Intro:
We have one finalist in the first ever European Cup tournament, who will Doutzen Kroes meet in that final? Will it be Karolina Kurkova or Cara Delevingne that will make it that far, which one will end up disappointed coming this far?

The path to this fight for both women has been an interesting one, Karolina begun her campaign against the skillful Georgia Salpa, taking six rounds to knockout out the Greek model.

Earlier tonight against the tough Romanian Alina Vacariu, after being tested through the early portion of the fight, once Karolina hurt her it was only a matter of time till it was over, a fifth round knockout adds to her reputation as maybe the biggest hitter in the field.

Cara meanwhile begun her tournament story against Sara Sampaio, the Portuguese fighter gave her some rough moments, but one mistake by Sara was eaten up by Cara, who smashed her lights out in the fifth.

Then tonight Cara fought Elsa Hosk, the Swede was on a mission from the opening bell, again Cara punished a mistake to finish the fight in the sixth round to get this far, so far her speed along with her growing boxing IQ has been a fearsome combo.

While Karolina has been seen by many as maybe the number two pick to win this event, Cara to some is the dark horse of the tournament, a battle of power against speed.

Out first comes Karolina with her coach Mel B behind her, she struts down the aisle as if walking the catwalk, she enjoys a good crowd reaction from her supporters.

She is wearing a white bikini with red trim, red gloves, while her blonde hair is tied back into a ponytail, she steps inside the ropes with a big smile as she heads towards her corner, looking relaxed that she will be coming out on top of this fight.

Now out comes Cara with her coach, she is pumping her right fist into the air, looking excited herself to get in the ring for this one, knowing how big a win is for her career.

Cara is wearing a St. George's cross style bikini top with white bottoms, red gloves, while her hair is in a ponytail too, she steps into the ring staring across at Karolina, looking more focused now as she gets into fighting mode.

The fighters come to the ring center, eyes locked as both clearly have no qualms about having to go through each other to get into the final, even their coaches look tense.

Told to touch gloves together with their opponent, they slap them into their opponent's, keen to return to their corners, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of lightweight action.

Round 1:
Kicking off the action with jabbing attacks, Cara is quick to duck under a straight to move inside to work the body of Karolina with three punches, getting shoved back though as Karolina waves Cara to bring it.

While Cara kicked off the fight the quicker of the two, a double jab to her face opens her up to a right cross, finding herself soon enough driven back to the outside as Kurkova takes the ring center.

Trading stiff straight punches into the others cheeks, Karolina is landing the cleaner punches, her extra reach allowing her to keep Cara struck near the ropes, with Delevingne moving side to side looking for a way to get back to the inside.

A left cross though turns Cara's head to the side with a middle to go, Karolina forcing the English lass behind her guard as she presses forwards with hooks to the body, Cara heard to be hissing, needing to pull Karolina into a clinch.

They are pulled apart with twenty seconds left in the round, Karolina misses with a straight and eats a left hook to her ribs, followed by an overhand right to the jaw just before the bell rings to end the round.

Karolina raises her right arm in the air to show she felt she won that round, nobody at ringside is disagreeing as her coach is all smiles, Cara getting advice on how to get around that longer reach to be effective.

Round 2:
Moving her upper body more, Cara is darting inside to work before getting clipped, she retreats back out as she looks to use more skirmish style attacks.

Karolina lands a sweet jab/straight to the face of Cara, starting to force back Cara again to the ropes after another right lands to the chin of Delevingne, who pulls Kurkova around so she can not be pinned to the ropes.

Dodging a left cross by dipping down, Cara lashes an overhand right to the side of Karolina's head, adding two left hooks to the body as she nearly has her head right on the chin of the Czech fighter to push her backwards.

Bodying up to each other, it doesn't seem wise for Cara as Karolina looks to be landing the harder punches, she is wincing a little more as the crowd roar for both fighters.

