Charlotte Flair vs. Behati Prinsloo

Charlotte Flair: 33 years old, 5’10”, 10-3 since 2017, free agent

Behati Prinsloo: 31 years old, 5’11”, 11-11 since 2016, Fates Boxing

Before:

Charlotte Flair doesn’t waste any time going after Behati in the press conference.
“I mean, she strung together a couple of wins and then got a title shot because the welterweight rank is sparse. But come on, she used up all of her luck to get that shot and since then she has been allergic to winning. And now she is going against the Queen? It’s time that Fates learned that going for models with pretty faces isn’t a good strategy for winning in the FCBA. When I KO Behati, the least Fates can do is release her so she doesn’t keep on getting put to sleep and her money-making face wrecked in the process.”

Behati Prinsloo’s mouth is open, her eyes blazing as she struggles for a response. Eventually, she finds her voice and says one sentence. “B*tch, I will knock you out.” Prinsloo gets up and leaves, apparently having made her point. Meanwhile, Charlotte Flair is snickering.

At the arena, the crowd is electric after the previous three matches, and while everyone may be looking forward to the main event that follows this fight, nobody is using this fight for a break. Behati Prinsloo is announced first, the model making her way to the ring and removing her robe to reveal a pink sports bra with white gloves and trunks, her hair up in a bun for the fight. Charlotte Flair makes her way to the ring once Behati settles down. The wrestler has selected a silver top with matching bottoms and matching silver gloves, all coordinated. The women stare each other down and only touch gloves reluctantly before the bell rings.

Round 1:

Flair may not have fought in a few months, but given how she starts, you wouldn’t know it. Charlotte opens the round with incredibly powerful and fast punches, catching Behati off-guard. Flair quickly drives Prinsloo into the ropes and absolutely smokes the Namibian model with a right cross that would have knocked Prinsloo down without the aid of the ropes. Behati may have started out the year in promising fashion only to be on a downhill since her title fight in June, and she may be getting knocked out in the first at this rate! Charlotte alternating between head and body, giving Prinsloo no quarter as the Victoria’s Secret Angel desperately wraps her arms around the wrestler and clinches. Once the referee separates the two women, Flair goes right back after Prinsloo with powerful jabs, but this time, Behati is ready for her and counterpunches the bulkier woman. Flair still coming out on top as she chases Prinsloo around the ring until the bell, and Charlotte Flair takes the opening round on points, wide.

Round 2:

The fear of losing another match is written all over Behati Prinsloo’s face as she is in her corner and starts the second round. Charlotte Flair comes out strong to start the round, getting in close to her opponent and out-muscling the model, working her body with strong body shots. Prinsloo is scowling as she takes Flair’s blows and works to counterpunch, but Charlotte keeps it close to Behati and forces the model to play by her rules. The Namibian drops back and fires off a quick punch that slips past the American’s guard and into her nose. Flair is taken aback and now Prinsloo has some separation and starts to work her jabs. Even though her reach is only marginally longer than her opponent’s, when the two trade jabs, Prinsloo easily comes out on the better end of them, landing more punches. Charlotte dodges around the ring, dips left, and then pops a right into Prinsloo’s mouth as the round expires. It’s a close one with Flair bookending it, but Prinsloo takes it close thanks to her string of offense in the middle.

Round 3:

Both women are settling in as they start the third round out by circling each other. Prinsloo and Flair take their time this round, progressing at a much slower pace than before. Both women work their jabs, trying to catch the other with a quick blow past the other’s guard, but both women’s blows just bounce off the other’s guard with no effect. Flair the first to deviate from the circling as she shifts to her left and launches a right jab that grazes Prinsloo’s ear before following up with a left that catches the moving Prinsloo in her shoulder. Behati counters with a straight that sneaks its way through Charlotte’s gloves and into her face, but the Namibian model can’t really take advantage of the strike as she just clangs a couple of punches off of Flair’s guard before nailing the wrestler in the ribs before the two women return to circling. The round ends without much action as Prinsloo picks up her second straight round on points, close.

Round 4:

Charlotte comes charging out of her corner, feints with her left, and then wallops a deceived Behati with an absolute haymaker of a right. Prinsloo is driven backwards and she fends off Flair’s offense, but the blonde corners her opponent and starts plugging away at Behati’s toned model body, driving vicious lefts and rights into Behati’s body and leaving no way to break out, forcing the model to clinch. Once the two women are separated, Behati is actually the first one to strike her opponent, thanks to a solid left hook that catches Charlotte unawares, but Flair comes right back with a cross that smacks Prinsloo and forces her to retreat. Flair in the driver’s seat, placing her punches exceptionally well and imposing her will over Prinsloo, slowing the fight down to best take advantage of her power. Behati tries to up the tempo but Charlotte uses her power to stop the model’s ambitions until the bell. Flair comfortably takes the round on points, wide as the two women return to their respective corners.

Round 5:

Fates gives extra instructions to Prinsloo in the corner just before the rounds starts and the model nods before getting up. Charlotte jumps out first with a right but she totally whiffs as Behati bobs to her left and then connects with a one-two combo right to Flair’s chin and on comes Prinsloo! The model strikes Flair with a cross and drives the wrestler around the ring, hammering away at her blonde opponent. Charlotte throws out a right jab to keep Behati away but she lunges and Prinsloo connects with a cross straight to Flair’s jaw and down goes Flair! Behati quickly moves to a neutral corner as the referee starts to count over Charlotte. Flair lifts up and shakes her head as she looks to make it back to her feet. Prinsloo holding her breath as Flair props herself up on her knees. The ref counts eight. Charlotte tries to get up but falls back to all fours! Nine. Flair looks at the referee. Ten. Flair pushes herself up onto wobbly legs and clutches the ropes but she is two seconds too late as the ref already called the fight! Your winner by a narrow KO5, Behati Prinsloo!

After:

Flair arguing with the referee as she’s clutching the ropes to steady herself. Meanwhile, Prinsloo does not seem to care one bit about the ending as she’s posing on the ringposts, a wide smile forming across her face that her fans hadn’t seen her with since her last major win in June against Robyn Lawley. As Behati leaves the ring, Charlotte is still vehemently yelling at the official as she lets go of the ropes to follow him and nearly falls down. This one may be over, but if Flair has anything to say about it, there may be a rematch coming soon. But for tonight, Behati Prinsloo gets a big win for the first time in what seems to be an eternity, and now it is time for the main event.
