Lucy Pinder vs. Hannah Davis

Lucy Pinder: 37 years old, 5’5”, 13-28 FCBA & BBU combined since 2006, This Is Glamour

Hannah Davis: 31 years old, 5’10”, 7-10 since 2016, Fates Boxing

Before:

“So I’m supposed to fight a girl five inches shorter than me?” Hannah asks, “I’ll do it, but is this really the best the FCBA has to offer to a cover girl?”

“Oh please,” Lucy responds. “I’ve fought girls bigger than you. I’m not afraid to take on anyone, no matter how big or small.”

The two brunettes get into a heated back and forth as it is clear they are ready to settle their differences in the ring.

Come fight night, Hannah Davis is the first girl to make her way to the ring, removing her robe to reveal a teal bikini set with matching gloves, her hair up in a bun for the fight. Davis paces around the ring as she waits for her foe to make her way out. Lucy Pinder follows quickly afterwards, the smaller Brit not even bothering to wear a robe to the ring. Pinder has donned a purple bikini set with black gloves for the fight, and gets right into Davis’s face – well – a few inches below her face, but she’s not afraid of standing up to the bigger girl. The ref asks the two to touch their gloves, which, after a brief pause, they do, before heading back to their corners prior to the bell.

Round 1:

Hannah may have a five inch height advantage over Lucy but the Brit charges her American counterpart, sidestepping a left from Hannah and drilling the Fates girl in her face, snapping her head backwards! Pinder slams a left into Davis’ jugs that hammers the younger girl back into the ropes and the crowd goes wild as Pinder takes it to the bigger girl! Lucy is just teeing off on Hannah’s body, pounding her ribs and chest until Hannah shoves her away, earning her a finger wag from the referee. Pinder comes right back at Davis, tagging her ribs, but this time Hannah is ready and buries leather into Lucy’s body, finally landing her first shot well into the second minute. The two girls start circling as Pinder wants to stay out of Davis’ range while the latter wants to prevent Lucy from darting in and the bell rings in the end of the round, with Pinder coming out ahead.

Round 2:

Plenty of shouting in the Fates corner as Ana Beatriz Barros tells Hannah Davis that she better pick it up or lose to a girl who’s quite a bit smaller. Davis charges at Pinder, taking a shot to her mouth in the process before bullying the smaller girl back with two shots to her ribs. Lucy blocks a third strike and strikes back with a right of her own to knock Hannah backwards. The two girls start circling each other, with Hannah lashing out more than Lucy, but Pinder shows that she’s not inexperienced in fighting girls who are much taller than she is and gets a solid blow back to Davis’ face. Hannah backs off and baits Lucy in with a left feint that opens her up to a right from the model. Davis hammers a left into her foe’s chest before the round comes to an end. Hannah comes back to even everything up on points.

Round 3:

Pinder and Davis start out the third by circling each other, with Hannah jabbing at the smaller girl as she chases Lucy around the ring. Pinder dodges a right jab and slips a left past Davis’ gloves, getting her in her nose, knocking the bigger girl backwards. Lucy advances and slams a right into Hannah’s jugs and follows up with a left to her ribs, steadily working on the American’s body. Davis quickly retreats out of Pinder’s range before cautiously feinting with a left, baiting her foe only to strike her with a right follow-up to her body. Pinder retreats and the two girls resume circling each other, neither one truly committing as they both look to punish a mistake from their foe, but don’t get the opportunity. The bell rings to bring the uneventful third round to a close, and both girls go back to their corners.

Round 4:

Hannah has seemingly had enough of Lucy’s resistance and charges the smaller girl, plunging leather into the Brit’s ribs. Pinder takes the blow and smacks Davis across her jaw and Hannah’s unsteady on her legs! Lucy drills Hannah with a straight follow-up right and the American girl is covering up as the British girl is bodying her into the ropes! Lucy gets into a quick rhythm of blows to Hannah’s body, the striking of leather against the younger girl’s body echoing throughout the arena as Lucy forces the bigger girl into the ropes, where Pinder continues bodying Davis. Hannah struggling to find a response and she eventually just wraps up the smaller model forcing a break. The referee peels the two girls apart and once the fight resumes, Hannah timidly places her jabs, warding the smaller girl off, but that doesn’t stop the judges from noting that Pinder easily won the round on points.

Round 5:

Lucy slowly gets out of her corner while Davis charges the smaller girl, digging a right into the smaller girl’s chest. Pinder hammers a right of her own into Davis’ jugs in return before Hannah snaps her head backwards with a vicious right haymaker and gets doubled over by a blow to her midriff and Hannah goes to town on Lucy! Davis churns out the rights and lefts into Pinder’s body and the British beauty is struggling to hold off Hannah! Lucy is retreating, guard up and just trying to avoid getting slammed into the ropes. Lucy strikes out with a right at Hannah’s head as she tries to stop the beating but gets clobbered by a left into her cheek and she nearly goes down! Pinder covers up again to protect her head just in time to block a right Davis sends at the Brit’s head. The bell rings and Pinder looks exhausted as Davis trounced the smaller girl by shutout!

Round 6:

The fight enters its back half as Hannah looks stronger and stronger while Lucy is visibly hurting. Davis drills a right into Pinder’s guard before swinging with a left that misses Pinder’s head. Lucy pops Hannah back in her jaw and the model is stunned! Pinder sees her opening to get back into the fight and hits Davis with a right hammer, knocking the bigger girl backwards! Hannah in retreat as Lucy surges forward, throwing out a right hook – and stopping in her tracks as Hannah plants her feet and clocks Lucy with a right to her chin before sending in the left uppercut and down goes Pinder! Hannah Davis stops her foe’s momentum in an instant and backs off to let the ref start the count. Pinder is dazed on the canvas, trying desperately to get back to her feet, but she just doesn’t have it in her legs before the ref hits ten. Your winner by KO6, Hannah Davis!

After:

Davis rolls out of the ring and heads straight for a mic.

“Are there any other Brits who want to compete with me?” She asks, “Preferably not a bantamweight fighting me, a welter, but I’ll take anybody.”

Davis leaves Pinder in the ring, not even bothering to check in on her defeated foe. Hannah doesn’t even make an appearance to the press, seemingly having made her point. Lucy eventually talks to the press, and like Davis, keeps her remarks short.

“I don’t care that she’s taller than I am. I’ll still beat her.” Lucy pauses, “So Hannah, if you want a rematch, I’ll be ready.”
