(Fates Boxing vs Pretty Little Punchers)

Intro:
A rematch now between two top bantamweights, Elizabeth Olsen and Shay Mitchell resume hostilities tonight in the Sears Center in Chicago.

Elizabeth is 30 years old; she stands 5'5, her record is 26 wins, 22 coming by way of knockout, with 22 defeats.

Shay is 32 years old; she stands 5'7 ½, her record is 31 wins, 29 coming by way of knockout, with 28 defeats, she is a former FCBA bantamweight champion.

They fought all the way back in 2014 when both were starting to come through the ranks, Elizabeth won in a dominant display by a third round stoppage.

Since then though Shay would be the one to win a title, with Elizabeth struggling to keep her form and in the end her first stable as a Ginny's Academy fighter.

But as Elizabeth heads into the arena tonight, she is a member of the Fates Boxing stable, one of the newest and fastest rising stables in the FCBA right now.

Getting interviewed backstage as she wears a black hoodie with "Fates Boxing est. 2018" Elizabeth joking to the backstage interviewer "I promise no Godzilla impressions" talking about some of her antics during the first fight.

Instead she wants to emphasis the following "since our first fight me and Shay have learned a lot, I mean look I don't want to be her friend but we aren't these two youngsters trying to claw each others eyes out to prove we are someone who belongs in the elite, we both are in that circle now"

Pointing at the hoodies front, Olsen adds "tonight for me though is about continuing to prove myself and my stable are going to be a force to be reckoned with for this next decade, Sadly for Shay that means another hammering at my fists till she quits again or I knock her out"

Shay on the other hand stands wearing a red shirt with "#reborn" on the front, she says "I can't hide the fact that last year was my worst year for a long time, only winning one fight in twelve months is heartbreaking to be honest"

She continues with a smile "over the holidays though I have set my new years resolution and as the front of my shirt says I will be reborn this year, back to kicking ass and taking names till I hold the title back in my arms"

Pointing at the camera as if talking to her opponent, Shay says "Olsen I am going to start by rewriting our history, yes you beat me up in our first fight, but unlike you I have climbed that mountain top and I will stand on your shoulders as I make my way back to the summit"

Fighting time; out comes Elizabeth first with her trainer beside her, she looks relaxed as she heads to the ring, waving to her fans in the front row as they chant "Olsen!" To her.

The American is wearing a red sports bra, matching trunks with black stripes down the sides, red shoes, black gloves, her hair is tied back into a ponytail.

Once inside the ring Elizabeth blows kisses to each side of the ring, in her corner she begins to warm up as her coach tells her to hammer into Shay's head that she isn't in her league.

Shay now leads out her coach Nia Peeples, pumping her right fist into the air as she jogs down the aisle, her fans chanting for her as she nods to them.

The Canadian is wearing a white sports bra, white trunks with "reborn" in red letters on her waistband, red gloves, white shoes and her hair is tied into a braid.

Stepping inside the ring, Shay stares over at Elizabeth, tapping her cheeks with her gloves to test them, she gets told by Nia "remember to punch her f***ing lights out for me" getting a nod from Mitchell.

When the fighters meet at the center of the ring, they can't seem to help but scowl at the other, years of not facing each other hasn't dampened their ill feelings it seems.

Told to touch gloves, they thud them together with a crack of leather echoing out, moving back to their corners quickly so the bell can ring to start 10 rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
Moving out their corners with eyes locked, Elizabeth is quick to dip down to land three body shots as she looks to get into the face of Mitchell like the first fight.

Shay moving back drilling a double jab into the top of Elizabeth's head, forcing the smaller fighter back to the outside, moving around the outside of the ring, drilling punches into the top of the head of Olsen.

A missed left though leaves Shay open to an overhand right to the side of the head, Elizabeth stepping inside to drive her back onto the ropes.

Where they trade hard shots that has their fans roaring for them, Elizabeth is winning the exchanges though as she can move to dodge and land the harder punches to knock her head back.

Needing to nudge back Elizabeth, Shay gets off the ropes and is able to keep the smaller fighter back with a straight right into her mouth, a left cross forces Elizabeth back behind her guard.

The round comes to an end with both women staring hard before turning back to their corners, the Fates coach rubbing the shoulders of Elizabeth while telling her she is doing a great job.

Round 2:
Moving back out their corners, as Elizabeth pushes forwards again, this time she is getting clipped to her face by the jabs from the taller fighter.

