Before: Brandy a bit of a shadowy figure - thought to be in retirement, but occasionally surfacing now and then in a variety of venues. Once a formidable figure in the boxing ring, it's hard to say how much remains of Brandy's fearsome fighting talents. "She's been in and out of a number of gyms," reports BLONDE! Magazine. "She's reportedly very sharp, still offering top-shelf sparring to girls. If she's on form, obviously she can give Kilcher a fight. That's a pretty big if at this point." Kilcher in white sheepskin bikini with laced up front; white sheepskin boxing knee-boots; white gloves with faux-fur trimmed cuffs. Brandy in similar togs, tan-coloured, with black gloves.

During R1: Jewel showing her strength, hooking off the jab and moving Brandy with the stroke. Ledford eyes narrowed - circling to her left to move away from Kilcher's thumping hook as a result. Brandy getting poked up the middle as Jewel steps in stern left jabs: Ledford a little rusty, unable to pull the trigger early. Down the stretch, Ledford looks to pre-empt Jewel with shoe-shining combinations: Kilcher closing up her guard, lets Brandy scrub away to no effect. Bell to bell Jewel: Ledford finding her boxing legs after long layoff.

R2: Ledford issuing jabs, stepping to her left: she's starting to sort Jewel out. Kilcher forward behind a sturdy high guard, right hand cupping her temple, left at her mouth - elbows in. Brandy timing Jewel a minute in: Kilcher tries a right hand, eats an immediate right in trade, then staggers under the weight of Brandy's hook to jug. Ledford quickly to the offensive, digging at jug with both hands hup-hup-hup: fists sounding out with muted thumps against Kilcher's sturdy laced up sheepskin top. Jewel beaten onto her heels, backs into ropes, lips parting. Swinging right takes Jewel to tummy; left uppercut/left hook to chin combo - Brandy still has those quick mitts in combination. Ledford ducks under Jewel receipts; hooks her way back into Jewel's waist, then polishes those jugs another brace of swishing rights and lefts. More ducking from Ledford, then effective countering: Jewel really getting lit up at ropes. Wobbly butt - Jewel ties up, earning ref's break: Brandy bouncing in the grasp, puts a cheap left shoulder into Jewel's mouth on the break. Resume - Brandy attacking with purpose - reaching in with tummy-jabs, backing Jewel to ropes again, then squaring up on her. Fierce bombardment harms Jewel: she's butt-in-ropes, grimacing in peek-a-boo guard as Brandy licks away sharp, clipping, swiping combinations. Bell: Brandy celebrates good round with a clouting hook to defenceless Jewel-jug - prompting bleat of protest from Ms. Kilcher.

R3: Trade in right hands, trade in lefts: Brandy in the pocket, beating Jewel to chin-punches. Jewel rocked, steps out blinking: Brandy hops in a heavy palm-down hook, swiveling Jewel's head and SITTING HER DOWN! Kilcher sitting up with back to ropes, eyes wide in stupor - elbows back in ropes: she's ALL shook up. Wobbly 8, Jewel: ON COMES BRANDY! Ledford quickly atop Jewel with a scrub of slapping lefts and rights intended to get Kilcher covering up; payoff punch is a vicious left hook delivered with venom in behind Kilcher's right elbow. Cry of pain, Jewel - right knee jerking up slightly as Ledford does damage. Brandy tilts to her right, looking over Jewel's left flank; bounces right hand off Kilcher's hip. Brandy tilts to her left, left hand gently pushing Jewel's head aside before burying another gorgeous hook into Jewel's liver. Weight still on left (front) foot, Brandy pumps a pair of short, chugging left uppercuts to jug: Jewel grunting as she stoops over, soaking 'em up. HARD, SHORT right uppercut as Brandy shifts weight to right foot - Jewel's face picked up groggy off her mitts: Kilcher's hurrrrt. Digging right to the midsection, Brandy to Jewel: Ledford leaning in close, chin over-topping Jewel's head as punch rams home. Pair of short, clipping hooks takes Jewel above right hip - she's cringing, going to her knees. Brandy manages a cheap left hand across vulnerable kidney before Kilcher hits all fours - smoldering Ledford pushed back as Jewel shudders in pain. Ledford tilting her head side to side, loosening her neck en-route to neutral corner. Kilcher's up at 10, but ref doesn't like what he sees: official waves this thing off, hugging a stunned Jewel to ropes. TKO3 Brandy Ledford!

AFTER: Krusher corner condemning the quick stoppage: Jewel's been on the receiving end of worse and endured in the past - just too weak and wobbly this time to get past the concerned official. "Impressive performance for Ledford," BLONDE! Mag scribes conclude. "Jewel's no joke at 120 - for Brandy to rush her out of there speaks volumes about Ledford's good hands." Ledford calm in postfight, shaking out long blonde locks. "I always could hurt girls," Brandy shrugs. "Jewel had no clue what I'd bring to the ring; glad I could clear that up for her. As for my plans - that's pretty much out of my hands. I'm not into the politics of the FCBA, you guys know that. If girls want to get lit up Brandy Ledford style, they know where to find me."
