Intro:
It is now time for the main event of the evening, after a month of working harder then they ever have in the gym, Doutzen Kroes and Cara Delevingne now do battle to become the first ever European Cup winner, the final of this tournament is here with the atmosphere feeling electric.

While Alicia Atout tries to get word from either fighter, both coaching teams have stopped anyone going in that doesn't need to be there since the semi finals, every second to work on their fighters could be the key to victory.

Instead a video plays of how each fighter got this fight, first up showing highlights from Doutzen's fights to this point, first up beating Malika Menard in the third fight of their bitter rivalry with a right hook on the mouth in the sixth to end that fight with the knockout.

Then in the Quarter finals to begin her night tonight, Doutzen met the pre tournament favourite Nina Adgal before beating Sandra Kubicka, every fight Doutzen has been down once in the fight, her raw power though has been an equaliser, earning her way through a tough field with brutal knockouts.

While Cara begun her campaign against Sara Sampaio, while Sara didn't have a win to her name in the FCBA, she gave Cara a work out but as would be her way through the tournament, she caught out Sara with an overhand left to end Sara's dreams.

She begun tonight by beating Elsa Hosk, before defeating Karolina Kurkova in the semi finals, arguably Cara has had the easier run to this point, her boxing IQ has fully been on show with her punishing her opponents mistakes to get to the final.

Now it is time for the fight, first up two women from the FCBA committee bring out the big gold trophy this fight is for, a map of Europe is etched onto the cup, with a plague on the bottom, who will be the first person on it?

Well we won't have long to find out, first out comes Doutzen with her coach Nicole Ritchie behind her, Doutzen looks all business as she walks down the aisle.

Doutzen wears a black/white bikini set and orange gloves, her hair is tied back into a ponytail, stepping into the ring she glances at the trophy but settles into her warm up as Nicole tells her to grab this chance with both hands.

Cara now steps through the curtain with her coach, she smiles as she bounces on her toes, staring down the aisle before she begins her march down to the ring.

She is wearing a St. George's cross style bikini top with white bottoms, red gloves, while her hair is in a ponytail too, she steps into the ring nodding at Doutzen, no malice on show between them, this is just all about winning the trophy.

Both women come to the center of the ring, their national flags are held behind them as they pose for the cameras fists up while the trophy sits on a podium between them, each stealing a glance at what they want to earn.

The trophy is taken out the ring with the podium, the fighters finally able to go nose to nose, eyes locked in an intense stare as they want to get any edge over their opponent, only seeing resolve though in the woman in front of them.

Told to touch up their gloves, the fighters nod to each other before tapping their gloves with their opponent, jogging back to their corners, ready to start 10 rounds of lightweight action.

Round 1:
"Ding" both women come out their corners with looks of pure determination, jabbing exchanges start the fight off as Cara is more up on her toes, looking to have more spring in her legs.

A right across her face though catches Cara out, Doutzen quickly moves up into the face of Cara, sticking in close as she pounds the body of the English fighter.

Who needs to nudge Doutzen back before she is pinned to the ropes, Cara trying to keep Doutzen to the outside with her jab, use her speed over the older fighter.

But Doutzen shows off her class, parrying a jab to hammer in a left to the body, an overhand right comes over the top to Cara's cheek, turning Delevingne's head to the side.

Outworking Cara so far, Doutzen is keeping her on the back foot, using her power on the body of the younger woman, some at ringside pointing out Doutzen has went through more rounds to get to this point, maybe trying to even their energy levels.

At the bell it is a strong start for Doutzen, who heads back to her corner to praise from Nicole, who tells her to keep Cara under wraps till she either quits or falls to her knees.

Round 2:
Back out their corners they come, sticking to their jabs as they look for different angles to strike from, Doutzen again is the first to try to push the pace with a right aimed into the body, Cara sidesteps to the right of Doutzen then counters with a left cross to the cheek.

