Before: Bobbie just might be the Ghost of Christmas Future for Denise--Phillips originallu hailed as the "Future of Celebrity Boxing" subsequently buckling under the pressure--Richards' career arc bears a striking similarity. Still, boxing poundits feel Denise has a more substantial tool-set to work with--Phillips almost entiurely a promoter's made-for-TV creation when she came up whereas Richrds has a distinguished amateur background to draw on. Good fight for both women as both feel in their hearts they can win. Purple string bikini for Phillips, royal blue bikini Denise, white shoes and socks for both.

During R1: Bobbi standing straight up, chin out, pushing out pretty left jabs as she jiggles to her left--Denise cutting down the ring, works with right round punches to the ribcage to worm her way inside. Latter alf of the round is all Denise as she palms up on Bobbi's arms at close range, swatting jugs and jaw with alternating lefts and rights, keeping Phillips on her heels to the bell. Strong denise round on the inside.

R2: Bobbi back on her toes, stepping left, hands at her chest--she pops a strong jab, then taps a surprise follow up jab that seems to catch Denise by surprise--Phillips able to wheel and potshot as Richard tries to wade in. Denise getting off in the last minute, diligent wide right hands to the body--going for left hooks upstairs as Bobbi's hands are set for offense. Round to Phillips as she dictates the peace.

R3: Bobbi lays down a slashing jab this round, spanking the fist off Denise's available face as Richards starts to take harder punches. Richards showing no respect, loads up and answers back with mindmilling overhand rights and wide left hands, forcing Phillips back despite Bobbi's better accuracy. Phillips turning her girl, both stand parallel to the ropes and a cuffing Bobi right behind the ear stuns Denise--Richards going wobbly butt and stooping out over her feet. Bobbi pumping a firm left hook to the sternum, clouts another wide right hand to the ear and DENISE GOES DOWN--falling to one knee with her hands on the ropes. Richards gets up before the ref can act and Bobbi CLOCKS her with a driving flush right hand on the side of her fce, this time really hurting Denise as she flops to her back under the bottom strand. AND DENISE IS OUT! Pandemonium ensues as Bobbi bounces up and down in gleeful triumph--Richards moaning, head lolling side to side on her back as the ref looks about wide-eyes. KO3 Bobbi Phillips.

After: Controversy reigns--Richards technically down, got up too fast--Bobbi should have been directed to a neutral corner and instead landed the free shot--Ref a step too slow to do his jobs costs richards a heartbreaker. Denise definitely stunned by the first right hand, but bitter about the loss as her chin furnishes Bobbi Phillips with a rare KO. Bobbi ecstatic, feels she had Richards hurt and all but out anyway--dismisses the second punch as "icing".
