Match number 2 should be interesting. Michelle has beaten Brittany Snow, then been well beaten by Fergie, whereas Rachel has two impressive knockout victories to boast from the series to date, and must be considered the favourite.

Pre-match, and Rachel is talking herself up, “These Brits can’t handle me – simple as that! Keegan will go down – no problem!” Michelle is smiling, “Rachel’s good, but not as good as me! This will put us level again!”

Round 1

Rachel starts confidently, strongly, and she is very soon using her experience to move the younger Michelle around the ring, her hard jabs worrying the Brit already, and she is forced to hold on when they get up close. Parted by the ref, Michelle lands a punch on the break – one of her slightly round arm leads – and that seems to confuse Rachel at first, allowing Michelle to land a few decent shots to her body, but the American recovers by the bell, and she is the girl landing the crisper punches.

An aggressive start from Michelle, keeping the action at close quarters, wanting to swap body punches with the older girl, but she finds Rachel’s defence equal to anything she can throw at this point, and is beginning to get herself backed up to the ropes a little to much, with Rachel getting her accurate left jab smacking through her guard, then Rachel finds a right hook, which crunches into Michelle’s mouth and puts the youngster down, shocked and stunned for a 7 count. Up again, Michelle goes looking for Rachel’s body with wild hooks, and the American just absorbs those on her arms and gloves, still having time to land her own blows to the Brit’s face, which is starting to lump up around the eyes.

Michelle’s tactics to date have not worked, and she now seems to want to box Rachel instead of brawl with her, trying to jab and move, jab and move. But Rachel is not going to be outboxed by a girl who is more of a puncher, and she just picks Keegan off with her sharp left jab, jolting the girl’s head back, now she follows up with her right, thudding it into the Brit’s body, Michelle’s mouth dropping open as she squeals, Rachel then lands a hook to her face, smacking hard into her cheek, putting her down, and it’s a struggle for Michelle to be up at 8, not looking good as Rachel gets to her again, a relentless battering of the younger girl’s proud rack to end the round.

Round 4

It’s a bruised and battered looking Michelle who gets off her stool in the fourth, both of her cheeks swollen, and Rachel shows her no mercy, giving the girl’s body a working over, jabbing her face, almost setting her in the position she wants her, then, just as she did with Nikki Sanderson, Rachel lands a big right uppercut to Michelle’s chin, and the girl sprawls against the ropes, gently sliding down them to the canvas – no need to count – she’s out!

Rachel Bilson knocked Michelle Keegan out in round 4 to put the She Devils 2 – 0 up.

Whilst a badly beaten Michelle is being attended to, Rachle Bilson is telling Denise van Outen, “That girl was just so full of herself before this tournament, and I was determined to give her a real good beating tonight – she know her place now, and so will the rest of her team, cos we’re gonna win this thing!” Bravely, Michelle comes to the ringside, “Rachel was too much for me on the night – can’t deny it, she hammered me!”
