Kara struts around, “Well this fight to make it 3 – 0. And the poor birthday girl is right here to take her punishment – Sorry, Bulgar, but I’m not gonna make this easy for you!” The younger girl grins, “Easy – I thought you always made it easy – or is just that when you’re one on one with a man?”

Round 1

Kara is lovely to look at, it’s true, but the taller Nina is a real boxing prospect, and her left jab is soon finding Kara’s face, the shorter girl trying to get her own right lead through Dobrev’s guard, but she’s just getting picked off, Nina almost casual in her jabbing of the Brit’s pretty face, wiping the odd right hander across her mouth too, just to keep her at arm’s length. Kara needs to do something – she gets inside Nina’s guard at last, taking a good shot to the mouth to get there, but she exposes the younger girl’s body, and thumps her with right, left, right to the midriff, and the Bulgarian is grunting – acknowledging the pain – her back hits the ropes, and her eyes are wide with surprise as Kara lifts her head up with an uppercut, making her hold on. The ref breaks them quickly, but Nina has her composure back already, thuds a left jab into Kara’s mouth, then nails the girl’s cheek with a right hook, and Tointon’s down – closing seconds of the round, and up at 7, shaky, Nina gets her in the guts with a left, takes the wind out of her, but the bell saves her from almost certain first round defeat.

Nina’s round, especially with the knockdown.

Round 2

Kara’s mouth is already seeping blood - those lips puffy – and Nina quickly livens them up with a bang, bang, bang barrage, then fires a cruel left under her guard, really hurting her to the body – Kara’s squealing – and the Brit is cowering in the corner, waiting for Nina’s onslaught, but the Bulgarian pauses, hands held low, then, instead of finishing Kara off, she hits her around the body instead, punishing her for her trashtalking, slowly picking her punches, hitting Kara wherever the battered girl leaves a gap in her defence, and she falls to her knees after the bell has sounded, crawls to her corner, and is sick in her bucket.

Nina’s round – horrible!

Round 3

Nina has received a lecture between rounds about her behaviour, so wastes no time in attacking Kara at the start of the third – she bangs the girl’s head back with a left, stuns her with a right to the temple, then just finishes her off with a hard, straight left, Kara’s eyes shut before her back hits the canvas.

Nina’s victory brings the score to 2 – 1 to Samia’s girls, but the way she beat Kara up before knocking her out is not making her popular.

Nina just laughs at the post-fight interview, “Of course I coulda knocked the b###h out in the second, but she’s gotta learn not to be rude about people – especially visitors to her country!” A dazed, weeping Kara whispers into the microphone, “She made her point – but she’s no flyweight – she’s bantam”