With Shay moving to box on the back foot, landing nice precise punches into the face of Elizabeth, keeping her on the outside in the opening minute of the round.

Till Elizabeth can slip a jab to move inside with a right to the ribs of Shay, an overhand left smacking the PLP fighter across her face to start powering back Mitchell.

Who needs to nudge back Olsen after taking several body shots, the next time the Avenger tries to get back inside, she gets caught with a left hook and a straight snaps the head back of Elizabeth.

Starting to open up more, Shay forces Elizabeth behind her guard, keeping her near the ropes and only able to land single punches as she shows off her hand speed.

At the bell this time Shay lifts her right fist into the air, sitting on her stool smiling as she talks to Nia, the PLP corner looks more relaxed after assuming they comfortably won that round.

Round 3:
If Elizabeth thought she could ram through Shay like the first fight then she is getting taught that is a mistake by her opponent, jabs and straights are knocking her head back as she stalks Mitchell around the ring.

The Fates corner is yelling at Liz to move her head more, Shay is dancing out the way of her attacks before landing some stiff looking counter strikes.

Seeming to realise her mistake, Olsen does slip a straight so she can counter with a left cross, stepping in with an uppercut that just misses, it has Shay moving back though.

Which allows Elizabeth to take the center of the ring in the second minute of the round, bashing back Shay with a mixture of punches to make them harder to block.

But as they enter the final minute, Shay leans out the way of a left cross, smacking a straight into the mouth of Olsen, followed up by a left cross to knock her backwards.

The final moments of the round sees Elizabeth boxing off her back foot, with the rangy punches from Shay keeping her where she doesn't want to be.

When the round comes to a close, Shay is continuing to smile as she jogs back to her corner, getting met with praise as she is doing better then the first time these two fought.

Round 4:
Coming out boxing more smartly, Elizabeth is ducking down to dodge jabs as she looks for a different way inside, Shay doing well to keep her at bay.

Darting inside with a jab to the body and an overhand right though, Elizabeth manages to get in tighter and force a heated exchange between them.

Leading to Shay moving back after taking a left/right cross combo, landing a double jab to the face of Liz to force her back a step, then moving to the left side of Olsen to stay out the way of her big right hand.

But Elizabeth is fighting doggedly, keeping on the front foot as she dodges with her head movement, landing an uppercut to push Shay onto her back foot.

Elizabeth pushing back Shay into a corner, both firing out hard shots to heads, Shay trying to get out the corner but isn't able to unleash her full power, getting caught across her face by Liz's hard hooks.

The bell rings to end the round with Elizabeth nodding at Shay, as if saying "I got you now bytch" turning on her heel to return to her corner, her coach telling her that's what they want from her.

Across the ring Shay apologizes to Nia, who tells her "save that s*** till you have pounded her lights out" making Shay find her smile again as they discuss where she went wrong.

Round 5:
Bouncing on their toes as they circle around the center of the ring, Shay is rifling her punches into the face of Elizabeth, keeping the Avengers star on the outside.

Till Shay misses with a straight, Elizabeth landing a left to the ribs of the taller woman, an uppercut knocks back the head of Shay as Liz drives her back to the ropes.

Shoving back Olsen; Shay moves off the ropes with a double jab aimed at her opponent's head, missing with both though as Liz moves her upper body to dodge.

Past the half way mark in the round, Shay is starting to get some momentum with several combos keeping Olsen to the outside.

But Elizabeth dips under a jab and lands an overhand right, THAT LIFTS SHAY UP ON ONE LEG, A LEFT HOOK SENDS MITCHELL ONTO HER SIDE!

Pounding her chest as she looks down at Shay, Elizabeth turns and heads to the neutral corner, 1...2...3...4.. Shay sits up rubbing her jaw, looking pissed off as she punches the canvas with her other fist, 5...6.. Pushing up to knee, Shay stares at Liz, 7...8.. Getting back up to her feet to beat the count.

Moving back together, Elizabeth is looking for a way inside to finish this, Shay boxing defensively on the move, stopping Olsen coming in close to land her power shots.

At the close of the round Elizabeth grins as she returns to her corner, the Fates coach patting her on her back as they talk about what to do to finish this bout.

While the PLP corner is working on reducing swelling around the cheeks of Shay, who pounds her gloves together to try to relax herself, Nia telling her to not let herself get bogged down in worry.

Round 6:
Stepping out her corner with a real purpose, Elizabeth is more aggressive as she tries to bash Shay's lights out, hitting mostly gloves though in the opening moments of the round.

