Intro:
We have a clash between a up and comer against a legend in the ring, Mandy Rose kicked off her boxing career at last years Boxermania, can she make it two and zero in the ring against the icon of women's wrestling Trish Stratus.

Last year Mandy fought Penelope Ford; beating her in six rounds, since then Mandy has been busy in a WWE ring trying to claim her first title there, now teaming with Dana Brooke to chase the women's tag titles down.

Before this fight the FCBA Network's Alicia Atout got a chance to speak to Mandy at her gym, Mandy wearing a white sports bra, white tight shorts, with a towel over her shoulders from her workout moments before as she glistens in sweat.

"2020 was a strange year to say the least, I have had some highs like becoming great friends with Dana, I loved boxing Penelope last year and I feel in amazing shape, the lows are well.. Not worth mentioning" Mandy says before wiping her brow.

When asked about her feelings on this fight, Mandy answers "god I mean this is Trish we are talking about, I grew up watching her in the wrestling ring and then in the FCBA ring, when the people running these events asked if I wanted to be the one to fight Trish, I was gob smacked at first (laughs) but now the shock has worn off, this is a great fight for me, I can test myself against a great who still works her butt off to be in amazing shape" an excited look crosses Mandy's face.

Then she stands up to flex for the camera, before finishing by telling Alicia "you know how fit I am, Trish I love you but I am not coming in the ring to respect you, I am coming to put your lights out to show I am coming through the ranks to be the best" nodding to Alicia before she heads off to shower.

Trish meanwhile talks to Alicia in her home, sitting a room with her trophies from her bikini competition days to WWE women's titles hanging on the wall, Trish giving Alicia a quick tour in her black tank top and jeans, showing off her impressive abs.

When she is ready, Trish tells Alicia "I honestly thought about retiring but I just can't seem to yet, I have that urge to step into the ring with these young fighters from my sport, people may look down on wrestlers but look at how impressive the ones who have come through the ranks are, no longer can they be disrespected" the Canadian legend says with some fire in her eyes.

"At the same time though I need to prove something, I asked the Boxermania organisers could they put me on the card this year, they found Mandy to fight me, on paper I know she is younger by fifteen years, she is active in the ring, but you know what Alicia? I am not going in the ring to simply teach her how to be a better boxer, I am going to give her the shock of her life if she takes me lightly" a stern look on Trish's face.

Then she surprises Alicia as she strips off her top and jeans to stand in a black bikini, fully showing off her body that looks simply ageless with her yoga training, finishing her statement by saying "Mandy you aren't the other one in great shape, expect a war because I am bringing the heat" Alicia looking awestruck to be around Trish like this.

Fight night first out the curtain is Mandy Rose, who unlike the first two fighters tonight is wearing a gold coloured bikini and matching gloves, commentary told that Trish requested this attire to maybe prove to the world that she matches up with Mandy body to body, Trish certainly has her work cut out matching the woman dubbed the "Golden Goddess" after all.

Climbing into the ring, Mandy flexes for the cameras as she winks on her way to her corner, where her coach ties her blonde locks into a ponytail as her friend Dana Brooke is also working her corner, offering her support as they hug.

Now out comes Trish to her famous music, she gets a loud cheer as she comes out wearing a black bikini with purple trim, purple gloves on, she points to each side as she stands at the top of the aisle, getting loud roars where she points to.

Once she enters the ring she bows to the crowd with a big smile, getting serious when she reaches her corner, hair tied into a ponytail too as she bangs her gloves together, looking a little anxious to get started.

When the fighters come together at the center, they square right up as the crowd is stunned by the beauty in the ring, both women are strong as they don't blink, any respect is taking a backseat for the moment as they try to intimidate their opponent.

After being told twice to touch gloves, they do so with a crack of leather as it seems like they are firmly locked into competition mode already, two alpha blondes used to commanding attention in any room they enter, needing to share the spotlight for the moment as both get loud cheers from their supporters, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
Each looks a little cautious as they fight around the center of the ring, Mandy looking a little tense at the prospect of fighting a legend it seems, Trish maybe worried about the power of her younger foe as they throw probing punches to test their opponent out.

Trish is the one to throw the first heavy leather with a clean jab up top, she then swings in a left/right hook combo to the body before moving back out to range with her fans cheering, Mandy nodding at Trish as she comes after her.

That seems to set things off now as they trade more punches, Trish looking good with her upper body movement allowing her to dodge then strike through the gaps left Mandy's defence, especially targeting straight into her mouth as she looks to test her chin.

A jab that smacks Trish on her nose moments later allows Mandy to land her best punch of the round as a right hook smacks Stratus to the side of her head, that sends Trish stumbling a step as she feels that power of Rose.

Who backs up Trish to the outside of the ring, the switch seems to have turn on for Mandy, ripping in body shots as she crowds Trish to a neutral corner, the Canadian beauty grunting out as she tries to protect herself, Mandy nearly landing an uppercut just before the bell rings that looked to have real knockout power behind it.

Stepping to their corners, both can take heart with some of the control they had, Trish getting an idea of what she has to overcome to win this fight, Mandy tapping her toes as she is up for this now, not looking as tense.

Round 2:
Doubling up her jab as she moves around the left side of Mandy, Trish showing off her boxing skills that got her recognition in the FCBA over the years, Mandy gritting her mouthpiece as she tries to catch the slippy Stratus.

