Ready for the deciding bout, and Samia snaps, “I promised you I’d finish you quick, and I will! You’re looking like a b###h who’s longing to go home!” Shiri just sneers, “I’ve heard enough of your lip – that’s why I’m gonna fatten it up!”

Round 1

Samia is one pretty little babe, but Shiri is a nice-looker, too. It’s a shame that at least one of these girls is likely to end up with a bruised face tonight, but neither girl is thinking like that, with Samia swiftly getting inside Shiri’s lead and landing some neat hooks to her body, before the girls swap leading punches, Samia’s left against Shiri’s awkward right, the American looking to use her extra height and reach, with her jabs finding Smith’s forehead with the little Brit getting more pleasure from jabbing the older girl’s mouth, and she traps her on the ropes, hits her to the body good and hard, Shiri squeaking as the blows land – she’s hurt – but Appleby comes back! Good left hook to Samia’s mouth has the Brit backing off, then she manages to drill two right jabs straight through her guard into her nose – bell ends a good round.

Too close to call – maybe Samia’s if pushed.

Round 2

Solid right jab to Samia’s mouth to start the round off badly for the Brit, Appleby knocking her to the ropes, looking to get her to the body, but Samia drives her own left jab hard into the taller girl’s cheek, then thumps her in the ribs with her right hook, turns the girl, then hurts her to the body with left and right hooks, Shiri holding on, pushing down on Samia with that 2 inch height advantage, trying to outmuscle the Brit. The girls are parted, and it’s a smiling Samia who takes the initiative again – good right hook to the flank – and Shiri is hurt, drops her left arm, then gets nailed with a right hook to the ear, and she’s down, rolling over and struggling back to her feet at 6, the ref waving Samia in, and the girl is going for it – all Smith for the final seconds of the round, banging punches into Shiri’s body.

Round 3

Samia quickly back into her stride, landing her left and right hooks to Shiri’s ribs and midriff, the taller girl again combating her my outmuscling her if she can, looking to tire her out, forcing Smith to push her away, use up some energy, use up her strength, and she hits the smaller girl when the ref breaks them, clipping her mouth with that sharp jab, rocking her head back, then she brings the left hook in again, wiping it across Samia’s face, and again – Smith is stunned, and now Shiri does what she should have done from the start, keeping the younger girl at bay with that longer reach, popping accurate right jabs in her face, reddening the girl’s skin up for her, then she hurts Smith with a left hook to her right tit, getting her again with a hook to the guts, and it’s Samia who is happier to hear the bell.

Round 4

Keen to re-establish herself, it’s Samia on the attack again, getting inside Shiri’s reach again, and hurting her to the body – again the older girl leans in, still trying to tire the little Brit, who is red-faced with effort and the effect of those accurate jabs. Again the ref parts them, and again Shiri starts to get her tactics right at the second attempt, landing those right jabs in Samia’s face again and again, cheeks, nose and mouth taking the brunt of it, then she fires a lovely left hook/cross into Smith’s face and floors her, the younger girl groaning on the canvas, blood trickling from her nose, up at 7, but unsteady. Appleby is tempted to mix it now she’s hurt her girl, but she just picks the Brit off with that right jab again, hurts her with a two, three, four punch barrage to her little boobs, gets her on the ropes, and there’s that big left hand again, smashing into Samia’s face, putting her back on the floor – she’s hurt, and she’s smeared in blood, but she gets up again at 8, spends the final few seconds of the round getting his to the body as she cowers on the ropes, then slumps to her stool at the end of the round.

Shiri takes the round – big-time!!

Round 5

Samia looks bad as she gets up for the fifth - her mouth is bleeding, her nose is bleeding – but she is still feisty, and she takes the fight to Shiri, looking for the taller girl’s body again, and finding it! Smith gets inside the taller girl’s guard again, and she’s punishing her to the body, weakening the taller girl. Shiri is still trying to lean on Samia, but the little Brit isn’t pushing her back now - she’s hitting her in the guts with left hooks, right hooks, stepping on her toes, just doing anything to rough her up. Appleby is frustrated – she pushes Samia back, looking to hit her from range again, but those bodyshots are sapping her energy, and Smith is getting to her – good solid left to the belly, hurting her again, putting her on the ropes – Shiri’s jaw is dropping open with fatigue, and Samia wipes her face back and forth, and she’s got the older girl hanging on at the bell, tired and dribbling.

Samia’s round again – Shiri is exhausted!

Round 6

Shiri needs to box again, and she’s trying, but Samia gets to her inside again, shrugging off that weakening right lead, making the older girl gasp with pain every time she lands a shot – and she’s landing plenty. Appleby is on the ropes, taking punishment to her body, knees wobbling – but she comes back – older girl rips that left across Samia’s face again, and now she’s slumping into the American’s arms, holding on, wrapping the taller girls arms up, leaning on her, tired but still fighting.. Both girls are bruised and bleeding as the ref parts them, but it’s Samia again, landing to Shiri’s gut, and again, then another – Appleby hits the floor, sobbing, on all fours. Pushing herself to get back up for the sake of her team at 8, then getting a lovely left jab in the mouth, her head bombing backwards, greeted by a right hook when it bobs back, snot, spit and blood, puffing over the ref’s shirt as he gets in close, and she bumps into him as she falls to the canvas again, this time for a 6 count, wobbly as she rises, not really sure where she is. Samia can finish this, surely? Not time though – bell rings as she thumps the older girls belly yet again, creasing her up.

Round 7

A sluggish Shiri clambers off her stool, and she’s greeted by another belly punch from Samia’s hard left hand, then gets straightened up by one, two, three jabs – Smith’s setting her up for it, and here it comes! Right uppercut, smashing into the American’s face, flooring her, blood splattering from her nose and mouth – she’s on her knees – she gets up – she’s no idea where she is (or who she is!) and it’s over, the ref can’t let her take any more, and takes the poor girl to her corner.

Samia’s Samurai beat Dani’s She devils 3 – 2.

A withdrawn Samia is too tired to celebrate overmuch, “Tough girl – I said she’d wanna go home – I hope she doesn’t! We’re 1 up in the series, but wow, these Yanks are ####in’ tough! Only thing is, Dani Harris – I’m one up, b###h, and’ I just hpe we’re gonna face off before you piss off across the pond!” A weeping Shiri bleats, “I thought I had the little shit beat! She’s tougher tha she looks – but I’d love a rematch – love it!”
