BEFORE: Beckinsale winning friends and influencing people in prefight, to wit:
- Engaging in a heated shouting match with Virginia Madsen. Exchange makes the rounds on morning talk shows and Robin Meade, with most commentators coming down on the side of Madsen.
- Slapping Laura Vandervoort, elliciting a passionate volley of blonde slaps in response. Cowering Beckinsale caught screeching for security on Youtube as Laura loses her temper.
- Several pushing contests with Rachel MacAdams and Dani Fishel as flashbulbs record the histrionics.

  1. "After I capture the tournament title, I shall be more than happy to pick apart the pack of mongrels that is the Foxfire stable," Kate huffs during one lull. "Fishel herself is a runtish little brute - battering her will be a formality. But the rest are little better, lacking in breeding, elegance, intelligence, and talent. Swine: that's what they are - grunting in the mud. It sickens me that I must sully my fists on such as these." Fishel having a good laugh: Beckinsale's high-hand has little effect on battle-tested little pug. "She's tall, I'll give her that," Fishel allows, "but a bowling pin is taller than a bowling ball - you know what I'm saying? I'm gonna roll on Kate and knock her down as many times as I have to. I assume she has no real intention of attacking the rest of us in turn: Kate's talking about ending her career if she goes through with a plan that nutty!" Becks in black bikini; small black work out mitts; scrappy ponytail with bangs framing face. Dani in gunmetal blue bikini; long dark hair down her back; small blue gloves.

During R1: Kate spritzing jabs, tapping Dani on the tip of the nose; dropping right hands to Dani's cheek in opening moments. Fishel bobbing up and down, arms crossed against her body, but Kate's good accuracy startling Dani: she's backing up under British poke. Fishel hits ropes: Kate jabs her face, hooks her tits, beats her to a swift right hand in close. Dani taking rapid fire clout on her face: she's a confused beauty...butt in ropes...facing into Beckinsale's punches. Kate: left hook claws tits; right hand chops across face; left uppercut picks up chin. Dani sputtering, right hand moving to her chest, stacked above left at her tummy. Kate: left hook to lips; chopping right between eyes...Becks staying compact, keeping elbows in, just switching into tidy, side to side clouts, clipping away on Dani. Becks knuckling her fists against Dani to prop her, then raking her over lefts and rights: crowd shouting as Dani absorbs more and better punishment - really taking a pasting by the minute mark. Right hand Kate Becksinale - chopping across Dani's face; right hand Kate Beckinsale; right hand Kate Beckinsale; left hook Kate Beckinsale, burying itself in Dani's ribs, just behind right elbow; right hand on Dani's left eye and THE REF STEPS IN! Fishel in shell-shocked stupor, blinking, started to blubber in protest: she's stopped via TKO1 not even two minutes into the first!

After: Beckinsale immediately over to the Foxfire corner, screaming down at Laura Vandervoort; drawing her thumb across her throat at Rachel MacAdams...security rushing in to prevent ring access to outraged beauties. Fishel in swoon, confused: she's just not getting traction yet in her comeback. "Dani's legs could be shot," writes one freelance columnist in Tractorpull magazine. "You never used to see her getting backed up early in fights, but she's having trouble holding her ground right now. Nobody has ever withstood the kind of punishment that young Fishel has throughout her career: we could be seeiing the premature aging of a once-terrific fighter in these ruinous engagements." Beckinsale echoing those sentiments in her in-ring postfight. "So much for the little bully," Kate preens, obviously delighted with the quick stoppage. "Beasts freeze before royalty - that's all that happened here tonight. Danielle Fishel got a look at Kate Beckinsale in full aspect, and submitted without firing a shot. As of this moment, I am the most dominant force in the bantamweight division, I..." on and on: Kate well and truly pleased with herself, letting America hear all about it ad nauseum.
