Intro:
Can Anya Taylor-Joy add the Black Widow to her list of scalps? Scarlett Johansson will be looking to celebrate the release of the latest Avengers film by beating the highly rated youngster.

Anya is 23 years old; she stands 5'7, holding a record of 4 wins, all by way of knockout, with 1 defeat, she is the 2017 bantamweight New Blood champion.

Scarlett is 34 years old; she stands 5'3, holding a record of 34 wins, 26 by way of knockout, 41 defeats with 3 draws, she is a former two time FCBA flyweight champion, a former FCBA bantamweight champion and a two time FCBA JMD champion.

They were interviewed before the fight at their gyms by the FCBA Networks Lucy Liu, with Lucy first meeting Anya for a word on the fight.

After hugs they get down to business with Lucy asking Anya how she feels going into this fight, Anya replies "I mean I am fighting the Black Widow, how do you stop an ass kicking machine like that?" With a chuckle as she jokes with Lucy.

She gets serious as she continues "seriously though Scarlett is frickin amazing! She has held so many titles that show she isn't just acting a bad ass, so she has all my respect going into this fight"

Lucy then asks how Anya will go about beating Scarlett, she answers "I'm going to have to rely on my boxing skills, I know technically she is one of the best ever, I have the reach though to keep her at range to wear her down, then finish any chance I get, this is a fight where I'll need to be at my best"

Lucy then goes to see Scarlett finishing up her workout, the two share an embrace and quickly chat about how the other is, before they get down to the topic at hand.

The first question is how is Scarlett feeling about the fight, Scarlett answers "Anya is a good kid from what I have seen, knows how to box but I'm the one she has to overcome, I just need to remind her where she belongs compared to me"

She is asked next how she will overcome the height difference, Scarlett replies "you know that big girls don't like being worked to the body, my coach told me the first time I fought a taller bantamweight that you have to cut down the trunk before taking the off the branches"

Scarlett says "this year is going to be massive for me, I know that people are doubting me, I say to that never doubt me to make some girls cry around here" smiling as she shakes hands with Lucy.

Fight night in the AT&T Stadium, Anya comes out with her coach beside her, she is looking focused as she heads down to the ring, her coach telling her to give the fans a show.

She is wearing a light blue sports bra, matching trunks, shoes and gloves, while her hair is tied into a fighting ponytail.

Stepping into the ring; Anya gives the fans a quick wave, but is quick to get into her corner, where she limbers up as her coach continues to give her a pep talk.

Now out comes Scarlett with her coach behind her, she is banging her gloves together as she begins to walk to the ring looking all business tonight.

She is wearing a black sports bra, black trunks with red trim and "widow" in red letters on the waistband, black shoes, red gloves and her hair is in a ponytail too.

Getting into the ring; Scarlett nods over at Anya before she gets to her corner, Scarlett shadow boxes to warm up as she gets a loud chant of "widow" from the fans.

Coming to the center of the ring; neither looks to have malice to the other, they are looking fully focused though as they look the other in the eyes.

They quickly bump their gloves together before returning to the corners, ready to start 10 rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
They start off near the center of the ring; Scarlett looks to establish her game plan quickly as she slips a jab to go to work on the inside.

Anya looks a little surprised by how quickly Scarlett is coming at her, a rookie mistake it seems as she is being bullied back to the outside of the ring.

A smile already seems to be on the Avengers star face, digging shots into the abs of the taller fighter as she dips her own head down, looking to pin Taylor-Joy to the ropes.

Finally Anya manages to open up a gap between them with a right across the top of her head, using her left to nudge the veteran backwards.

Now Anya starts to get her punches going, landing to the top of Johansson's head, keeping her at range as she starts to move around the ring.

Seconds left in the round when Scarlett slips a straight to land an overhand left to the cheek, with Anya getting hit with another two shots across her face to back her up.

The bell rings with Scarlett jogging back to her corner with her coach smiling at her, while Anya is getting told off hers to get her head into the game.

Round 2:
This time Anya starts off the quicker as she gets the reach where she wants it, smartly Scarlett tightens her guard as she takes hits on her gloves.

Dodging punches from Anya so she can move inside, ripping body shots in before just missing with an uppercut as the youngster leans out the way.

They both land clean shots as they circle, Anya looking to be landing the better punches as she keeps Scarlett at arms length.

After slipping a left cross; Scarlett lands a right under the ribs followed by an overhand left across the cheek of her taller opponent.

The black Widow forces Anya back behind her gloves as she looks to throw up top, most land on the gloves but the main thing is they are stopping Anya throwing much back.

The round ends with Anya looks slightly more relaxed as she sits on her stool, Scarlett's camp though is much more happier after two strong rounds.

Round 3:
Both look to throw more combinations as they circle, planting their feet to lay into their opponent as Anya surprises a few people by getting stuck in with Scarlett.

When Scarlett misses with a right cross; Anya sidesteps her so she can counter with two straight punches to the side of the former champions head.