Starting to get her counter punching working, Cara is giving Doutzen something to think about, the cheeks of the Dutch fighter starting to mark up from cross punches as Cara is dancing around her over the first minute.

Till Kroes manages to slam a straight into the mouth of Delevingne, a left cracks Cara to her cheek as now Doutzen starts to motor forwards, her power on show as she turns Cara's head with several clean shots.

Forcing Cara to clinch up, referee steps in as the two fighters look happy to conserve energy after all they've used tonight to get to this point.

Once apart Doutzen tries to lash in a left/right cross combo, Cara moves out the way of them, countering with a double jab/straight combo into the mouth of Kroes to snap her head back.

Then as they enter the final thirty seconds, Cara slips a straight before landing an uppercut, knocking back the head of her opponent before driving her back to a corner with three clean shots to the face.

The bell rings to end the round with Doutzen nodding at Cara to show respect, Nicole isn't too happy how things went, especially compared to the Delevingne camp, who are beaming after Cara landed some beautiful counter punches.

Round 3:
Circling at first, Doutzen gets clipped around her cheeks when she tries to move in closer to her opponent more quickly, Cara's speed giving her real issues.

The opening minute of the round sees Cara keep scoring the better punches of the two, Doutzen's best success is to dig in straights to the body, though that leaves her open to being punched straight into her face.

Cutting off the ring finally, Doutzen forces Cara into a heated exchange to get the crowd roaring, punches slam across faces and abs get tested out as they bark with effort.

Doutzen knocks back Cara with a double jab to the face, followed by a right hook, backing Cara into a corner as she buries her punches into the sides of Delevingne's body.

Forcing a clinch from Cara, Doutzen pressing her body into Cara's to make the clinch uncomfortable, the referee needed to break them apart, with the English lass moving into space out that corner.

Final thirty seconds of the round sees Doutzen try to cut the ring off again, but she isn't able to as Cara keeps slipping punches to counter punch back, with a left hook smacking Kroes across her cheek just before the bell rings to end the round.

Returning to their corners, both sets of coaches tell their fighters what they need to work on to win this, the fighters mostly listen but can be seen stealing glances at each other, wanting badly to win this fight to prove themselves.

Round 4:
Using her experience along with her jab, Doutzen is looking to cut the ring off, she is getting caught to her chin with a few punches to do so as Cara's mobility continues to prove a headache.

After forty seconds though Doutzen times her attack perfectly, bashing a right across the jaw of Cara, she lands a left across her mouth to bust the bottom lip of Cara open.

Soon enough Cara finds herself stuck on the ropes behind her guard, Doutzen tries to break through at first, when not successful that way she switches to hooking the flanks of her opponent to draw out groans from Delevingne.

Who needs to nudge back Doutzen so she can get off the ropes, now Doutzen has the range where she wants it though, there are more firefights between the two fighters.

This looks to play into Doutzen's hands, she is landing some beautiful shots across the cheeks of Cara, with Delevingne boxing off the back foot looking for a way to sidestep and fire back.

Instead a shoulder bump by Doutzen knocks Cara again into the ropes, two uppercuts land on Cara's chin, forcing a clinch by the English fighter, Doutzen takes a few liberties by shoving her left forearm under the chin of Cara to try to get her off.

Referee breaks them apart with Doutzen warned to keep it clean, final moments sees both women land stiff headhunting punches between mitts to stunning faces.

Round comes to an end with both women turning on their heels to their corner, Nicole simply saying "beautiful" to Doutzen for a strong round by the BBU welterweight champion.

Round 5:
Trying to keep Doutzen back with her jab and movement, Cara isn't having as easy a time now that Doutzen is moving her upper body more, she is blocking more shots on her arms as she stalks after Cara.

Both women land some stiff combos into the others face, Doutzen's bottom lip is now bleeding from a right across her mouth to equal the score on that front.

