Intro:
Our second bout of tonight sees two rookies look to improve their records, the undefeated "Batwoman" actress Javicia Leslie taking on the yet to win singer Ava Max here in the legendary Madison Square Garden.

Javicia made her debut back in August on an FNL card, beating Dove Cameron in a good competitive fight that showed off Javicia's skills, though she still had some things to work on from that contest.

On the opposite side of the coin Ava got tossed in with the sharks when taking on top contender Avril Lavigne, it was a fight she wanted badly but probably changed her mind on that when she ended the night looking at the lights in round five.

New reporter Layla Anna-Lee is on the scene for the FCBA Network, going into both fighters locker rooms before the fight to get a few words, first off going into Javicia's room to see the black woman getting her black gloves put on by her coach, she smiles as she sees Layla come in.

"Hey Layla, boy I have been waiting too long for more of this, fighting Dove was such a thrill, Ava I know from the bit trash talk we've done before the fight isn't going to be easy, her record doesn't tell you anything but I can see she ain't here to get paid, she wants to knock my head off" which Javicia looks excited about, her coach rolls their eyes with a smile.

Asked how will she take down Ava, Javicia replies "I need to rely on my skills, fighting isn't something new for me, I've always been fighting one way or another, this is just going to be another test for me that I can overcome, Ava I think will be reckless and I'll pounce" nodding as she tests out her gloves by banging them together, Layla thanks her for her time before moving on.

Going to the locker room of Ava to find her shadow boxing, the beautiful blonde stops so she can tell Layla "finally I am back in a ring, I have wanted to wash the bad taste of defeat to that bytch Avril for the past six months" fists clenched as she looks ready to punch a wall while remembering that defeat.

The subject turns to this fight as Ava continues "now I have to fight Leslie, she might think she is the bright new thing because she beat Dove but I am so really to give her a reality check, hell all these people who write me off as some dumb blonde will see why they are idiots, then I want Avril again, I need to beat that cow" turning her back on Layla as she goes to work on the punch pads, fired up ready to go now.

Fighting time, out come Javicia first with the "bat signal" spotlight over the curtain as she steps through it, that seems to give her a chuckle as she wears a black sports bra, black trunks with a red batwoman badge across the front, black shoes with red trim, while her hair is up in a ponytail.

Climbing through the ropes into the ring, Javicia waves to the fans as she does a lap of honour, settling into her corner as she goes through punching drills, looking more serious as she gets down to business.

Ava now comes out with a more cold look as she heads down the aisle, banging her baby blue gloves as she eyes up the ring, she has baby blue coloured sports bra, matching trunks and shoes, her hair is also in a ponytail.

Getting into the ring, Ava mounts the bottom ropes as she raises her arms in the air, looking around the crowd as she gets cheered by her supporters, once she hops down she stretches to keep limber.

While there is no bad blood here, the fighters still give each other a cold stare as they come to the ring center, bouncing on their toes as they measure their opponent up, the referee finishing their instructions.

The fighters touch the gloves of their opponent with their own with no incident, jogging back to their corners with Javicia nodding to Ava to show her respect, getting none in return before the bell rings to start 10 rounds of flyweight action.

Round 1:
Coming out their corners bouncing on their toes, the early jabbing exchanges show the task in front of Ava as she tries to find a way past her opponent's extra reach, taking the more cleaner punches in the opening seconds of the round.

The singer shows her turn of speed off nicely to duck under a jab to move in to work the body of the "Batwoman" star, Javicia needing to back up while landing a straight to push back Max to the outside.

It's an energetic start by both as they throw some crisp combos in, Javicia steps back out the way of a hastily thrown left hook, countering with a simply one-two combo straight into the face of the smaller woman to knock her back.

Pressing her advantage, Javicia knocks back Ava to the outside of the ring, forcing the fiery blonde to fight more square on then she'd hope with the ropes near her back, Javicia's past fight training experience on show as she switches up her punches beautifully.

When the bell rings to end a strong round for Leslie, Max thuds her gloves together as she'd make a terrible poker player, showing her annoyance at being bullied around their by the bigger woman.

Round 2:
Coming out more on the front foot, Ava is taking the fight to Javicia, forcing the older woman into more heated exchanges on the inside as Ava doesn't want another round of being pushed around.

A few good cross punches catch the black woman across her face, warding her back as Ava takes the charge to her, Javicia needing to tighten her guard as she still lands some stiff jabs through the mitts of Ava into her stunning face.

Missing with a straight though leaves Javicia open to an overhand left to her jaw, two body shots follow as Ava steps right into the face of the taller fighter, giving her a little taste of being crowded by Max towards the ropes.