Wisely as there is less then a minute to go, Cara steps back to create enough space to land an uppercut to the chin of her opponent, snapping back the head of the Lioness Club fighter, driving her into a corner behind her guard now.

Cara looking strong as she sinks her fists into the abs of Karolina, making Karolina groan out as the seconds tick away, the round coming to a close with Cara banging her gloves together as she returns to her corner, looking excited to get back out there after a strong round.

Round 3:
Looking like she is starting to get her rhythm going, Cara's movement with her hand speed is starting to give Karolina some trouble, she is landing some nice two and three punch combos, compared to the single punches she is taking in reply.

A frustrated Karolina starts swinging more hook with her feet planted, missing with that as Cara reads them with ease, landing counter punches into the abs of Kurkova to make her hiss.

After the opening half of the round, Karolina finally settles down back into using her jab, surprising Cara as she aims it into the chest of Delevingne to make her shut her eyes.

A right cross smacks Cara to the cheek, sweat flies off her as Karolina now begins to back her up into the ropes with four punches straight into her face, blood running from the bottom lip of Cara as she finds herself near the ropes.

Clinching up with Karolina, Cara looks to take a moments rest, that doesn't mean they don't share some trash talking, referee needed to separate the two women.

Final thirty seconds to go, Cara slips a jab to counter with a left cross to the cheek, a straight follows to smack back Karolina now to her heels, Mel B shaking her head as she watches her fighter retreat back behind her guard.

At the bell Mel tells Karolina when she returns to her corner to step it up a gear, she needs to box more smarter as Cara made her look stupid in her eyes through that round.

Round 4:
The action settles down a little as they trade in jabbing exchanges, Cara still the one up on her toes more moving side to side to pepper the cheeks of Karolina, who is responding with her jab smacking into the bloody lips of Cara.

A straight to the chest makes Cara stop moving for a moment, long enough for Karolina to hammer a left hook across her face to send sweat flying in the air.

Retreating into her shell, Cara is being pushed around the outside of the ring by the hard hitter, Karolina staying in close with body shots looking to open up that guard to pound in the face of her rival.

Clinching up once again, Cara looks to her coach as Karolina leans on her in the ropes, the referee needed once more to split them up as Karolina barks at Cara to bring it on.

Knowing she can't match the power of Karolina, Cara tries to keep on the move, Karolina is smartly cutting the ring off though, landing the better punches straight into Cara's face to knock her backwards.

When the bell rings Cara looks relieved to be going back to her corner, her right cheek is looking puffy as her coach is yelling at her to never get trapped on the ropes by Kurkova, the power of the Lioness fighter clearly on their mind.

Round 5:
Surprising Karolina early after their first set of exchanges, Cara dips down while using her left forearm to bump back Karolina to the chest, landing an overhand right to the jaw of Karolina to turn her head.

Finding herself knocked back to the ropes, Karolina tries to fight her way back off them, Cara shows her nifty skills to dodge and counter punch to give her veteran opponent a new headache.

Pushing back Cara, back comes Karolina as she lands a sweet two punch combo onto those bloody lips of Delevingne, a left cross smacks the English fighter to her cheek as the momentum switches right around.

Till Karolina misses with a right hook, Cara dips under it and rifles two uppercuts to the undersides of Karolina's boobs, naughty but maybe paying back the Czech fighter for the punches to her chest earlier in the fight.

It opens up Karolina for a left cross to her jaw, followed by an uppercut that knocks her onto her heels, Cara bashing back now Kurkova, looking to be enjoying doing so as she herds her opponent into a corner.

There isn't much left in the round as Cara swings hooks into the sides of Karolina's body, there's a redness forming on each side as at the bell Karolina gives Cara a shove borne of frustration, referee quick to step in as Cara took exception to that.

Things calm down enough for both fighters to return to their corners, at the half way stage of this fight Cara just seems to be edging it, the blood from her lip though has been dripping onto her breasts to make her look in worse shape of the two fighters.

