Before: bit of a crossroads bout--up and coming Jolene looking to round into title contention form, Denise struggling to regain the form that once had her near the top of the bantam heap. Speed and lanky technique on Jolene’s side--Denise countering with savvy, durability and heavier hands on the inside. Cashmere white bikini for blonde locked Jolene--baby blue bikini with twist top Denise.

During r1: Jolene puts the polish to Denise in a classy first. Blalock long and limber outside, jab-jabbing breast and face, stepping to the left, dropping in a slinging right cross, mopping up a lanky hook to the tummy, Richards taking flush on her face and jugs, reacting late, looking sluggish--she gets tagged a hard right hand in the mouth at the midway point that has her staggering back on her heels, Shutout Blalock.

R2: Blalock gets back at it, Slick, sticky jabbing paving the way--Richards with her hand sup, leaning back from the pestering snap of the blows--she’s unable to get out of the way of cracking right hands to her chin or lathering hooks to her ribcage. All Jolene b until the dying moments--Richards weaving with her head forward, gloves at her temples--she rotates out of a crouch with a jolting single hook that land TOO flush! Blalock spun a quarter turn to her left and nearly sinking to her knees--she recovers, reels away as Denise stampedes her to the ropes at the bell.

R3: hammer and tongs--Richards looking to take more out of Blalock’s slender legs--Jolene trying to keep her back off the ropes, spitting and flicking out jabs as she steers the rampaging brunette. Second minute, Richards pressing the attack with banging rights and lefts tight out of her high guard--Blalock suddenly slices in with lanky batting hooks, 2,3,4 ribs and chin, smashing the mouthpiece off Denise’s chin and DROPPING HER AT THE ROPES! Blalock stomping off flushed with success--D stunned, clambering the ropes all tremble-bodied--she’s busted up and hurt. All Blalock the rest of the way as she lashes it up down the stretch, doubling and tripling up on those limber hooks, then biting down on harsh straight right hands, getting plenty of wiry heat down the pike.

R4: Richards shows grit, shakes off the punishment and has her best round thus far. Denise jabbing with Jolene, getting close and pressing up with her guard--she’s got Blalock ropeside much of the round and brunette gets things done. Bashing clouts to Jolene’s bony ribcage--D really biting away at bone, shoving Jolene back into the ropes after taking her hacks. Blalock stiff and sore, leaning in, trying to tie up, but Richards keeps shoving her off, punching hard to the body and finishing up on the ears and neck with workmanlike strokes. Blalock shopworn at the bell--long 3 minutes being worked over by Denise.

R5:  Jolene fighting well in reverse, long legs backpedaling nicely, luring Denise into the jab, batting hooks, then sidestepping her to turn at the ropes, Blalock picking her spots to come forward, shivering that hook to the body with multiple strokes, pulling out behind the jab--Richards grimacing as the long-armed licks take effect. End of the first minute, Blalock timing Denise for a slick jab/cross quick on the chin--Jolene stays in on her front foot, hooks the body, hooks the breasts, hooks the chin and DENISE SAGS BACK INTO THE ROPES! D badly startled, trying to right herself as Blalock sets her gangly limbs for a kissing wide hook, crunching straight right hand on the mouth and RICHARDS GIES OUT! Denise just imploding back into the ropes, then to the canvas, lying shattered on her side, semi-fetal. Blalock strutting, looking down pretty as she passes--KO5 Jolene Blalock.

After: Blalock serves it up on Denise big time--showing power, poise and the heart to come off he canvas and get it done. Richards ash amblers when she comes-to, clutching at bruised ribs, blubbering at broken dreams--she’s a heartbroken fighter.
