Before: Thirty-eight years old and a former runway model, 5'10" Angie Harmon is one of the legendary 'Law & Order Lawyers' whose in-ring exploits did much in the early days to give the sport of celebrity boxing "legitimacy" in the eyes of the viewing public. In 2006, Harmon beat Tricia Helfer to win the lightweight title, a title she successfully defended against Ashley Scott before losing it to Hall of Fame blonde, Charlize Theron. While it's the only FCBA title Harmon held, she's had titles in other organizations and has fought most of the top lightweights of her era - and beaten many ranked women between 1999 and 2007. She's only fought twice since 2007, but she's built on her FCBA reputation to carve out a moderately successful career as an apartment wrestler and catfighter - as well as starring in a current hit television show on a basic cable network.

Candice Swanepoel is a modern analog to Harmon; a former runway model, now one of the Victoria's Secret Angels at the age of only 22! She's had an unblemished record as a fighter - not having won a fight; not even her world famous exhibition against Charlize Theron at the South Africa World Cup earlier this year. What she did 'win' in that exhibition was Theron's recommendation to her new stable that they sign Swanepoel who Theron felt "had something." So far, her results haven't borne out Theron's optimism, however.

Both women slight of build, neither weighing in even close to 125. Harmon: modestly black two piece, lacy top, full coverage bottom, black high top shoes. Candice: blue lace Victoria's Secret bra/panties set; garter belt/stockings; blue slip-on rubber sole slippers.

During R1: Swanepoel comes up off her stool swinging. Working behind a classic jab while attacking with wide, often wild, right hands. Harmon, hands up, chin tucked; ducking inside the wide, sweeping arc of the blondes punching; scrubbing away at Candice's bodice to tidy her up for points in a surprisingly ho-hum first round...for a Swanepoel fight! Usually in Candice's contests, one or the other fighter has been down early. Fans edgy, uneasy in their seats, realizing fireworks are sure to come sooner, rather than later.

R2: Swanny again out all wild and crazy; looping shots with both hands our and around behind Harmon's shoulders. Rash, undisciplined attack ends up exposing blonde to short, jagged, inside body work in return. Swanepoel frowning as Harmon feasts on her perky breasts, smooth tummy and even tucks a couple in behind her elbows. While Candice isn't landing anything of significance, Harmon certainly not hurt - or even rocked so far - Swanepoel's non-stop wildness has one important advantage for her; she's chasing Harmon out of her stance and she's initiating the action so - through her sheer aggression if nothing else - Swanepoel holds Harmon to a draw in the round, so nothing's lost at least.

R3: Same again. Swanepoel starting to slow her work rate, setting up her punches more; maintaining a disciplined jab which makes the rest of her offense a lot easier. Still, like any beginner, Candice tends to get excited and lose discipline; going wild after landing a good, solid punch and breaking down in her form. Harmon, staying centered, landing in bursts; scrubbing up Candice's bodice; shoe-shining her bosom when Swanepoel lets her hands get too far apart. Still, Candice sweeping ever forward, taking the fight to Harmon who is having trouble getting any leverage on her punches backing up. Again, Candice's aggressing making this another drawn round.

R4: Shutout Swanepoel! Early overhand right connects, shaking up Harmon who starts bailing out; wide eyed; always retreating. Harmon looks spooked by Swanepoel's gambling, looping, punches. No longer willing, or able, to take advantage of the obvious openings. Whether she was more hurt than it appeared by that early punch, or is merely pacing herself is unknowable at this time. But clearly, the initiative has been firmly grasped by Swanepoel who doesn't look like she wants to give it up any time soon.

