Before: Langton finally getting a bump from HBO. Billed as the next great brunette—and it’s not all hype. Sugar Ray Leonard fight-alike in the ring, quick hands, exquisite tming—what’s not to like? Daniel trying to translate her fearsome gym rep into the paid ranks, still scalded by the loss to Charisma Carpenter—she’s young, a potential blonde superstar, and working with Charlize Theron over the last couple of weeks probably hasn’t hurt.

During R1: Langton expected to box—SHE COMES OUT BANGING! Fists in tight to her chest, Brooke bites into Brittany with sharp lefts, tight rights, always snapping her hands back in close to her body on follow through—Daniel shellshocked, beaten the length of the ring under spanking digs to her belly and leftside of her head, Daniel besieged at the ropes, all covered up as Langton sets her hips and rips hooks to the ribs and BRITTANY GOES DOWN! Brooke with a lathering first minute leaves Daniel in tatters, face pinched in agony as she takes an achy 8. Langton wades in and gets STONED! Daniel with a beautiful roll and counter right on the jaw, sends Langton staggering along the ropes as prey becomes the hunter, Brit stalking, clubbing away at Brooke’s shoulders and head, then stepping in with the rising left to the jugs that has Langton heartsick,. Brooke beaten to a corner, hands at her lips—she’s bobbing, weaving on the spot, trying to survive. Daniel digs in, punching trunk and sack with savage left hooks as Langton goes into a stupor, just watching as Daniel laps her up. Brittany with a nice little shoulder rub turns over the right hand on the teeth and spills Langton senseless up against the ropes and THE REF JUMPS IN! TKO1 Brittany Daniel!

After: Stunning stoppage has signs of an early yank—but one look at Langton’s brimming eyes tells you different. Murderous trade reminiscent of Langton’s KO loss to Jaime Pressly 2 years ago—Brooke gambling on an all out assault and paying dearly as Brittany refused t be stampeded into defeat, Daniel finally getting to strut, beaming at an appreciative crowd. Langton all achy-whiny for a rematch, knows she let one slip away here. Brittany shrugs in response,

“Any girl wants a beatin’, they know where I am, If tonight wasn’t enough for Langton, I’m sure I can find something even worse for her next time. If she has any dignity left, I’ll be happy to take it from her.