But a missed straight by Cara leaves her open to an overhand left to her jaw, AN UPPERCUT THEN FOLLOWS FLUSH TO SEND CARA DOWN TO HER BACK!

The Dutch fans go wild as Doutzen pumps her right fist to them on her way to the neutral corner, 1...2...3...4.. Cara shakes her head as she turns to all fours, 5...6...7.. Crawling to the ropes, 8... She pulls herself to her feet, nodding to the referee that she can continue.

The fight goes on with Cara stuck in defensive mode, needing to keep Doutzen at range in case she gets caught again, Doutzen drills in several body shots looking to open up her opponent.

Cara plats spoiler though to some boos in the crowd, holding Doutzen to slow down her charge, it nearly becomes a wrestling match as Doutzen desperately wants to break free from the clinches to knock out Delevingne.

Who when the bell rings looks relieved, Doutzen bangs her gloves together to show her annoyance, though she gets praised by her coaching team, while Cara needs help shaking that knockdown off.

Round 6:
With renewed energy off scoring the knockdown, Doutzen comes out strong out her corner, drilling in more punches in bunches as straight away she takes the center.

When she swings in an overhand right, Cara is able to duck under it to land two counter rights close to the waistband of Doutzen's bottoms, the referee warns Cara to keep her punches up to make sure she doesn't travel below the border.

While Doutzen is looking good on the front foot, drilling her punches into the bloody lips of Cara cruelly to make her opponent cry out as she is backed up.

She can't seem to keep Cara under control for too long, a missed punch leads Doutzen to getting hit back by Delevingne, who looks far from out of this as she is counter punching more as the round goes on.

So much so that when they enter the final minute of the round, Cara dips under a left cross to bury her right under the ribs of Kroes, a left smacks just under the Dutch fighters boobs to make her hiss out.

Heads nearly clash when they let their hands go to finish the round, both take a deep breath as they stare down their opponent, referee needing to nudge them back to their corners as they look ready to screw the rules and pounce on the person trying to stop them having major success in their careers.

Round 7:
Stepping out to resume fighting, both women are planting their feet more to land stiffer shots, heads getting knocked back as fatigue really sets in now, having your third fight in a fight does that to you.

Doutzen lands a crisp jab/straight to send sweat and blood flying off of Cara, a left across Doutzen's face stops her from pressing back the Delevingne as both are landing nice shots.

A missed right from Doutzen leads her to taking a chopping right to the jaw, a left to her ear allows Cara to start backing up Kroes to the ropes, burying her fists into the body of the Dutch fighter, getting the Dutch fans to yell louder to their fighter.

Who seems to take their energy to fire out an uppercut from her guard, knocking back Cara as now Doutzen opens up on the English fighter, the English fans finding their voices as duelling chants ring out around the ring.

Under a minute to go, Doutzen has Cara herded along the ropes, Delevingne only really landing single punches out her guard with a few sporadic flurries.

Most of the punches is coming from Doutzen as she is looking like wanting to maul Cara down, digging in short sharp hooks to the body, then swinging up top to the sides of her opponent's head.

At the bell the fighters break apart, gumshields hanging out their mouths as they suck in more air, the Lookout! Corner are looking confident that if it goes all the way Doutzen has shown she has the engine to keep on top of this.

The English camp though haven't lost any hope yet, Cara getting some work done on a mouse forming under her right eye, her coach telling her to keep getting at Doutzen.

Round 8:
Wanting to stay on Cara, Doutzen lands several crisp punches between her opponent's mitts, knocking back the head of Cara, who is moving around the outside of the ring.

Stepping forwards with a left hook, Doutzen finds air as Cara just about leans out the way, landing a right hook under the ribs before burying her left straight into the stomach of Kroes.

Who tries not to show it but the body shows look to be taking the energy from Doutzen, Cara aiming particularly for under the ribs of the veteran to make her groan out.

