Dani's She Devils vs Samia's Samurai 5

Site: Belfast, Northern Ireland

The final fight of the tour takes place, aptly, between the two captains. The result of the overall match has been decided, but this fight is personal, added to which, a 5 – 0 whitewash would be humiliating for Samia. Both girls have won their two fights so far, but Samia has been floored by both opponents, and will do well to win this.

The girls do not like each other, with Samia saying, “Rest assured, this isn’t going to be 5 – 0. My girls have been outgunned tonight, but this is for all of us!” Dani oozes confidence, “I knocked out the girls I fought so far – and I want that five and ‘o’ scoreline!”

Round 1

These two look to mix it straight away, each girl wanting an early knockout, and they land some good, crisp jabs to each other’s face, neither able to get in a follow up, and it’s Dani taking the first backward step, hurt by a neat little dig by Samia to her flank, and the Brit gets her again, neat, short shots bumping into the American’s fleshy bits, getting her to the ropes and landing some better punches to her face, a good left hook knocking the older girl’s head sideways, but Dani’s a tough cookie, and she comes back with her own shots, sharp, stinging punches to Samia’s face, making the Brit cover up, and she’s the girl in retreat at the bell.

Tight round – Samia, probably

Round 2

Stung by Dani’s late attack in the first, Samia takes the fight to her again, getting the older girl moving around the ring, pushing her onto the ropes, hitting her to the body, all good, classic stuff, but Dani backs her strength, and she fights her way off the ropes, throwing good, hard, raking punches with either hand, her gloves carried low, making the Brit back off, then she gets her to the ropes, turning her, then hurting Samia with those hooks to her exposed body, the ribs, the flanks, just punching her wherever the girl leaves a gap, and it’s Samia looking pleased to hear the bell.

Dani got that one.

Round 3

Samia looks slower this round, taking deep breaths as she moves across the ring, forcing herself to get that jab working, but looking slightly desperate as she looks for headshots, a tough thing to do without weakening your opponent first, and Dani sees her chance and grabs it. Dani hurts Samia to the body again, good shots to the ribs again, then she thuds a couple of straight rights to the Brit’s pert little tits – that hurts – a hard left deep into her belly, and Samia goes down, gasping for breath on all fours, eyes misty as she gets up at 7, but unable to get off the ropes as Dani gives her body a hard beating.

Dani takes 3, especially with the knockdown.

Round 4

This time the early action takes place pretty much in Samia’s corner, as the Samurai captain is slow off her stool, with Danielle still content to hit the younger actress to the body – how much weaker does she want her? Samia is wilting, and another crashing left between her elbows, into her belly, has her on the floor again, struggling to breathe at all at first, retching when she does, and somehow beating the count at 9. There’s still a lot of time left in this round, and Dani’s going for the knockout, her punches now directed at Samia’s virtually unprotected face, and they’re landing, the left freshening her cheeks up, moving her around the ring, then Dani sweeps her big roundarm right hook around, thudding it into Samia’s jaw, and she’s down again, on her back, rolling over to her side, wincing, then falling onto her back again – counted out!

Danielle Harris knocked Samia Smith out in round 4, and that completes a huge 5 – 0 win for the She Devils.

Dani is more than generous in her praise for Samia’s girls after the fight, “Tonight we showed how much better we are! Much of that is down to out past fighting experience, but also to the regular work we have had on this tour. We want to thank the BBU for this opportunity, and I hope to bring another squad over in the future. In the meantime, we will party hard tonight, and we invite Samia and her girls to join us!” The applause is deafening, and Samia responds, “What can I say? Congratulations Dani! It didn’t go for us tonight, and I think we were a bit jaded, but no excuses, you won well. As for the party? How can we refuse?”
