Results: Lookout!; Story: Caspian & The Dollhouse

BEFORE:
Winnick smiling wide for the cameras as she enters the press hall early evening, looking fresh and confident after her recent win over Cardi B. The blonde takes a seat at the table and watches keenly as her opponent also makes her own entrance, the Mother of Dragons herself giving a short wave to reporters and fans as Emilia Clarke settles down into a familiar nest.

Girls cordial, acknowledging each other with curt nods. As the official press conference kicks off, Katheryn’s invited to speak first when a reporter directs a question her way:

"Last time I fought a Game of Thrones girl in the ring things didn't go well for me unfortunately....” The blonde chuckles. “Which reminds me....Natalie...if you're watching this...I want a rematch! Soon! But I digress...tonight I'm fighting the biggest of the GOT stars and I'm bringing my A game for team Vikings. Emilia is tough, but she seems to have lost some weight which might make things easier and - no offense - her subpar results this year are enough to make me pretty confident I'm going to win tonight. But I wouldn’t be surprised if she puts up a tough fight - let's see what you've got Khaleesi!"

Emilia’s smile drops an inch after those cutting words (which isn’t saying much), with Clarke still smiling yet everyone can tell it's a bit forced at this point, as she takes the mic to respond:

“Well, someone’s certainly gained a bit of confidence. I’ve always respected Katheryn, both as an actress and fighter. I’ve watched her performance and meteoric rise over the past few years and was rooting for her. Somehow, I’d always known I would get into the ring with her one day. If she wants to talk dirty though, well, I ain’t having any of that. I’m glad you’re so confident though Kat, because it will only make knocking you down a peg all the more satisfying. Bring it Lagertha.”

Ladies come together at the podium and despite the semi harsh words exchanged before, the two of them shake hands and share a few smiles. After posing for photographs, they head backstage for final preparations.

Fight night is promised to be an explosive affair, especially when we’re on Doll Ball territory, where anything and everything can happen. Fireworks go off first as their guest Emilia makes her entrance, striding down the ring in a dark purple sports bra and long black tights, black gloves on either hand as Khaleesi herself skips down the ramp with both poise and confidence, showing off her slim and more athletic figure compared to years past. She’s definitely been working on her fitness lately and hopefully it translates to a faster and more agile fighting from the 33 year old Brit. Next to emerge is the resident Doll herself, as Winnick steps onto stage with silver falling streamers and a mighty pyrotechnic display: she’s dressed in her usual all-white sports bra and boy shorts, showing off her fighting physique even as she’s approaching 43.

In the ring, referee calls both women to the center for the official rule rundown. Ladies shaking their limbs loose, eyes set on each other throughout this formal display. They bump gloves when instructed to and are sent back to their corners to await the bell. Referee signals for the start of ten rounds of Bantamweight action and HERE we go!

ROUND 1:
Kat with a reach advantage as she opens the fight with plenty of jabs thrown at the smaller Emilia. Smart strategy here to take things slow and steady, use every advantage at her disposal and try not to repeat the mistakes of some of her earlier fights that haven’t gone as well. Emilia however has also done her homework, staying out of reach of Kat’s punches as the smaller Brit guards against and moves well to avoid. Winnick definitely scoring hard on the arms but finding it difficult to break through this early in the fight, content with knocking test-punches into Emilia’s guard and seeing how things play out for now. Clarke on the other hand demonstrates her chops with a sudden counter-attack to Kat’s face, stunning the other blonde with a fast two-punch combo that stings into the nose late round. Yes, Emilia might be the smaller girl and underdog in this fight, but she’s definitely got some spunk to her name.

ROUND 2:
Kat gets lambasted in there - not sure what she’s doing wrong as she continues to eat punches to her face and body. The Doll picks up the pace of her attacks but still finds that her punches are hitting the forearms or missing entirely, with Clarke dodging well as the Brit plays the aggressor this time, wading in by slipping past Kat’s jabs and then punishing the Doll to the body with low, growling thuds to the tummy. A rare sight indeed for Winnick to go into retreat this early in the fight, with the Doll struggling to keep up with this lean and mean and slippery Brit, who just keeps on coming towards her. Winnick’s corner frustrated when the bell rings, with Carmen Electra doing her best to advise her girl on how to counter the spritely Brit.

ROUND 3:
And it works! To some extent - Kat moving faster this time, rather than forwards or sideways at Clarke, who resumes her aggressive tactics and barrels towards the bigger woman without any fear in her eyes. Kat moves more in tandem, catching Emilia on the forehead and lips with her longer hands stuck out constantly, jabbing at the oncoming Brit without recourse. Clarke as a result sees more trouble in pinning her opponent down, tummy swipes score and land but her other punches don’t trouble Winnick to her guard. Girls end up breathing hard at opposite sides of the ring towards the third minute, resting for a moment and thinking about the future of this bout, but Kat ends the round with a flurry delivered stiff to the Brit’s arms, finally displaying some of that power we’ve missed thus far.

ROUND 4:
Emilia, bless her soul, has the courage of a dragon - she ain’t intimidated one bit by the bigger Winnick, and charges in looking to score an upset tonight. But this time, Kat knows how to deal with her proper: blocks and weathers those punches into her arms, her body taking a few hits straight to the gut but none that have any power. Instead, Kat biding her time before unleashing her own counterattack: a wide hook delivered across the face of Emilia, which turns her head to the side like a matchbook stick - POWWW!! And OUCH indeed, as Clarke’s eyes go wide from confusion - she’s paid the price for underestimating her foe as another hook slams hard into the side of her head, throwing her off into the distance. Her arms are up and wobbly but she ain’t going nowhere! Kat roars in and blasts her repeatedly up top, finally sending the bewildered woman straight down to the canvas at the turn of the first minute! Ladies and gents, we have an early KNOCKDOWN in the fourth!

Clarke looks gobsmacked as she lies there on her side, spending the first few seconds of the count just turning over onto her back, her eyelids fluttering to the wind. Winnick looks concerned for a moment but quickly gets herded to her corner by the referee, who then begins and finishes the count in time for tea! Clarke barely lifts her head as she squints rapidly at the sound of the bell! It’s over!!

Official Decision: Katheryn Winnick defeats Emilia Clarke via KO4!

AFTER:
A modest celebration for yet another impressive win as Katheryn breaks into a smile before raising a steady hand to the cheers of the home crowd in the arena. The Dollhouse corner is of course ecstatic at this early victory tonight, with the much younger woman put on her back this early and easily as Winnick once again proves her stopping power is still alive and well despite her 43th birthday only two months away.

Emilia gets checked on by the medics for a possible concussion as Katheryn heads over to check on her status. Clarke gets the all-clear sign and helped to her feet moments later by her opponent, with the two blondes sharing a hug and words of encouragement whispered into each other’s ears.

Then, Kat leaves the ring amidst waves to her fans. She’s sprung a comeback this late in the year, and if this fight was anything to go by, her future will be very interesting going forward. She stops to speak to reporters by ring-side:
“I like Emilia a lot. She’s a total sweetheart and I’ll give her a rematch whenever she wants it. Next time she might surprise everyone. She’s in great shape. Me? Well, I’ve got a big fight coming up at the end of the month…Naomi Scott is on fire and I’m gonna stop her. Despite the setbacks I’ve had this year I’m still aiming and hoping for a title shot in the near future. I think I’ve earned it these last 3 years….don’t you?”
The crowd certainly agrees as the blonde receives a standing ovation in response, with the crowd starting a “WIN-NICK! WIN-NICK!” chant as a smiling Katheryn waves and exits the arena with the Dollhosue team right behind her.