Shay manages to land a jab/straight to force Elizabeth back a step, she moves side to side to stop the ring being cut off and her pinned against the ropes or a corner.

But the Scarlet Witch slips a left cross to move inside with a right to the ribs, then an overhand left smacks Shay to her jaw, sending sweat into the air as she starts to be bullied onto the ropes.

Pulling Olsen into a clinch; Shay looks to the heavens as if asking for advice, the referee is needed to break them up as Elizabeth has her head under the chin of Shay.

Once apart with a minute to go, Shay continues to box defensively, almost looking scared to fire her own big weapons, allowing Elizabeth a little too much freedom to get inside to work.

The round ends with Elizabeth firmly ahead on the scorecards it seems to everyone involved, her coach telling her she is fighting perfectly right now.

In the opposite corner Shay is being told to remember what they worked on, Nia reminding her that she has the abilities, she needs to believe in herself if she is to turn this fight around.

Round 7:
Looking to keep her momentum going, Elizabeth is stepping forwards with punches aimed at the head of Shay, who is looking to use her reach to keep Olsen on the outside.

Elizabeth gets in close to rifle in two body shots, taking a left to the top of her head before she is nudged back out by the Canadian fighter.

Who keeps needing to nudge back Olsen each time she gets in tight, Shay then landing a right hook to turn the head of her opponent, landing another two punches to snap back the head.

When Elizabeth throws a left hook, Shay steps back and counters with an uppercut that knocks her head back, another three punches land through the gloves of Olsen to her face, snapping her head back as she gets knocked onto the ropes.

Covering up as a hail storm of punches come at her, Elizabeth for the first time in the fight looking a little worried as several punches find their way through her guard.

At the bell Shay takes a deep breath as if she has dropped a weight off her shoulders, while Elizabeth feels her lip with the back of her right glove, seeing blood on it to make her curse herself.

Round 8:
Both come out firing stiff shots from the bell, Elizabeth trying to press back in close, getting caught with a double jab to the top of her head.

A right lands on Shay's abs when she tries to press forwards, opening her up to a left across her face, sending back the taller fighter a step, Elizabeth keen to drive her back further.

The fighters both are landing hard shots to the others faces, Shay is able to nudge back Elizabeth with her left shoulder, landing an uppercut to knock back the head of Olsen.

A follow up left/right hook sends Elizabeth stumbling backwards, SHAY LANDING AN UPPERCUT SENDING ELIZABETH ONTO HER BACK SPREAD EAGLE!

"Yes!" Yells Shay as she jogs over to the neutral corner, 1...2...3....4.. Elizabeth has her gumshield hanging out her mouth as her eyes are shut, 5...6...7.. Elizabeth feels her head as 8...9...10 she is counted out!

Winner Shay Mitchell KO Round 8

After:
Flexing her arms as she grins, Shay is looking back to herself as Nia heads into the ring to go over to the winner, hugging her as Shay is thanking her for all her help.

The Fates coach heads into the ring to check on Elizabeth, helping her to sit up as Elizabeth spits her gumshield out, she looks down at the canvas a little embarrassed to have lost to Shay, five years later and she couldn't keep on top of Shay.

Who is getting her gloves off in her corner, beaming over great win after months of bad form in the ring, Nia telling her as she taps the reborn message on her trunks "you need to make sure this message on your trunks you will live by, you deserve to be back in title contention if you work your butt off" making Shay nod.

Across the ring Elizabeth has her head down on the turnbuckle, she can be heard saying "stupid" repeatedly to herself, her coach trying to console her as they tell her she fought a good fight, just couldn't get over that finish line tonight.

She turns to face her coach, saying "thank you, but I made mistakes I shouldn't have, I need to stop doing that if I am to win a title here" the coach not exactly disagreeing with that assessment.

The referee waves the fighter to the center of the ring, where they exchange a glare, even now it doesn't seem like they will ever be friendly to the other, especially as Shay gets her hand raised and Elizabeth shakes her head.

Elizabeth turns and leaves the ring, carrying her gloves over her right shoulder as she looks to the heavens, thinking how she needs to be better, though her coach will probably hope that she won't let this defeat get to her.

Meanwhile Shay raises her fists into the air as she poses at the center of the ring, looking excited as her fans cheer and applaud her.

Leaving the ring with her Nia beside her, Shay looked good in the end of this fight, with the Pretty Little Punchers hoping this will be the start of a run back to the title.
