BOXING AFTER DARK

Before: O’Dell hungry for brunettes, lands one of the best if not the most recognized in Trickey--WB finally taking steps to move their underused prospect. “This is the right fight at the right time for Jenny,” says a studio Honcho. “O’Dell thinks and we agree, that she can move up a little, work the border the way a Helen Hunt or a Brittany Daniel does, beating Trickey would set up some good non-title pay days for Jen.. “Trickey looking to parallel Jenny’s plans on the brunette side of the ledger. “I’m as talented a fighter as Catherine Bell, Catherine Zeta Jones, Jenny Connelly--any of them. I just haven’t had the opportunities to shine that they have.” O’Dell in navy sports bra, pale blue bikini bottoms. Trickey in red cotton jockey two piece.

During R1: Jenny taking the fight to Paula’s corner, quickly gets herself wrapped and spun, then worked over bell to bell by a very efficient, hard punching Trickey this round. Body and head--Trickey banging that belly then doubling up the left hand to pop up O’Dell’s head--it’s a punishing way to start a 10 round fight. Jenny bloodied in the nose, worked over in the midsection, gets sent to her room without dinner as Trickey can’t disguise the smirk.

R2: O’Dell back out hard, shaking off the damage and she nails Trickey with 2 right hands in quick succession to put brunette butt on the turnbuckle. Jenny digging to the breadbasket with churning shoulder action, then coming up to wallop those tits and TRICKEY’S HURT! Paula breaking down, looking to clinch--Jenny just brawling he back into the corner, ladling on the hurt, O’Dell with her legs set strong, piling Paula up, making her feel the weight, then working in bursts between the hips and into those gorgeous jugs. Late in the round, girls trade right hands to the body, left hands on the chin an Trickey nearly goes down--eyes wide and stupid as O’Dell snarls, almost pulls the trigger late.

R3: Jenny’s taken over, broken Paula’s spirit with that nightmarish second. All O’Dell as she piles on, scrubbing Paula at the ropes, stepping with the wilting brunette as Trickey staggers along the perimeter, Jenny just a punching machine--backside trembling as she pumps leather, fists bashing and splattering against belly, breasts, shoulders and head of the shellshocked brunette. At the bell, an exuberant O’Dell bounces up and down, glaring at Paula, daring her to show signs if defiance--brunette slinks way with a hurting wince after back to back shutouts rounds of Jenny.

R4: Paula comes off her stool with a slugging series of hooks and rights hands up underneath, backing O’Dell up with the curling haymakers, Midway through, Jenny moving her hands, starts beating Paula to punches and backing the brunette up to midring. A swinging right on the cheek, a clouting left hook and PAULA SITS DOWN! Trickey caught and clipped, supporting herself on her elbows as she shakes her head--she’s having trouble taking Jenny’s punch. Trickey takes 8., Jenny chests her up against the ropes and continues her torrid punching pace, beating Paula relentlessly in the body until the bell.

R5: Paula getting shoulder to shoulder with O’Dell--fight gets slower, more deliberate as the girls rotate tightly midring. Both cuffing each other with hooks, then leaning in close to smother the receipts--lots of sweaty pushing and turning as the girls look to free up room for a dig. Paula busier, gets the better of her blonde for the first time since the opening round--Jenny shaking her head after the bell, reminding herself of the keys to victory.

R6: Work--that’s the key for Jenny. O’Dell laying in once again with Trickey, but every punch of Paula’s buys her two in response as Jenny buries her face in Trickey’s shoulder, moves her hands back and forth underneath. Paula looking shopworn, mouth breathing, gives ground until she’s seated ropeside--All O’Dell down the stretch as Trickey can’t get leverage, can’t get off her backside and can’t stop the constant beating to her ribs and chest. Jenny all bright eyed and aggressive at the bell--she’s feeling the brunette give.

R7: Paula nails Jenny a beautiful lead hook--O’Dell taking the shot well stays right in the brunette’s face and more gut-wrenching back and forth erupts as the crowd roars. Jenny backing Paula up under a fusillade of lefts and rights--Paula rolling well to blunt this barrage, but O’Dell’s pressure can’t be denied. At the ropes, O’Dell rough with her left shoulder, pushing in, then leaning  out to whip in the hook, catches Paula a sweet one on the lips and spills the brunette to all fours at the midway mark. Trickey quickly climbs the ropes, but she’s swaying badly, eyes unfocused--8 count not nearly enough time to recover. Jenny jumping in, driving into the belly with a heartstopping straight right hand, comes out of the crouch with a booming left hook--Trickey draping limp at the ropes, out on her feet, but standing. A horrible finish as Jenny POUNDS away at the face of her sleeping opponent, catching Paula over and over, beating that face, back and forth until Trickey finally topples to her sude under the ropes. KO7 Jenny O’Dell.

After: O’Dell squealing in victory--Trickey on he stomach badly battered in the final seconds, sleeps it off as rthe blonde is feted in the ring, Jenny continues her upset minded ways with another vicious punching performance--blonde hitting her stride as she starts to separate herself from a very deep pack. Trickey deeply discouraged by the loss--hurts her to hear that BLONDE! Magazine described her as “perhaps the worst case of squandered potential in FCBA history.” Ouch.