Needing to shove back Ava, Javicia catches her coming in with a left cross to her cheek, stepping away from the ropes as they enter the final minute, Ava continuing to keep the tempo high as they fight around the ring with the actress on the back foot.

At the end of the round Ava bounces on her toes back to her corner, looking in a much better mood understandably as she stays standing, wanting to be back at her opponent quickly.

Round 3:
Showing a little too much reckless aggression, Ava is walking into more punches as Javicia moves around more, not simply letting Ava get into her face as easily when she can smack her back with crisp punches.

It takes Ava around forty seconds and a mouse under her right eye to realise this may not be her best strategy, by this time Javicia knocks her to the ropes with a jab/straight slammed into her face.

There's a hint of a smile on Javicia's face, enjoying controlling Ava as she keeps her herded against the ropes, still Ava won't be pinned so easily as she keeps looking to fire her way back off the ropes, without the freedom to move much though the blonde is easier to read charging forwards.

Ducking a left cross in the final minute, Ava finally finds an opening to really strike back, landing an overhand left to the cheek of Leslie, then with her head down she throws in a well drilled body punching barrage to make the older fighter hiss out as she is driven onto the ropes across the ring.

While Ava finished the round on top, she knows she didn't exactly fight smartly there, her coach needing to work on that swelling around her left eye as she stays standing again, Javicia gets washed down as she sits looking over at Ava with an almost curious eye.

Round 4:
Realising she needs to be a little more subtle with her attacks, Ava uses a few more feints to create some openings, getting to the inside as the fighters go at it, she continues to work the body as she tries to cut down Javicia to her size.

Pushing back the blonde to create room to work, Javicia slams a good jab/straight into the face of Max, pushing her back towards the outside of the ring, settling into a rhythm again.

Till Ava ducks a jab to hammer in two right hooks to the ribs of Javicia, an overhand left doesn't land flush but it does make Javicia cover up as she finds herself being knocked back into a corner.

Where Ava sticks to the body as she looks to be starting to enjoy herself, Javicia dragging her into a front headlock to get the referee to step in to pull them apart, warning Javicia to keep things clean.

The final forty seconds of the round sees both let their hands go in some fiery exchanges, Ava ratcheting up the pace of the fight again as Javicia is being drawn into Max's style of fight up until the bell rings to end this round.

Staring across the ring hard at each other, Ava continues to stand as if to show Javicia that she is the stronger fighter, Javicia not looking at all bothered as they both get washed down, Ava's left eye still a little swollen as her coaches work on that.

Round 5:
Coming back together at the center as they circle, Ava looking for that opening to strike as she is being met with punches aimed towards her left eye, the crowd getting behind the girls as they are enjoying this back and forth.

As Ava thinks she spots that opening by ducking under a straight, she is met with a left hook as Javicia quickly steps back out the way, the head of Ava is turned as she then eats an uppercut on her chin.

Now Max is in trouble as Javicia slams three more punches flush into her face, the beautiful blonde stumbles into the ropes as Javicia follows, A RIGHT HOOK TO THE TEMPLE OF AVA SENDS HER TO HER KNEES!

The crowd is going wild as Javicia jumps up with arms in the air, the referee needing to remind her to go to the neutral corner she is so pumped by the knockdown, 1...2...3...4.. Ava tries to stand but her equilibrium is gone, 5...6... She stumbles before collapsing against the middle rope with her right arm holding it, 7...8... Ava can only look at the referee as she blinks hard, 9...10 that's it! It is over!

Winner Javicia Leslie KO Round 5

After:
That's two wins in a row for the fledging career of Javicia, she mounts the bottom ropes of the corner she is standing in to raise her arms, a big beautiful smile on show as she pulls out her gumshield to tell the supporters she loves them.

Ava on the other hand looks like someone who had a hard night on the tiles, her coach needing to help her back to her corner as she is still jelly legged, once on her stool Ava tosses her gloves off onto the canvas in disgust at coming out on the wrong side of this fight.

Even as Javicia comes over to give her credit for a good fight, Ava looks furious with the world as she stares right through Leslie, who just nods at her when she sees no reply is coming, instead heading to her own corner to be cleaned up.

Once Ava feels up to it she is helped out the ring, not looking in the mood for much other then to get a shower right now, ignoring her fans as they shout their love for her, the win was all that mattered tonight and it slipped through her fingers after some great rounds for her.

The referee makes the result official by lifting up Javicia's right hand in the air, she pumps her left into the air as her fans chant for her, another good early win for Leslie as she builds her stock in the FCBA.

She leaves the ring with her coaches, already looking excited for whose next for her, plenty of people might start to take notice of her if she can keep this trend going in the ring.
