(Free Agent vs Free Agent)

Intro:
Can the veteran Giselle Bundchen be the one to stop the unbeaten Wallis Day? She has her chance now her in the AT&T Stadium.

Giselle is 38 years old; she stands 5'11, holding a record of 4 wins, all by way of knockout, with 16 defeats, she is a former Queen of the Ice Hotel.

Wallis is 24 years old; she stands 5'8 ½, she is unbeaten in 3 fights, all by way of knockout, she is the 2019 lightweight New Blood tournament champion.

These two have a little history; Giselle was the mentor for Vita Sidorkina, Vita was the fighter Wallis defeated to win this years New Blood tournament, much to the chagrin of Giselle.

Who tells the FCBA networks Lucy Liu at her gym "I got a good look at Wallis in that tournament, Vita should have beaten her but that was her chance, I saw all I needed to know she is beatable"

When Lucy asks what she saw that gave her that hope, Giselle grins as she replies "come on Lucy; you have been in more fights then I have so you know as I do you never reveal a secret to success, you'll see along with the rest of the world what I do when Wallis doesn't beat the count"

Meanwhile Lucy comes into Wallis's gym later that day to see her working the punch bag, the Brit smiles as she waves Lucy over, while promising not to use Lucy as a punchbag to laughter from both.

Wallis is asked by Lucy about how it feels to be unbeaten so far in her career, Wallis replies "well obliviously it feels great, so far so good as they say" smiling as she slips off her gloves so she can get a drink.

She is asked about her feelings on Giselle, she answers "I do respect what she has done in the ring, while her record is poor, she is a former champion and has been in the ring with elite fighters throughout her career, if I can make a statement with her though you bank on me making it"

After wiping her brow; she adds "it also helps that I don't think she likes me, I mean I only defeated her protégé, I wonder how much she'll hate me when I beat her" winking as she shakes hands with Lucy, then returns to training.

Fight night; out comes Giselle first with her coach behind her, as always she walks the aisle like any catwalk, with a regal look to her strut as an air of confidence surrounds her.

She is wearing a gold coloured sports bra with green trim, matching trunks and shoes, while she has white gloves, her hair is tied into a ponytail.

Climbing into the ring; Giselle poses at the center of the ring with hands on her hips, then heads off to her corner with her coach telling her to remind the world why she is a great.

Wallis now comes out with a smile on her face, she looks relaxed as she jogs to the ring, waving to the crowd as her coach follows.

She is wearing a blue sports bra, Union Jack patterned trunks, blue shoes and gloves, her hair is braided for this fight.

Getting into the ring; Wallis bows to each side to show her respect to the crowd, then heads to her corner to begin warming up.

The referee waves both fighters to the center of the ring, they come to stare down their opponent, both looking focused as they shake their arms to keep loose.

They respectfully bump gloves before they return to their corners, getting their gumshields in before the bell rings to start 10 rounds of lightweight action.

Round 1:
The early action sees them start off behind their jabs, Wallis trying to work out how to attack the lanky Giselle, with the veteran landing the cleaner shots to the top of her head.

Needing to slip inside the reach of Giselle, Wallis lands two hooks to the body of the model, taking a shot to the top of her head when Giselle steps back.

The speed of Wallis starts to give Giselle problems, the Brit is sticking and moving to make Giselle think about where the attacks are coming from.

Giselle manages to catch Wallis with a straight to her face, following in with two cross punches to start bullying the younger fighter back towards the ropes.

But Wallis slips under a right to get back into space, before dodging another straight to counter with body shots to make Giselle groan out.

The round ends with both jogging back to their corners not looking too worried about the other yet, their coaches are telling them what adjustments they should make now seeing what the other can do.

Round 2:
Giselle continues to look to use her jab, doubling it up now to make Wallis need to think about her attacks, most land off the gloves of the younger fighter but it is keeping her back.

When Wallis tries to dip under a right; Giselle smartly steps back before landing a left across the top of her head to ward off the attack.

