Dani's She Devils vs Samia's Samurai 5

Site: Belfast, North Ireland

The Samurai have lost tonight’s match, and the next fight is one they were expecting to go against them anyway. Fergie is in good form, and expects to win, which could be Vanessa’s best chance.

The American smiles pre-fight, “I can’t wait to start celebrating, and I will, just as soon as I knock this little tramp out!” Vanessa looks nervous, “I can fight – and I’m younger, fitter, just better than her, really!”

Round 1

Using her fitness, Vanessa is bobbing, dancing, jumping around the ring, flicking out her unorthodox right lead, not really bothering the blonde, but just about landing them, whilst the older girl looks sluggish by comparison, almost walking around the ring, inviting the brunette to get in close. The round wears on, but Vanessa cannot run forever, and she gets caught in the centre of the ring by Fergie’s left lead, a solid, stunning shot to her face which has her backpedalling, and the American follows her up, moving the kid to the ropes, unloading four, five, six big shots to her pretty face, but that’s the bell.

Hard to say who’s round, Vanessa landed more punches, but Fergie’s few were much harder.

Round 2

Blinking hard, Vanessa gets across the ring quickly, and she is still pumping out that right jab, gaining confidence a Fergie just sways around, but the American is inching forward, and she gets close enough to rip a left hook from low on her hip right into Vanessa’s face, then gets the same leverage on a right, the girl’s knees have turned to jelly, Fergie thumps her face back with another of those straight lefts, then that right hook again – that’s it! Vanessa won’t be getting up from that punch for a while!

Fergie knocked Vanessa White out in round 2, putting the She Devils 4 – 0 ahead.

After the fight, Fergie is low key, “Not a fight I would have taken, except there’s no choice when it’s a drawn match-fight! Poor kid had no chance with me – but she’s young and I’m sure she’ll improve. I’m enjoying the support here tonight, too – glad I’ve signed up for BBU America!”
