BEFORE: "It's kismet, right?" Minka says in prefight, "Me and Rachel pairing up, after I smoked her the last time we fought? I'm excited to double up on her. I know it's going to be tuff, but after last time, I know I can outwork her, and most importantly, I know I can hurt her. I was way more nervous last time out: this time, I just want to get at her, you know?" MacAdams under pressure - well aware that Minka's a 7 and 2 up and comer who would benefit mightily with another win over a former champ. "Minka surprised me last time," Rachel admits. "She's not strong, but she sets herself so sturdy, and commits so totally to her punching that she hits with everything she's got. I won't let myself lose to her again - not ever. I'm friendly with Minka out of the ring, but that's going to end once we're in there. There's no excuse for a Minka Kelly to be getting over on me." Rachel in tawdry baby blue twist-tie bikini top/hipster-fit bottoms for a sort of smutty retro look; white gloves; auburn curls about neck length, with sexy forelocks dangling in her eyes. Minka in pink bra and panties; white gloves; curly brown ponytail with ringlets framing face. Significantly, when asked to touch up gloves at midring, Rachel just shakes her head 'No', making rueful eye contact with Minka.

Patient, single-shot body-punching counters from Rache - MacAdams working Minka's feisty ribs - mostly with that chopping, sidearm right. Minka the busier beauty - out-throwing Rachel two to one, but Mac getting all the clean touches, really punishing Kelly beneath the jug-line.

R2: Rachel in sturdy peek-a-boo, letting Minka get off - blocking her - then answering. Swift, carving, sidearm rights take Minka in under left breast. Clubbing left hooks cuff Minka up top, swiping her brow. Clouting right/lefts buffett Minka's temples, punching her off-stance. Midway through - one such combo rocks Minka: follow up swinging right lands palm-down to jaw DROPPING KELLY TO HER BACKSIDE! Minka up blinking, lips parted for a staring 8: on comes Rachel. Classic brawny MacAdams beatdown at ropes: Rache squaring up, knuckling Minka's shoulders, ripping lefts and rights wide to breadbasket and flanks. Rachel pursing her lips as she leans forward to her task; Minka cringing, sitting in ropes, sponging up a tummy-full at the bell.

R3: Minka just too predictable: Rache in sturdy peek-a-boo, waiting on the lead right, then snapping off a quick hook to beat Kelly's hook en route. Minka chin-checked, staggered: she stumbles to her left, blinking, feet coming together. Rachel over to offence - dipping forward to sweep that sidearm/palm-down right hand cruel in under Minka's left breast, buckling Kelly's knees. Minka sobbing aloud, backing away in pain: Rachel steps-with - shows a little yo-yo right hand up the middle to spook Kelly - then steps into a gorgeous, tight little palm-down hook, taking Minka neat to chin. Head swivel Kelly - legs lock up stiff as she starts to sit backwards, then crashes flat-out to her back! Poor Minka twitching - right arm in the air as she's twisting to her left, eyes shut tight...ref pushes Rachel away as redhead's encroaching, nostrils flaring. That's it - Minka can't get off her back: KO3 Rachel McAdams in crunching fashion.

After: Rachel adjusting well - selecting a magnificent defensive posture with which to lure Minka in, then countering viciously for an early stoppage. "I'm a little peeved," Rachel mock-pouts in postfight, puffing a mischievous lock of hair out of her eyes: "She stopped me in two - so I'm still not TOTALLY satisfied with what I did here: Probably gonna take a rubber match at some point to sort her out properly. Be that as it may: I crippled her to the body, and that's a good sign. You look at my best fights and my title run, you see me working girls to the body. I'm getting back to that, and that's bad news for the other girls in this tournament
