Before: From super fight to super fight—Dani takes on Lucy to headline a Boxing After Dark card out of New York City. Liu happy to oblige Fishel’s outlandish challenger after their first meeting—jokes during prefight: “Maybe I should sign a second opponent to fight the last 9 rounds!” Dani steamin’ by fight night. Fishel with a dusky blonde look, teal push up bra, blue on blue polka dot bikini bottoms—Liu with the sable-esque ponytail, black push up bra, red bikini bottoms. Hot little staredown, with Dani licking the tip of Lucy’s nose to nearly start a brawl before the bell.

During R1: Lucy with her hands at her stomach, moving Hamed style around Dani, but not leaping in with power, content to snap out backfist jabs from her crouch. Fishel able to cut off the ring in the final minute and hammer a shocked Lucy Liu to the hips and waist with wide rights and lefts to steal the round.

R2: Lucy still circling, bending deep at the waist to size Dani up for those looping uppercuts, but Fishel hanging back, forcing Liu t move in. shutout for Lucy. But Dani fighting smart, not walking in as much as usual, drawing Liu out of her fight plan.

R3: Dani crosses Lucy up, coming out this round very aggressive—cutting off the ring and able to fight off Liu’s chest from bell to bell. Lucy along the ropes, just can’t get Dani off her, and Fishel beats the meat around Lucy’s taut midriff with a carefree grin. Liu pushing, grimacing, wrestling up top with the stronger little pug, slows Dani down with clinches, but can’t go toe to toe this round as Fishel pockets points.

R4: There’s the old Dani. Fishel coming forward behind looping overhand rights and lefts, promptly walks into a dazzling right uppercut as Lucy times her perfectly. Liu giving Dani the shoulder, then spinning around the shaken blonde, is able to attack from angles, chopping in at Dani’s face as the youngster soaks up big damages early. Dani recovering to go cheek to cheek and score to Lucy’s body at the bell, but Liu takes the round.

R5; Liu consolidates the first half, continuing to break Dani down with bewildering movement, then leaping in to capitalize—catching Fishel as she makes her adjustments. A left uppercut from the ankles smashes Dani’s face flat as the crowd gasps, but Fishel soaks it up and finishes the round on her feet.

R6: Dani still coming forward, face looking puffy now from Lucy’s artistic bombs. Lucy stepping arounf Dami, clipping her with twirling left hooks, trying to walk the blonde into the right hand, but Dani still drilling Gattiesque body shots into the little Asian. Lucy busier, but the judges like the damage Dani does with haymakers to Liu’s stomach. Liu clutching her midsection at the bell, will not recover during the break.

R7: A much slower, flat footed Lucy Liu stands and grits out on the inside with Dani as Fishel walks the Asian around the ring. Dani outing a big-girl beat down on Lucy, using her full shoulder to good effect, nudging Lucy off balance, and banging Liu with crisp blows to the arms and body. Liu cringing from Dani’s left hook to the abs, but countering well with clipping left and rights uppercuts inside. Fishel’s round.

R8: Dani leaning on Liu, smothering her, and constantly pounding on hips, arms, chest and stomach. Liu with her hands across her belly, leans forward as Dani works the uppercut to the chest and chin, swatting at Liu with very compact strokes. Dani smiling, stepping back to cause Lucy to stumble forward as she leans, walking Liu into the sweet right uppercut to pulp the Asian’s face this round. Lucy wobbly butt at the bell as Dani runs back to her corner.

R9: Dani continuing to apply a blanket of fists to Lucy’s torso, Liu puffy eyed, flat footed, arms in, still bending at the waist, but although slipping Dani’s head punches, Lucy’s flanks and chest are taking dreadful punishment from Fishel’s churning combinations. Dani loving it when an exhausted Liu leans forward onto her—Fishel leaning her torso back to clip those sweet uppercuts, then lifting lefts and rights into Lucy’s chest as the Asian soaks up the punishment.

R10: Lucy retreating, looking discouraged as Dani storms forward. Liu touching Dani’s forehead with the left, turns over a blinding right to Fishel’s temple just inside Dani’s left hook and FISHEL IS HURT!! Dani reeling back on her heels, gloves down, eyes swimming is helpless as Lucy leaps in. Lucy bending at the knees, coming up from underneath in an attempt to take Dani’s head off with those flying uppercuts. Fishel getting beaten unrecognizable as Lucy levels her with big swinging rights and lefts—but Dani won’t leave her feet. After chasing the blonde around the ring, Lucy gets arm weary, and Dani still has fight left in her. Dani bodying up, digging with punches from her hips into Lucy’s belly as the Asian clinches lightly around Fishel’s shoulders to the bell. The decision comes back a stunner: Unanimous Duke Dani Fishel!

After: From the outhouse to the penthouse—Dani records a huge win, beating Lucy into defeat with a textbook pressure punching performance. Liu obviously counting on the knockout, got discouraged when Dani took those early bombs and kept coming. Fishel’s power packed body seemed the stronger in late rounds, bullying the brunette around the clinches, and withering Liu with body shots. Liu distraught with the experience of losing, makes wild accusations of cheating and bribery of officials against the Fishel camp.
