Before:  Landry upset at the brawler label she’s been awarded—cites distinguished pageant career as evidence that she can box. Brenneman a little rough around the edge, but has the legs to stand in with Landry I what could be a slugfest early if both girls live up to pre-fight comments. Ali in black push up, gold bikini bottoms; Amy in blue sports bra, red bikini bottoms—both girls wear their hair in loose brown curls.

During R1: Landry making a point of establishing the jab—girls reach with left hands into jaws to Ali’s advantage. Landry doing the scoring, jab sets up sharp right crosses through the second minute that have Brenneman double clutching and wobbly butt. Ali completing the shutout behind a stuffing jab to Amy’s mouth and breasts as Brenneman breaks down defensively late.

R2, 3: Brenneman getting it all back and then some, taking both rounds behind a jarring right cross on the chin that has Landry staggering on several occasions. Nothing fancy from Amy as she loads up and punches hard off that back foot and damn the consequences. Landry on the defensive, can’t make her pay as the Cajun cutie begins to lump up on the left side of her face.

R4: Blistering exchanges as the girls take turns with crisp one-twos outside—each showing surprisingly good form and pop, Down the stretch, Landry crosses Brenneman up, shooting the right hand straight to the body, catching Amy in the high guard and buckling the brunettes knees with spanking blasts to the sternum. Brenneman hurt, grimacing at the ropes, hangs on to the bell.

R5,6: Landry getting a little right hand happy—Amy able to step back, fading Ali’s right hand and countering with hard rights up the middle. Ali coming forward gets her licks in, but she’s getting slapped around—Brenneman showing a little savvy in steering her foe, showing Landry just enough movement to take the edge off Landry’s blows. Both rounds to Amy.

R7: Best round of the fight as Landry gets back on top early with the ramming jab to the jaw, graduating to spearing right hands on the teeth to wobble Amy’s butt at the midway

Point, Landry getting busy starts to open up with a hurt Brenneman on the ropes, but Amy stays calm, hands at her temples, and punches inside Landry’s swings, clipping away with little short clubbings to the face and LANDRY IS HURT! Ali staggering away glassy-eyed, Amy slugs her to the center ring behind big swinging lefts and rights. Landry pushing her hands out weak at the bell as Brenneman tries to finish her with crashing overhand rights.

R8,9: Brenneman’s turn to get overanxious—Landry in retreat and looking gunshy, but she is steering Brenneman with a hurtful little jab, clinching to tie Amy up if she gets close enough. Amy loading up, lands harder blows, but she’s getting peppered in dropping these crucial late rounds.

R10: Ali Landry saves her title with the jab, refusing to trade with Brenneman, pecking and stepping left as Amy blocks and watches. Brenneman moving into power punching range walk into nifty right hands to her belly just before Landry can clinch for the break—cloying hit and grab yields a shutout for Ali and a visibly frustrated Amy gives up the UD10.

After: Landry under pressure, responds with a Plan B as she is slugged to a standstill by the determined Brenneman toe to toe. Championship rounds see Ali fight at long range, beating Amy to the punch and disrupting Brenneman’s timing enough to retain her title with surprising poise and ring generalship.
