Before: "You see this match up in clubs all over LA," an upbeat, eager Yustman says in prefight. "Some chunky blonde with like a 20 pound weight advantage fronts on a sleek, bendy brunette and tries to frighten her off...but it's the blonde who goes home in tears, holding her face. To me, Brittany D is a muscle bound has-been who's very lucky we aren't kicking and using submissions as well as boxing - because I'd embarrass her. Oh, and while I'm kicking a little HMK butt here, I'd just like to say I'm very disappointed in Carmella for giving up her pursuit of Brittany. It looks bad - kind of like Decesare didn't have the heart for that match up. Guess it's up to me to do what Carmella couldn't!" Daniel's mouth laughing, but eyes smouldering at sleek brunette cheek. "First - if you're actually suggesting taking this thing into MMA after I tune you up boxing - just tell me when and were," Brittany chortles, joined by knowing audience. "Second...who are you again? I've been beating girls up professionally - not in bar catfights, but for prize money - for ten years. Did they tell you this wasn't a pro pillow fight? You do know what you're getting into, right? It's just...hearing you talk - it's like you have no clue how much hurt you're heading for." Odette in white cotton tank and panties; small white gloves; brown hair loose. Brittany in pale, pale blue cotton cami top cut above hips; white cotton panties; small white gloves with navy blue palms; shoulder length blonde locks in loose tangle. HANDICAPPER'S NOTE: Daniel makes 120 bone dry - she'll re-inflate come fight-nite.

During R1: Odette touches Brittany jabs early - blonde bounces out of range, sensing class. Yustman's right (back) heel high off canvas - nice springy ooise: she wants Daniel on the end of poke. Odette with a stiff, rapid two-jab while pivoting to her left: Brittany knocking the blows out of the air, but not trying to penetrate yet. Midway through - Yustman's able to lean in, chip a long, graceful right hand off Brittany's chin: blonde withdraws again, scowling from the sneakiness of the shot rather than it's heft. Wide ranging circles as Daniel makes reads, takes no risks: Odette able to box smartly for points, never rushed or disorganized by cautious blonde.

R2: Good spitting jabs, pretty pivoting lateral movement from Odette: she's lithe, quick, sudden in her punching. Daniel no longer withdrawing; she's comfortable parrying brunette stick, staying in the pocket, looking to shoot back quick right hands off the shoulder. Yustman also deploying sliding, smooth rights - often starting Brittany to chin if not hurting her: blonde not reading supple brunette's right hand well yet. Daniel with weight on right (back) foot, waiting on Odette, then looking to swipe her a hook off thigh, or that sneaky chop-right hand counter: Daniel touching Odette the odd time - nothing serious. Second round for Yustman as Brittany steps briskly to her corner, nodding as though to say "Yep - I know what I need to do here."

R3: Daniel more aggressive - doubling up a spitting jab to Yustman's chest, looking to close and work. Odette drifting back - agile, supple as she lopes out of range, then circles to renegotiate. Odette walking Brittany into oily-smooth left/right/left combos - the punches straight, the contact scrubbing against Brittany's face as blonde moves forward. Daniel walking right through the buffing, landing her first serious hooks and right hands to Odette's slender ribcage. Yustman legging out rather than joining Brittany inside for any length of time: brunette showing good situational awareness with stronger blonde.

R4: Similar stuff: Daniel encroaching - using her jab to gain entry, then trying to out-throw Odette at close range. Yustman legging to either side, pumping out the jab at full length - extending on long right hands; occasionally hopping in on left leg to turn over lanky hooks up top. Brittany moving her head and parrying, but she's basically unconcerned: she's bigger, stronger, and she's acting the part - pushing in and getting off to work Yustman's svelte torso with increasing effect.

R5: Yustman spitting jabs, moving left, then leaning in to catch Brittany a gorgeous right cross: smooth, sleek shot finally gets Daniel's attention, sending jolt through tanned blonde quads. Brit covers up hastily: Odette leans in on front (left) leg to tuck a pair of small glove hooks PIK! PAK! into Brittany's ribs. Smooth legging to the side, smooth punching at range: Odette takes back the initiative, fights the round on her terms as Daniel hangs back, taking a moment to find her legs.

R6: Yustman punching with lissome authority - leaning in, drifting right hands - even exchanging lefts and rights in flurries with Daniel. Brittany resuming her pressure-attack; sinewy blonde legs cutting off the ring, forcing Odette to perimeter. Daniel snatching sharp, snappy lefts and rights off the Yustman torso - ringing blows in the lats, breasts, ribs and waist have Odette wincing, bounding away. Brittany retakes initiative, starting to break down Odette's stance as brunette's forced to scramble.

R7: Thorough pressure from Daniel chases Yustman round the ring for two minutes - only to see Odette turn the tables with sneaky power late. Right cross snakes in, shakes Brittany up a bit: follow-on flurry bats blonde ears, cuffs her off balance as she shows peek-a-boo guard. Odette in wide spread, springy stance - pivoting round, leaning in and out - jabbing Brittany upstairs and down. Brittany on apron, hands at temples, looking indecisve: Odette salts away the round with a lashing pair of buggywhip right hands, taking Brit above left hip with a 3/4 sidearm delivery. Bright smile Odette at bell: she steals a round, could be stealing the fight from heavy favourite through 7.

R8: Effective pressure again applied by Brittany - this time with no mental lapses. Odette on the run, essentially forfeiting the round rather than trying to hurt Brit for respect. Daniel still unable to put Odette ropeside for decisive shove-n'-slug: blonde finding her willowy brunette foe very elusive through 8.

R9: Brittany in hot pursuit - scoot-stepping to her left as Odette's loping counterclockwise. Brunette stops, fakes a punch to halt Brit's pursuit; pivots right; leans in and catches Brittany a perfectly timed diamond-cutting right hand as Daniel's opening up herself. BRITTANY GOES DOWN! Daniel's own right hand sails - brawny legs fail - she stumbles to hands and knees - face briefly touching canvas before she sorts herself out. Daniel in shock - mouthpiece half out of her mouth - she's trembling terribly, trying to force herself up. Brit beats count, swooning at ropes, ref checking her eyes: he'll let it go. Odette quickly scampering in: quick shoe-shine to Brittany's breasts, then it's a lashing, lathering beat down as brunette settles into wide, slugging stance. Slender-limbed wallop - lots of slaps - but Odette hustling the leather onto a slumped and stunned Brittany. THE REF STEPS IN! Good lord - TKO9 in astonishing fashion - slender Odette Yustman!

After: All that brazen trash talking makes good: sleek Odette steps to brawny Brittany and slaps big bad veteran out on her feet! Daniel in swoon, blubbering in denial: she simply can't accept the verdict tonight. "Like I said," Odette glows in postfight. "Chunky blondes get sent home in tears: sleek brunettes take whatever they want. Everyone said she was too strong, but you know what? I think strength is really only good for pillow fights. Ask Brittany - she knows about those."
