Before: Argentinian import and SI model Diaz in the mold of Carlos Monzon, reportedly able to use her lanky reach to box against punchers, while stepping in to slug with cuteys, Bingham from the Playboy brawling mills—typical one-dimensional bunny product, but with some nice wins to go along with litany of surprising losses. Pre-fight rumours have Diaz being groomed to fight Nolin/Banks et al down the road with Bingham selected as the first cobblestone. Diaz in charcoal camisole and panties, vs Bingham in red lace camisole and panties.

During R1: Diaz expressionless, coolly stepping and poking the jab—and getting caught with popping right hands on the side of the head as Traci loads up early. Diaz lazy left betrays her early and often as she paws at Bingham’s lip only to get clocked twice as hard in return.

R2, 3: Diaz continuing to fight a little too relaxed—Bingham loading up and leaning into banging right hands to the slender brunette’s jaw. Yamila doing a good job of rolling with the punches so far, but Bingham’s connect percentage a little too high for comfort through 3.

R4: Yamila starts to wear don after being sent back to her corner a little more beat up after each round, Traci standing and swinging with heavy right hands, beats Yamila to the ropes where the lanky Argentinian sways with hands at her stomach, looking confused. Bingham with wide lefts and rights busts Yamila up, driving her to the corner, and wildness ensues as Traci gets exuberant, Bingham digging lefts and rights between the hips on Yamila, looking for the payoff punch, but can’t quite land as a shocked Diaz moves her head just enough to the bell.

R5: Yamila shows a little un-model like handspeed, impaling Traci on the jab as Bingham charges in, and nailing her with the right cross on the way out. Bingham’s head snaps back and she takes a seat, lower lip split by Yamila’s perfectly timed combination. Bingham up but shaky, proceeds to stumble into a shutout round comprised of whipping left hooks, sticking left jabs and olting rights down the pike.

R6: Yamila showing the form that caught SI editor’s eyes earlier this year, stepping around Traci and going to the jugs and chin with whipping left hooks, Bingham undressed this round by Diaz classy left hand, tajes the shutout with a pout and complaints to the ref at the bell.

R7: Yamila stepping up the pace, on her toes, stepping lefts and hooking hard off the jab to put Tracy wobbly-butt early. Diaz mixing in right hands as she moves, pops, then moves again, looks to step ahead until the final minute. Seconds left in the round, Bingham chasing, catches Yamila with a left hook over the lazy right hand, and as Diaz’s legs lock, a crushing right hand to the teeth drives her to the canvas, Argentinian fails the gut check, taking the ten count on her back as Traci B does the Playmate strut. Devastating KO7 Traci Bingham.

After: Diaz showing flashes of finesse, but defensive lapses and the typical supermodel chin add up to an early evening. Bingham unspectacular, but persistent, wins the shootout, catching Yamila looking too far ahead,
