Before: Co-conquerors of Hatcher square off--acknowledged big step up for Team Knightley--Jolie by far the most dangerous opponent Keira’s ever faced in the ring. “I’m excited,” chirps Keira in prefight,” Jolie’s one of the best fighters out there and I’m anxious to see how I stack up. I handled Teri and I know I’ll compete with Angelina--people are definitely going to have their eyes opened!” Jolie smiling cat-like throughout, staring at the youthful beauty’s flawless complexion. “I’m mentally placing the cuts,” Jolie explains while staring across the podium, bringing the room down a few degrees. Julie in black Tomb Raider sporty bikini, black shoes, Keira with highlighted hair, nautical sport top, laced up the front, neon pale blue boy cut trunks also laced, white shoes.

During r1; Girls slink to mid ring, both supple, flat footed, loose in the torso, Both have a pretty way of extending hands to tap-touch at each other, turning on the occasional whip-look or slinging right--both showing good upper body reflexes to slip and lean out the way. Jolie southpaw, pawing righty jabs--Keira circling her hands, feather-dusting jabs to the body, stepping left. End of Min. 1, Keira jabbing at the body, slaps Jolie’s face an insolent right, then turns a sleek hook over before Angi can haul the left in and JOLIE SCOOTS TO HER BUTT! Angelina up immediately, chin-clipped and red-faced, pushing against the ref who holds her back to administer the 8--the shame! Keira skipping to the neutral corner all smiles--LOVING it! ON COMES KNIGHTLEY! Jolie rattled, doesn’t quite have her feet and sinks back into the ropes as Knightley unleashes a supple stroking of lefts and rights. Keira keeping distance, not falling in--rights to the pit of the paunch. Final minute--Keira’s taking liberties! Knightley pushing up on Jolie, bracing her against the ropes, then licking lanky at her stomach and ribs, turning on saucy swats across the tits at the bell. Jolie fuming back at her corner, dropped, shutout and embarrassed--youngster storming out of the gate for the second fight in a row.

R2: Jolie much sharper this round--hand sup, hopping aggressively forward and putting her jab to good use as Keira gives ground. Angelina cutting off the ring, turning on looping, slow left hands to get Keira committed, then snap-hooking righty with a vicious grooving action--Knightley bailing out as hard punches graze her head, spank off her guard or shoulder. Jolie paying Keira back in the belly and ribs a licking right hook, or stepping in a swinging, limber left square on the belly--Keira sinking into the ropes, covering up under pressure late. Jolie squaring away.l body tilted to the right as she paws lefts to set up cranking, blistering right hooks--Keira getting caught hard body and head--she’s hurt and woozy at the bell.

R3: Jolie the boss, menacing Keira, grinning malevolently, prowling forward and edging the youngster to the corner. Keira jabbing, but Jolie countering with slinging power lefts on the mouth and putting the hook on top--Knightley paying for any offense as Angelina counters with cold ferocity. Midway through, Jolie hands down, leaning in and ouyt, gets Keira reaching and wallops a looping left flat upside the head, draping Knightley hurt in the ropes, Jolie squaring up that gentle crossed arm stance, poking the left to set up snatching hooks, but Keira’s cowboying up. Knightley slugging back off the ropes, slapping away on Jolie’s face even as Angeline tries to dig in--good two way trade at the bell as Keira proves a warrior.

R4: No respect from Angelina at this point, prowling the ring with left hand at her chest, right hand down, stomp-feinting in then easing out, decoying with easy rights or lefts, settling down on the opposite hand, touching Keira up and down. Knightley being pressed around the ring, face intent, but no panic--she’s staying poised, trying to think and fight her way out of the traps. Midway through--Jolie with razzle-dazzle of long, pawing lefts and rights cashes in a sweeping left clout on the jaw that jerks Keira a quarter turn to her left--Knightley wobbly but to the ropes and badly shook. Jolie striding in and burying a swinging left to the body, straightening to clout Keira a tight right across the face--young Brit’s legs give a quake, but once again she firms up. Spirited trade as Keira slaps and licks supple side to side punches--Jolie shaking off leather to try and line the kid up for just one more big shot at the bell.

R5: Patient battle of skills and wills develops in the mid round--Angelina in charge, dictating terms, but unable to impose complete domination on the elusive Knightley. Keira nimble out of the corners, spinning off the ropes, opening up the canvas--she’s forcing Jolie to track her down and box at long range. Angeline hooking supple off the jab, leaning on the front foot to touch Keira in the ribs and flanks, leaning onto the back foot to lure Knightley into slick right hooks on the chin. Low connect percentage for both women--Keira showing precocious talent, class, but corner reminds her she can’t win if she doesn’t put something on Jolie.