Who swings in some hooks to the body when Mandy misses with some wide hooks of her own, making the powerhouse grunt out then stepping back to the outside, not wanting to be drawn into a firefight.

Mandy takes a full minute to start lacing Trish with some cleaner shots, landing a jab of her own as she times Trish better, adding in two right hooks as she tries to press back the icon to the ropes.

Smartly Trish clinches up with Rose, forcing the referee to step in to split them up, Trish getting back into open space, where she goes back to that double jab, landing it square into the cheeks of her opponent, moving side to side to keep out the firing.

Final moments of the round sees Mandy crash a straight into the top of Trish's head, driving her onto the ropes as she digs into the abs of the former WWE women's champ, Stratus holding onto Rose as both women's toned bodies grind together, as much as they might respect each other, they are both spitting trash talk into each others ears till they are broken up.

At the bell Trish looks satisfied she outboxed Mandy, sitting on her stool nodding to her coach as she gets praised, Mandy shutting her eyes for a moment, as if trying to shut out what happened in the round to refocus herself.

Round 3:
Stepping back out her corner, Mandy is looking to close that gap sooner, leading to them trading more at midrange now, the crowd cheering louder as more leather smacks into stunning faces to give their cheeks a more pink hue.

The less experienced Mandy swings in a right hook when she thinks she has Trish set, it sails wide as Trish leans out the way, stepping in with two uppercuts into the body of Rose to back her up instead.

Switching her punches up, Trish is giving Mandy trouble as she targets the more gaps the rookie is giving her, Mandy gritting her mouthpiece in frustration, landing clipping blows mostly as she goes back into swinging power shots without the set up.

Past half way in the round and maybe hearing her coach yelling at her, Mandy starts to throw out her jab more, catching Trish more as a result as she takes the center of the ring, Trish looking to box off the back foot.

A feint with a right allows Mandy to catch her opponent with a left hook, turning Trish's head as sweat flies off, Trish backed into the ropes as Mandy hammers her abs, making the veteran have to hold onto Rose, again the referee needed to split them up.

Back to their corners, Trish has a mouse under her right eye from that powerful left hook that rocked her head, admitting to her coach that Mandy is for real, with the younger woman looking at her gloves, keeping in the zone as she gets washed down.

Round 4:
Slamming her gloves together as she pushes out her corner, Mandy is starting to look a more complete boxer as she fires out her own jab, both women start off the round in jabbing exchanges as they circle.

A one-two combo knocks back the head of Trish, she eats an uppercut that rocks her back as that definitely hurt her, Mandy pressing her back around the ring with more punches slamming through the mitts of the veteran to her face to send sweat flying.

Clinching up with Mandy, Trish is now gritting her mouthpiece, wondering what to do to keep Rose off her, they are separated by the referee, with Trish giving Mandy a push to make sure she has the gap between them she wants to start from.

Moving behind her jab, boxing off the back foot as she looks to regroup, Trish is marking up the cheeks of her opponent, even sneaking in some punches to the chest of the "Golden Goddess" to make her hiss out.

None of it though is enough to keep back Rose, who deflects a straight before stepping in with one of her own square into the face of Stratus, who finds herself hammered into her own corner, bum clenched as the body shots look to be ripping right through her.

When the round comes to an end Trish doesn't have to go anywhere as she rests her arms on the top ropes, not bothering to sit down as she takes in some deeper breaths, Mandy bouncing on her toes in her corner to show she is still fresh, her body glistening under the lights as she seems to be living up to her nickname.

Round 5:
Trish gamely comes back out to fight, Mandy quickly smacks her through her guard to knock back the legend, LEANING OUT THE WAY OF A LEFT CROSS, MANDY LANDS AN UPPERCUT THAT SENDS TRISH SPRAWLED ONTO HER BACK!

Mandy pumping her right fist into the air as she smiles to the crowd applauding her, 1...2...3.. Trish blinks as she stares at the lights, 4...5...6.. Barely moving as Stratus looks out of it, 7...8...9...10 that's it for this one!

Winner Mandy Rose KO Round 5

After:
An impressive knockout from the "Golden Goddess" Mandy, who shows her concern for Trish as she rushes over to check on her, all thoughts of victory in the back of her mind as she kneels next to Trish with Stratus's coach on the other side.

After a few moments Trish is helped to sit up, she tells Mandy "god you are like a truck" laughing as Mandy beams at the complement, both fist bump to show respect as Trish thanks Mandy for the fight.

Getting to her feet as Trish is checked on by the ringside doctor, Mandy blows kisses to the crowd as she heads to her corner, where she is met by Dana giving her a big hug, Dana yelling "oh my God! You knocked frickin Trish Stratus out!" Mandy nodding as if in disbelief herself at getting to actually fight and knock out an icon of wrestling.

Across the ring Trish is up on her feet to applause and cheers, Trish waving to the fans to show she will be OK, she is helped out the ring as the doctor wants to make sure that is a fact, Trish smiling even in defeat, she had good moments against a tough younger woman she can be proud of, though maybe it is time to try to fight more women in her age bracket especially with cougar boxing being a thing now.

As Mandy comes to the center of the ring, she jokes to the referee if this is real, getting her hand raised as the popular wrestler gets a loud cheer, her stock in wrestling and the FCBA is growing all the time, tonight another step forwards in the boxing ring.

Leaving the ring with Dana, the "Muscle friends" will probably go celebrate with champagne, how far can Mandy go in both the WWE and here in the FCBA?