Anya is starting to look more aggressive after taking the center of the ring, head hunting with her punches as she keeps Scarlett mostly under wraps now.

After slipping a left cross; Scarlett does manage to land two stiff body shots to make Anya groan, a right across Scarlett's head though makes her retreat as Anya just misses with a left.

Back and forth goes the action as Anya isn't going to let Scarlett get an easy ride, instead they trade more stiff shots as they let their hands go.

An uppercut knocks Scarlett's head back, allowing Anya to finish the round strong as she beats the smaller fighter into a corner, when that bell rings Anya gives a smile to her corner as she knows she has slowly dragged this fight around.

Round 4:
Again both come out looking to trade; with Scarlett putting her head down to move in close, getting hit on the top with a double jab that makes her think twice.

Anya goes to step after her but she now misses with a right, Scarlett dips under it before landing a straight to the body, then an overhand left knocks the taller fighters head around.

Staying in the pocket; Scarlett is making this uncomfortable for Anya, who can't land more then glancing shots as Scarlett works the body to wear down the younger fighter.

Needing to clinch up with Johansson when her back touches the ropes, Anya looks a little annoyed that she can't keep the veteran off her, she can be seen looking at her coach who is telling her to think about it.

Once they are apart Anya boxes on the back foot, letting Scarlett come to her where she is landing up her double upped jab on the face of her opponent.

Scarlett ducks down as a right sails over her head, she lands a right to the body, Anya though strikes her with a left as they start to slug it out, the smaller fighter looks better at this close up battling.

The round ends with Scarlett looking to have regained control of the action, Anya's corner though isn't getting too worried yet as they tell her to rely on her boxing skills to win this.

Round 5:
It's been clear from the opening bell of the fight that Scarlett is wanting to keep her younger opponent on the back foot, stepping forwards quickly to keep in her face.

Anya nudges her back before landing that double jab up on the face of Scarlett, moving around my side to side while using double and triple jabs to frustrate her opponent.

The Avengers star tries to slip a jab, Anya sees it though and moves back out the way, countering with a straight on the nose of Scarlett.

Who is looking to be thinking for the first time in the fight about how she is going to close the gap, that's letting Anya land through her mitts to her face to send sweat off the veterans head.

Scarlett does manage to land a jab/straight combo to the body, as she goes to throw an uppercut Anya beats her to the punch with a left to the side of her head to unbalance her slightly.

Leading to the late part of the round Anya bashing Scarlett into a corner, where Scarlett has to cover up as Anya unloads on her, punches are finding a home as the youngster keeps switching up her targets till the bell rings to end a much better round for Taylor-Joy.

Round 6:
That last round seems to have taken a little confidence from Scarlett, she isn't rushing to pressure her opponent as much now, which is giving Anya more freedom to work.

Scarlett does manage to land a few body shots, but Anya steps to the side when Scarlett goes for the overhand punches, giving Anya an opening to strike the side of the smaller fighters head.

The momentum definitely has switched as Anya is landing the cleaner punches, snapping the head back of Scarlett more as she is landing through the gloves of her opponent when she spots the openings.

Late in the round Scarlett gets inside to land to the body, Anya nudges her back and lands a right across the chin of Scarlett that wobbles her, SEEING THIS ANYA LANDS A JAB/UPPERCUT COMBO THAT SENS SCARJO TO HER BACK!

The Scarlett fans look shocked as Anya's supporters stand cheering, 1...2...3...4.. Scarlett turns to her front, blinking as she tries to clear her head as she crawls to the ropes, 5...6...7.. Grabbing for the ropes, she is still shaken as she falls back down to her, 8...9...10 that's all she wrote, Scarlett is counted out!

Winner Anya Taylor-Joy KO Round 6

After:
This is by far the biggest scalp in Anya's career, she looks a little shocked she has beaten Scarjo as she smiles and looks over at her coaching team.

While Scarlett is checked on by her coach, when she fully comes around she punches the canvas in frustration at not being able to keep on top of Anya.

After Scarlett is helped up; Anya can be seen looking over at her with a worried look, she looks relieved when she sees Scarlett is OK.

Both get cleaned up by their coaches before they head to the center of the ring for the final result to be announced, with Anya getting her hand raised to a loud cheer.

When her arm is put down; Anya quickly turns to Scarlett to tell her "it was an honour to fight you, thank you for the opportunity" Scarlett just nods as she doesn't look in the mood to talk to her.

Scarlett leaves the ring and must be wondering how can she recapture the form that got her all those titles, at 35 maybe she should be worried that she won't be able too, judging by how she is talking to her coach she isn't going to give up on this career.

Inside the ring Anya's star continues to rise, with the latest stable signings coming from New Blood tournaments, Anya will be hoping a stable will be taking notice of her wins.

For now it's about celebrating as she leaves the ring to sign some autographs with the ringside crowd, feeling like a champ right now as she mingles with fans.

There's still some learning to do for now as she heads up the aisle, her coach reminding her tonight was another test to build her up.
