During R1: Gina prettying Jen up early. Gershon nice and easy around the ring, tap-tapping out the jab with an open glove, sidestepping around Jen's right flank with impunity. Gina hooking rib off the jab, pivoting left around the punch - Jen a step behind and midway through, Gershon jabs, hooks, pivots and NAILS a straight right hand on the mouth to send Connelly stumble-stepping backward. Gina hopping forward with a lashing left/right, then dig-digging whippy hooks up underneath, in tight to push and a clouting right on the face - Connelly jackhammered up against the ropes in disarray. Final minute, Gershon going shoulder to shoulder to wear Jen down in the corner - Connelly turning her torso into clubbing little hooks bangs away jaw and flank to avoid the shutout.

R2: Jenny gets on track, jabbing with Gina, disrupting veteran timing, shooting a straight right hand to cut off the ring, then getting in close for hooks. Vintage Connelly pressure as she leans her head forward to Gena's chest, allowing room underneath for swinging hooks to breadbasket, then shifting to get tighter, clipping hooks on the chin with bicep and shoulder connection on follow through. Gershon beaten to the perimeter - sitting in the ropes and defending - Connelly bell to bell with consistent punishment.

R3: Gina counters with more and better footwork, circling left, backpedalling fades, touching Jen the jab and scorching her pre-emptive right hands as Jen crouches forward. End of the first minute, Gershon obviously watching tape of Connelly's last few bouts. Double G feints Jen into a reflexive crouch, reaches down to dig Jen's waist a hook, steps out to let Jen come forward and greases a sweet timing right hand on the chin TO PUT CONNELLY DOWN! Jen sputtering on all fours, shocked by the same shot that girls have been tagging her with for weeks. JC up and shaky, Gershon thumbing her nose workmanlike with 2 minutes on the clock, walks in to shovel on the hurt. Nothing fancy, Gina getting her shoulder on Jen, getting underneath the brunette, pressing her to the ropes, methodically working underneath to the belly with shoulder-rolling lefts and rights. Gershon coming off the stomach with tight uppercuts, curling her fists tight past her ears on follow through as she scrapes and clips the shots. Connelly moving her head - she's hurt, but alert, doing a good job of riding out the abuse. Gershon banging away for the shutout, but shaking her head en route to her corner: she could have done more.

R4: Gina boxing sharp in the fist minute, using the ring, discouraging Jenny with sexy ring generalship. Comes to an abrupt end in the second minute - Connelly backing away blinking, sells like she's hurt, and she catches Gershon coming in with a blocking little counter right hand over the jab. Gina's feet square up funky - Connelly goes over to offense with a fusillade of hooks to the midriff, bunching veteran up over her feet. Gershon in trouble, mincing forward - Connelly stepping back in good order and taking monster rips at the rightside and back, really getting into Gina. At the bell, Gershon swaying slightly, mouthbreathing - Connelly's consistent work downstairs starting to pay dividends.

R5: Girls jabbing each other midring, exploring probing. Girls trade hooks and GINA GOES DOWN! Just like that, sharp head snap, hesitation, then Gershon melts to her knees as Connelly jumps back with a happy yelp. Gina up at 8, staring, swaying - she's loose and not ready when Connelly comes barrelling in. Jen bulling Gina up against the ropes, then going at her with welting rights and lefts, side to side action just brushing aside the guard, slamming away at the face, sitting Gina helplessly into the ropes. Ref acting at exactly the right moment, tackles Jen away before serious damage can be done - Gershon drifting to her face off the ropes, she's all used up. TKO5 Jen Connelly.

After: Connelly jumping into the ring ropes directly above Brittany Daniel, draws a thumb across her throat - Daniel standing up, flushed crimson at the gesture and the knowledge that Connelly just one-upped her big time with this stunning performance. Gershon too fast, too good early, but Connelly dealt with the speed, ate her up, broke her down and finished her off like a machine in there tonight.