Round 6:
Wanting to keep the pace up and get into the face of Karolina, but Cara gets caught when she dips down into an uppercut, THAT STRAIGHTENS HER UP INTO A LEFT HOOK THAT SENDS CARA DOWN TO HER LEFT SIDE!

Barely twenty seconds into the round and Karolina fancies she has it now judging by her strut to the neutral corner, grinning as she looks down at Cara.

1...2...3.. Who is shaking her head to clear it, 4...5.. Pushing up to a sitting position, Cara watches the count as she rubs her jaw, 6...7.. Beginning to push herself up, 8... Cara beats the count with a nod to the referee she is OK.

The fight continues on with Cara needing to box defensively, Karolina looking for the big right hand to land, taking a few jabs to her face and chest to keep her back from Cara.

A right does clock Cara on the side of the head, back into the ropes goes Cara as Karolina looks to batter her down or force the referee to step in to end this.

Instead it's Cara forcing the referee to step in as she pulls Karolina into a tight clinch, it becomes a wrestling session along the ropes as Karolina tries to break free herself, making it harder for the referee to help break them up.

Order is restored with a minute to go in the round, Cara seems to be slowly finding her way back into contention as Karolina is starting to load up on her punches a little too much.

Less then thirty seconds to go now, Karolina misses with a right hook, a straight lands flush into her liver area, gasping out as her eyes shut, now it's Karolina looking hurt!

The bell rings with both landing after it, the referee needing to push apart both hurting women, the importance of this fight clear to see, glares being exchanged before they return to their corners, both sets of corner teams have some work to do.

Round 7:
The fighters step out their corners with eyes firmly locked together, Karolina isn't charging in like the last round, almost looking to be hoping to land a counter like the beginning of the last round.

A left feint from Cara proves that when Karolina looks to throw a right hook, she holds back but it looks too late to guard the right that pounds into her liver area again.

Karolina cries out as she backs up, Cara pounds the body of Karolina repeatedly, TILL KAROLINA TURNS TO HER SIDE AND HOLDS HER STOMACH WITH HER RIGHT HAND, HOLDING HER LEFT UP TO TELL CARA TO BACK OFF AS SHE GOES TO HER KNEES!

"Yes" says Cara as she heads to a neutral corner, bouncing on her toes as she watches the count, 1...2...3...4.. Karolina spits her gumshield out as she sucks in air, 5...6...7.. Looking over at her coach, Karolina looks almost apologetic as 8...9...10 she is counted out!

Winner Cara Delevingne KO Round 7

After:
Cara scores the upset, the dark horse of the tournament defeats one of the favourites, she leans back into the turnbuckles of the corner she was standing in with a big smile on her face, she is in the final of the European Cup.

While the defeated fighter looks at the canvas embarrassed by this defeat, she had Cara hurt but maybe let her emotions of seeing the finish line get to her, throwing victory away when it was in her grasp.

The winner on the other hand gets hugged by her coaching team when she returns to her corner, she took some punishment in this fight, so celebrations have to give way to her being checked over.

Across the ring Karolina is helped to her corner, she sits on her stool looking down at the canvas, Mel B yelling at her "what the hell happened! This was your moment! Yet you blew it!" Not happy one bit to be on the losing side of this equation.

Cara heads to the ring center for the final result to be announced, she watches as Karolina is helped out the ring, seemingly too much for Kurkova right now to watch.

The crowd rightly so applaud Karolina, though it won't help her emotions right now, she deserves respect for getting this far in the tournament, one more power punch in the sixth and she very well might have got her hand raised.

Instead inside the ring it is Cara getting her hand raised, she has a date with Doutzen Kroes, the two fighters not really fancied by bookmakers to be in the final will meet for the trophy.

As Cara steps out the ring, she will be hoping the Laura Vandervoort and Minka Kelly fight lasts a while so she can get patched up before the final, only one more win and she could be the first ever European Cup winner.