R5: Early lightening! Swanepoel lands big, clapping lefts and rights in the opening minute; stroking Angie ear-to-chin and clearly stunning her. Harmon reeling back to, then along the ropes; riding out the seemingly ceaseless flurry of leather the young blonde is capable of unleashing on her. Down the stretch, Harmon countering off the ropes gets caught again! Angie, cowering, face-in-gloves with her butt in the ropes; takes a sustained blistering body attack that eventually simply beats her to her knees! Swanepoel, arms raised, dancing away, hamming it up like a little blonde Kong. Candice back to the turnbuckles, watching as the tall, willowy, brunette pulls herself to her knees, then stands; gloves at her chin. Swanepoel's been punching almost non-stop for five rounds now and her arms must be humming!

R6: Non-stop Swannie! Swanepoel right back on her brunette; lathering up Harmon like she's a Cadillac in a carwash; hounding her to, then along then ropes with endless hooks to the body, breaking Harmon's aging frame down bit by bit. Angie punching back in spots, mostly off blocks of Swanepoel punches! Candice in her sixth fight, still pretty much a 'one trick pony' could be far more effective by reducing her work rate; placing shots; being more selective or varying her attack by doubling up her jabs or fitting in an uppercut every now and then (a punch she has yet to use!) Still, her jab IS effective and while her right needs to be delivered straighter from the shoulder, just the sheer volume of punches she can deliver has kept a respected veteran like Harmon on the defensive the entire fight.

R7: A sweeping right hand drops Harmon at the 30 second mark! Angie, spread-eagled and spellbound flat on her back. Former champ, in a display of her iron will, forces her herself to get up, but she's ruined! Swanepoel pours it into Harmon who is slumped against the ropes - lathering it onto the helpless brunette with blonde, lanky-limbed, fury. Finally, with Harmon no longer punching back, the referee steps in to stop it with 1:57 left. TKO7 Candice Swanepoel who 'breaks her maiden' at last.

After: Swanepoel beating (anyone) at this point in her development is considered something of a slight upset. That it was ex-champ Angie Harmon - still relatively well regarded and remembered for her victories over Helfer - makes it a bit of a surprise. But when a tall, bendy, beauty like Swanepoel can keep throwing punches practically non-stop for seven rounds against a veteran fighter, it's a good sign. Still, Harmon looked old tonight - or perhaps it was just the long layoff since her last fight and there was discussion of whether she'd been training properly given the distraction of her new hit TV show. Time will tell if this was Swanepoel turning the corner, or just a blip on the radar.

Whatever else it was, it looks like it's Swanepoel's first "Walk of Shame" and since Harmon's a former model herself, she knows what to expect as Candice struts over to her and, almost as if meeting her date at the door, holds out her hand. Angie takes it and lets Candice pull her off her stool, then she slips her arm around Angie's waist and they make a circuit of the ring hip-to-hip. Candice tossing her long blonde hair, pausing every so often to point out someone in the crowd; having Angie wave to them, acknowledging Swanepoel's position as her 'superior' by giving orders.

Back in Harmon's corner, Candice gives Angie an 'air kiss' then turns her face to the turnbuckles and gives the aging brunette's still tight bottom a few quick spanks...."for luck" Candice tells her, then pirouettes away and returns to her corner where Stone and Theron greet her with hugs and Candice gives a squeal of delight to celebrate her first victory.

Later: "That right hand in the fourth changed everything," Angie told the media later when asked about her 'poor showing against a girl without a win.' "It may not have looked like much from the seats," she said, "but I felt it. She rang my bell pretty good. Got me high on the head and I was seeing double for a couple of seconds. Took me a while to get myself back together. Let me tell you, the girls got heart and she's not afraid to expose herself a little to lay on some hurt. So don't sell her short; she's not your typical lingerie model...I wish she were."

Candice can't stop grinning postfight. "I beat someone AND I got to walk Angie Harmon, how great is that!? She's classy and I can't think of anyone whose name I'd rather have on my resume as my first pro victory. I mean, years from now, when I'm showing my children pics of people I fought, I can show them DVD's or whatever they'll have then, of Angie on 'Law & Order' and 'Rizzoli & Isles'. Hey, maybe - if I get my acting career going - we could do a film together?"