For the most part Giselle is keeping Wallis back, landing her shots up top to stop her coming in close, though she isn't landing many clean herself.

Dodging a straight; Wallis finally moves inside to land to the body, looking to chop down the taller fighter to size it seems.

Giselle needing to shove back Wallis, catching the overly keen youngster coming in with a straight on her nose, following with a left hook as like the last round is coming on strong late in the round.

The round ends with Giselle looking happy as she sits on her stool; Wallis meanwhile still standing as she is shaking her limbs, trying not to get tense after a frustrating round.

Round 3:
Giselle looks the more comfortable as the round starts, Wallis is rushing her attacks too much as she tries to close the gap between them.

Punches are landing off the top of the head of Wallis, knocking sweat from her brow as she keeps darting in when she should be thinking of different angles to strike from.

The Brits coach is yelling at her to change it up, she feints with her left as she seems to have heard the advice, Giselle tries to step forwards to press her back.

That gives Wallis the opening she wants, sidestepping Giselle before she counters with a right to her cheek, followed by a left under the ribs.

Wallis moves in closer range to force a heated exchange, it is a scruffy affair as they trade stiff shots, Giselle looking uncomfortable at this as Wallis keeps throwing to the body of the veteran.

Nudging Wallis back; Giselle just misses with an uppercut as Wallis moves back to dodge, it has given the model back the gap she wants though as Giselle works at range again in the remaining seconds of the round.

When the bell rings they exchange glares before returning to their corners, Wallis face is marked up as Giselle has some reddening on the sides of her body.

Round 4:
Giselle continues on with her game plan, Wallis though isn't letting her have as easy a time as they trade stiff single punches while gauging range.

As Giselle goes to throw a jab/straight combo, Wallis weaves around them before landing an overhand right that turns Bundchen's face around, followed by piston like shots to the body.

Ending up pinned onto the ropes by the bullying Wallis, Giselle clinches up as she groans with each hit, the referee needed to break them up as Giselle tries to grapple Wallis onto the ropes.

When they resume Giselle is able to land a double jab off the top of her opponent's head, trying to use her lanky legs to stay at her range.

But as the round is coming to a close; Wallis feints with the right before lashing a left hook into the ribs of Giselle, who winces as that looks to have really hurt.

The bell rings to end the round with Giselle taking a deep breath as she returns to her corner, not really successful in hiding that she is hurting as Wallis stares at her.

Round 5:
As the action begins Giselle looks to be guarding that right side of her body more, Wallis spots in and continues to feint while moving side to side.

Once she spots an opening; another left hook buries itself into the ribs of Giselle, WALLIS KEEPS SMASHING HOOKS INTO THOSE RIBS TILL GISELLE FALLS TO A KNEE HOLDING THEM!

Wallis poses with her arms up as she stands in front of Giselle, the referee needing to order her to a neutral corner as Giselle stares with a pained look.

1...2...3.. Giselle is breathing hard as her left rubs her right side, 4...5..6..7.. She doesn't look like she wants to continue as she spits her gumshield out, 8...9..10 the count ends with Giselle beat!

Winner Wallis Day KO Round 5

After:
The undefeated streak continues for Wallis as she smiles while posing hands on hips, then jogs over to her corner to give her coach a hug for their help in her adapting to the challenge tonight.

Giselle on the other hand looks miserable as her coach and the ringside doctor checks on her, they judge that she needs to be checked on the back as they help her up and out the ring.

Wallis doesn't acknowledge her opponent leaving, too busy chatting with her coach on what was good and where she needed to improve in future this has mostly been seen a success.

With Wallis jogging to the center of the ring so her arm can be raised by the referee, she puts her other arm out to the side as she poses for the cameras.

Then she thanks the crowd as she blows kisses to them, before jogging back to her coach to bump fist with them before they leave the ring together.

Definitely still more work to be done for Wallis but her star is rising with each fight, watch out for this space as they say.
