pink bikini; white gloves; hair long, loose, straight. Venue: ring set up on the DWTS stage for special prime-time episode.

During R1: Nicole misjudging Amanda's length, speed: blonde gets to her brunette. Bynes in wide-spread, forward aspect - weight on left leg as she pumps jabs, or leads the odd straight right hand. Niki trying to lean back out of the way, but getting startled: Amanda's limber, gliding licks deceptively quick. Amanda routinely driving Nicole to ropes; Scherzinger with nifty moves to spin out - including reaching her left hand in behind Amanda's left tricep, pulling her forward while spinning her clockwise: Niki stays off the ropes. Round to Bynes: Nicole visibly frustrated.

R2: More of the same - Amanda frisky, quick, long-limbed, and better schooled than Scherzinger had anticipated. Nicole constantly getting spooked by sliding right crosses; startled by jabs on her face: Amanda all lean and sleek - scoring from a distance. Niki continues to prove hard to pin ropeside - tugging Amanda's left arm and spinning her: ref warning Scherzinger - even as she's stepping behind him to buy a little space to regroup! Amanda's round: Scherzinger still finding her range/legs through 2.

R3: Niki gets her act together: starts touching Amanda tart. Scherzinger in springy, wide-spread stance - left hand featured as right hovers near her mouth. Nicole up-jabbing from her hip, sidestepping left. Nicole cuff-cuff-cuffing triple-hooks, then pivoting-left around her left foot: slapping licks perhaps, but sheer snappiness has Amanda baffled. Midway through, Nicole jots one-two up top...dips left shoulder...rips hesitation left uppercut to chin and BLONDE GIRL DOWN! Amanda picked up stiff, dropped to her buns in shock - long tan legs oustretched in numb V. Bynes beats the count, but she's quickly trapped on ropes: Nicole bares her teeth, lets hands go to lick/lash/bat at tan blonde flanks to bell.

R4: Nicole sinuous in her stance - bobbing at the waist; legging freely to either side, or backwards as need be. Amanda grimly determined to press forward, but frequently spun around as Niki reaches in her left to secure Amanda's left tricep: brunette wrapping up with both arms around Amanda's left arm to turn her about. More toe-to-toe exchanges as Niki gets comfortable with her foe: Scherzinger bobbing on the spot, licking/snatching back snapping left hands to Bynes' ribs/waist/breasts. Amanda not shut out - unleashing lanky right/lefts across Nicole's flawless waist - but Scherzinger better able to tighten up stroke when girls're close. Round ends to the sight of Amanda showing earmuff off the ropes, grimacing as Scherzinger's lashing sinewy right/lefts tummy and flanks. Bell: Niki whirls on her heel, drawing that silky black ponytail across Amanda's pinched face; crowd roaring as Scherzinger shows ballroom strut back to her corner!

R5: Amanda driving Nicole before her: Scherzinger willing to give ground, turn at the ropes, just to draw Bynes out. By the minute mark, Nicole's firing back: sneaky up-jabs off the hip; springy lead right hands off the shoulder; constant snappy stream of double & triple left hooks. Amanda really starting to feel the bite of Niki's left hooks: body and head both there for brunette as Nicole scores, pivots-left all supple. Down the stretch, slinky Nicole has her timing perfect: Amanda throws a right, takes a right on her mouth while missing over Niki's right shoulder; Amanda throws a jab, missing as Nicole pulls back on her hips, then slices the right hand receipt onto Bynes' mouth.

R6: Punishment for Amanda Bynes: Nicole starts to separate herself. Rotating clockwise, Niki just working those hooks - sometimes cuff-cuffing with little slaps; other times really turning the thing over and bracing Amanda's chin. On the body, Nicole finding a vicious left uppercut to sternum that has Bynes crying out; Niki wide eyed as she delivers withering buggy-whip rights in above Amanda's left hip. Midway through, succulent, supple right-uppercut-off-the-right-leg, left-uppercut-off-the-left-leg clip-claps Amanda's chin, buzzing her legs: blonde sits out of it in amazement, lips parted in shock. Round finishes up with demoralized young blonde sitting in ropes, soaking up lather: sinewy Scherzinger all legs, buns, and back as she licks and straps home sleek round-punches and uppercuts. Gouging, palm-down rights carved in behind Amanda's left elbow not doing her ribs any good at all: Niki's eyes dancing darkly as Amanda hugs herself in pain after the bell.

R7: On her toes, Niki stuns Amanda a straight-punching palm-down left/right/left/right sequence: each punch pounding flat off the face, knocking Bynes' knees together. Amanda sputtering, stepping in fence post holes: laughing Nicole whirls on the spot, administers ponylash DURING a round for the first time ever in a televised FCBA bout. Bynes swooning, pushing out feeble punches as Niki retreats, luring her blonde forward: wide, whippy left clouts Bynes' right ear as Nicole sidesteps left, pitching Amanda face-first into ropes. Nicole curls back in, dabbing a lead right hand against Amanda's breasts, then picking up chin via left uppercut off left leg. Bynes sprawls against ropes, eyelashes fluttering, limbs loosened. Niki swings a hooking, palm-down right across, clipping Amanda's chin; follows up a supple left hook while shifting weight to right (back) leg; picks Amanda up the right uppercut off right leg as Bynes is wilting forward. Lights out Amanda Bynes: chin-clipped, she continues on forward, pitching face first to canvas, nosing in at Nicole's feet. Pretty smile Scherzinger: she starts whirling and whirling on the spot - ponytail out straight from her head, arms out to the side in celebration of KO7.

After: Nicole shakes off a nervous start to overhaul and dismantle her young foe as promised: Scherzinger never prettier in a boxing ring. "She was awkward, hard to read early," Nicole explains, "but she couldn't really land anything on me. If you haven't noticed, I'm very bendy: girls can't really find me in the ring, even when I'm standing right in front of them!"
