Before: Stay-busy fight for Nicolette—big blonde anxious to crack Top 5 at welter and position herself for a run at Loken. Tripplehorn a smooth bodied veteran, not as physical as Sheridan, but has good hands, good upperbody defence—she’s slick and smart enough to go rounds with any big woman. Lavender push up and panties, white lace trim Sheridan, baby blue bikini Jeanne, pretty blue bow tieing up hard working ponytail.

During R1: Sheridan right hand at her temple, stepping in thudding single jabs, moving jean round the ring. Trip’s legs not what they used to be—all upperbody movement and blocking as she weaves stick, rolls right hands, keeps her dukes up. Consistent Sheridan work erased late when Jeanne turns on a slick hook-off-the-block, snagging Nicolette’s chin and getting a queasy jerk-step from started blonde. Tripplehorn pouncing, spanking away waistline, both dukes, crowding in close to out-hustle stunned Sheridan at bell, stealing points with the late rally.

R2: Nic shrugs it off, gets back to being the bigger, stronger, busier girl this round. Tripplehorn cute, bending at the waist, stepping back, rolling with Nicolette’s right hands, but not answering back much—blonde the aggressor, moving her hands, carrying the fight.

R3: Similar look—Nicolette coming forward with the shock jab, dropping short right hands and mopping up hooks—Tripplehorn anticipating well, giving ground in good order, ducking and slipping shots. Jeanne doing a much better job of countering Nicolette’s misses—placing clean punches on blonde ribs and chin, walking Sheridan into distress. Nic showing no ill effects, but she’s getting popped so flush, judges can’t miss it: round to clever Jeanne.

R4: Jeanne keeps at it, making Nicolette miss, making her pay, Tripplehorn always sliding back, taking the edge off Nic’s haymakers, walking Sheridan into rightly curled check-hooks to jawline, rolling with Nic’s rights and answering back stubby rights on the chin. Jeanne starting to sidestep, using Nicolette’s aggression against her: matador moves guide Sheridan to ropes where she has to cover up and give away her belly to thumping Tripplehorn work as brunette crowds, smothers receipts. More and more—Jeanne controlling Nic with angles, bodying up at times to confound blonde expectations—Sheridan frustrated, bamboozled through 4.

R5: Nicolette snaps out of it, doubling up the jab and popping it with renewed vigor—stepping in and catching Jeanne clean right hands as Tripplehorn fades back, Jeanne driven to the ropes, calm in the pocket, dukes up earmuff—she’s just bending and rolling. Turning her shoulders to soak up shots on her obliques and elbows, denying Nicolette clean belly meat, whenever possible. Sheridan attacking along the ropes, jabbing to stabilize, going hamhanded to the body—good bell to bell sequences sees her post a muscular, controlling shutout.

R6: Jeanne saps Nicolette’s momentum with a sneaky, well-oiled jab, slide-step back, walking Sheridan into more well-timed hook counters and pre-emptive lead rights. Tripplehorn potshotting, bodying up, turning Nicolette, walking her around—brunette utilizing smart punch n’ clutch as blonde bogs down. Hard right hand on the button midway through has Sheridan grimacing, covering up—Jeanne punishes stout blonde midriff with short-arm lefts and rights, just licking and swatting in tight to put mileage on curvy cougar legs.

R7: Nicolette landing her right hand with authority off the jab—she’s catching Jeanne clean and hurting her in early action. Tripplehorn wobbly butt and startled—she’s reaching around the waist to clinch and clear her head. Nic angry with the holding, palming and slugging around Jeanne’s extended arms to punish the hips and lower back—referee issues a steady stream of  warnings. Nice crisis management from Tripplehorn as she swamps Nic with clinches, gets legs back and starts to fight again late. Tripplehorn easing back, timing Nic, stroking jaw the counter-hook and scoring a tidy straight right on the mouth at the bell.

R8: Nicolette eats an early hook her legs don’t like—she’s unraveling a bit, frustrated, gambling. Blonde walking in, jabbing hard, but bringing it back low—Jeanne sitting on the openings, leaning in to put cracking right hands clean on the chin, ducking low on follow through, easing onto her back foot to collect the hook on her way out. Series of cutey-pie Tripplehorn counters scores to Nicolette’s chin and SHERIDAM GOES DOWN! Woozy Nic finally stumbling to all fours, mouth agape—she’s shaking her head in drowsy disbelief as Tripplehorn’s punching takes accumulated effect. Achy 8 Nic—Tripplehorn walks in hands at her hips, then steps, bends and gets a GIGANTIC overhand right clean upside Nicolette’s head! Blonde draping stunned against the ropes, eyes foggy, hands at her chest and JEANNE UNLEASHES! Brunette going all-in: hook in the hip; hook on the jaw; pause to prop Nic the extended left elbow; tidy right hand on the chin; tidier hook on the chin; GUTTING hook in the liver! Nicolette’s legs locked, eyes staring, torso lolling as clean blows add up and THE REF JUMPS IN! Sheridan not answering back—official has no choice—stunning TKO8 Jeanne Tripplehorn.

After: Demure grin from Jeanne T as she posts the upset, pounding an overconfident Nicolette Sheridan senseless in 8 patient, methodical heats, Huge win fro Tripplehorn, her best in two years—she was able to stay in the pocket, pick and choose her shots, hold when she had to—she really took Nicolette apart tonight, Sheridan battered, demoralized: losing to Tripplehorn definitely not in the business plan. Jeanne T now a dark horse at 130+ but will she get the love from Tractorpull for her efforts?