R6: Angelina looking to hurt Keira with every shot, loading up bit--gives Keira the chance to potshot and use her legs very effectively this round. Knightley with a pretty way of getting to Angelina’s body--flailing the up jab, bending her knees to crouch in and rip-dog right/left to that flat stomach, jabbing face again as she slides back out safe, dragging the front foot so she’s in position to clip Jolie a check-hook if it’s there. Doesn’t look to be hurting Angelina, but Keira with a knack for catching her opponent stepping, keeping her from getting off--Knightley takes the heat as Jolie does more stalking than punching.

R7: Similar stuff--moments for both women, but Angelina going back to a variety of jab-looks does a better job of cutting off the ring, occasionally slinging in a slicing left or snapping off that rubber band hook. Knightley doing a good job of keeping her back off the ropes, hopping and bouncing around the perimeter==pushing back tapping punches while surviving. Jolie’s round.

R8: Jolie steps up the heat, using fitness and athleticism as weapons now to press the pace. Keira against the ropes again, getting raked that licking eight hook and Jolie’s dialing in the left cross between Keira’s mitts. Angelina swaying in and out on wide spread legs, bringing her hands off her thighs and really laying in hard chops on the ears of the young blonde--Keira starting to flounder, stagger under the clocking impacts, Down the stretch, Keira stooping forward off the ropes, hands at her temples and jolie rips a slashing right hook under the breast line, cramping Knightley up BAD! Jolie pouncing immediately at the sight of Keira’s trembling legs--swinging left up underneath, right hook on the ear, hook on the ear--KNIGHTLEY SPILLS RIGHT TO THE CORNER! Keira glassy-eyed, undone--Jolie unleashes a slinging barrage of lanky lefts and rights, pounding her fists in looping arcs off Keira’s face at the bell. Jolie chesting up at the break, sniffing at the hurt--Knightley all shabby, feeling the weight as the ref step in.

R9: Angelina’s coming for Keira now--kid’s legs are gone, she’s ragged around the ring, pushing out don’t-hurt-me leather as Jolie walks her down. Angie with that sleek, slinging delivery, bending into shots, pulling power punches off her thighs, hopping into wide lopping blows--flashy stuff  and Keira’s getting clobbered. Midway through, Jolie stacking Keira up at the ropes and going mercilessly to the body with dip and rip lanky uppercuts--lefts and rights, thick to the midsection, Jolie drawing her elbows back and really sinking these babies in. Knightley hanging tough, using her elbow to nudge and get little chipping counter shots in--girls come off the body with hooks and JOLIE GOES DOWN! Clanging, supple shot greases Jolie’s chin and puts her on her butt in shock--Keira all fiery eyed as she looms over top, pushed back by the ref. Jolie takes her 8 and storms across the ring, too angry. Angeline head hunting in the last minute--Keira doing a nice job of  ducking and slipping, sidestepping Jolie with pretty pushes on the hips and elbows to make it out of the round.

R10: Keira with a few pre-emptive right hands, bending into home run swings and stumbling away as Jolie slips under--Angelina cautious not to get caught again, takes her time imposing order behind her supple stick and relentless footwork, Second minute--Jolie slapping her right hand, fixed Keira in place and turns on a swinging left to jaw--Knightley spun sideways hit’s the ropes in disarray, knees bending, straightening, torso tilting forward--she’s ready to go. Jolie setting herself in that Too-Sharp Johnson crossed arm stance, slinging side to side power lefts and rights, just trying to time Keira for the kill shot as Knightley turns her shoulders and rolls the work. Crowd screaming every time Jolie busts Keira upside the head--blonde blocking weakly, bending at the waist, getting wailed, but she guts this thing out to the bell. Hard look of hate from Angelina returned with woozy defiance from Knightley--comes back UD10 Jolie.

After: Jolie wide on the cards, but disgusted at herself--she lumped up on Keira’s beautiful gave but failed to bust her open as intended. Keira showed the Hatcher bout was no fluke--she boxed well, especially defensively, showed courage and a stubborn streak when hurt and stood up to the best Jolie could offer. There’s tension here--Jolie down twice and scuffed up--insufferable treatment from an ingénue upstart like Keira. Angelina clearly the better, stronger fighter at this point, but it’s a good learning experience for Keira who looks like she’s only going to get better and who knows? Down the road there might be a reckoning.