Doesn't mean Doutzen isn't having some success this round, after the half way point she lands a double jab on the lips of Cara, pinning her in place for a right cross that turns her head.

Backed to a corner goes Cara, Doutzen has her head down as she begins to repay Cara for the body work with thudding shots, pushing down Doutzen's head into a front headlock, Cara forces the referee to step in to break them apart, warning Delevingne to keep it clean.

Coming after Cara, Doutzen misses with a right cross and pays for it with a double jab under her right eye, an uppercut knocks Kroes to her heels as Cara starts opening up on her.

The round comes to a close with Doutzen on the ropes, both fighters stand tall but they are marked up, blood runs from their mouths onto their boobs.

Coaches wipe down their fighters as they tell them to keep going, they are so close to holding the trophy, both women standing up staring hard at their opponent.

Round 9:
Snapping jabs into each others mouths as they look to bash back their opponent, Doutzen tries to step in quickly but misses with a left hook as Cara dips down, landing two rights under the ribs of Kroes.

An overhand right smacks Doutzen across the temple, her legs are shaky as Cara finds a second wind to start throwing a flurry of punches into Doutzen's face to knock back the Lookout! Fighter.

After a minute Doutzen tries to swing back but again misses, Cara this time lands to the liver, AS DOUTZEN DIPS DOWN AN UPPERCUT LANDS FLUSH TO SEND KROES DOWN TO HER BACK!

The English fans jump for joy, Cara heading to her neutral corner as she looks to the ceiling, hoping that she has done it, 1...2...3... Doutzen shaking her head as she turns to her right side, 4...5...6.. Getting to a knee, Doutzen grabs for a rope, 7...8.. Trying to pull herself up, 9... But her left leg goes as her body is too exhausted, down to her back she tumbles as 10 she is counted out!

Winner Cara Delevingne KO Round 9

After:
Falling to her knees as she holds her gloves to her face, Cara is overcome with emotion and fatigue, after a month of hard work and needing to win four fights, she has done it though becoming the first European Cup winner.

While Doutzen stares at the ceiling, tears of despair running down her cheeks to the canvas, arguably the harder run has led to this defeat, with her coach Nicole rushing into the ring to console her.

The crowd applaud both fighters, showing respect for them after all the hardships they had to get through to get to the final, Doutzen is helped up to her feet during this, both women like gladiators in days gone raise their right hand in the air to show gratitude to the fans.

Though Nicole still helps Doutzen out the ring, she can see her fighter is emotional and physically drained, she wants to get her out this cauldron as she knows that when Cara celebrates with the cup, it might be too much for Doutzen to take right now.

Doutzen herself is looking at the aisle, looking deep in thought, maybe about how she lost after scoring the knockdown in the fifth, it might be a sleepless night for Kroes.

Inside the ring Cara gets washed down and a drink, her best friend Suki Waterhouse has come from her locker room to step into the ring, hugging Cara as both shed tears of joy.

An FCBA committee member says to Cara it is time for the presentation, Suki placing an England flag over her friends shoulders, kissing her left cheek as she tells her "you deserve this tonight" making Cara mouth thank you as she can't find the energy to speak right now.

Wiping tears away as she gets to the center of the ring, her name is announced as Cara gets her hand on the handles of the cup, lifting it over her head as the England fans erupt cheering for her and singing the English national anthem as it plays over the sound system.

Red and white confetti rains into the ring as Suki and Cara laugh, looking at it flying over them, a "we are the champions" chant breaks out as Cara and Suki hold up the cup for all to see.

When all the confetti stops, Cara steps out the ring, walking around the ring holding the trophy for the fans to see, mostly only the English fans are left in the arena, Cara being shown love by them as they applaud her.

Cara heads up the aisle with her crew, with the last scene for the cameras being Cara holding the trophy up, Suki holds the flag up behind her, tonight could be the breakout for Delevingne, the one thing nobody can take from her is she will always be the first ever European Cup champion.
