Elizabeth Olsen vs. Margot Robbie

Elizabeth Olsen: 30 years old, 5’5”, 25-22 since 2012, Fates Boxing

Margot Robbie: 29 years old, 5’6”, 24-19 since 2011, Chimera

Before:

On a card full of top fighters, this may be the match everyone is looking forward to the most aside from the main event. Elizabeth Olsen gets a shot at Margot Robbie of Chimera, and in the process, a hope for revenge for what she feels like was being poorly managed by Ginny at Ginny’s Academy. Lizzie comes into the press conference and gets straight to the point to make sure everyone knows she’s not playing games.

“It could be Robbie. It could be anyone else in the division. Hell, it could be anyone in the FCBA, I don’t care who. All that matters is that I win and prove that Ginny made a mistake in letting me go.”

Margot Robbie merely smiles and calmly responds, “I haven’t had any issues in working with Ginny, so Olsen is probably just too dumb to know what Ginny was trying to do. Now, I think she’s a solid mediocre fighter who will get you a .500 record, but she’s not in my class. I already dispatched her stablemate in Brie Larson, and I am going to dispatch Olsen and shut out the Fates bantamweights.”

Olsen is the first woman to make her way to the ring, wearing a white sports bra with matching gloves and black trunks. Lizzie’s eyes are locked on the ring as she walks towards it. Once Liz settles in, Margot Robbie emerges and walks towards the ring, donning a dark blue sports bra and trunks with red gloves. Robbie and Olsen stare each other down, their eyes never wavering from their opponent. The referee gives final instructions and motions for the two women to touch gloves, but Olsen refuses to. The referee waits but once he realizes Elizabeth won’t oblige, he calls for the bell and we are underway.

Round 1:

BAM! Olsen charges out of her corner to start with a big right that Robbie was not expecting and then quickly follows up into the blonde’s body. Robbie taken aback but fights back with a left to Olsen’s body. Lizzie backs off and Margot whiffs on a right that was heading towards Olsen’s head. Margot and Elizabeth size each other up and Robbie punches out with a right, that clips Olsen’s ear and the brunette rifles a punch straight into the blonde’s mouth. Robbie momentarily trying to catch her balance as she gets her gloves up just in time to take two powerful strikes from the brunette. Olsen’s initial punches bounce harmlessly off of Robbie’s guard but Elizabeth quickly shifts her focus to Margot’s body and pounds leather into her opponent. Olsen absolutely hammering away on Robbie’s ribs as she pounds her into the ropes and continues to slug the blonde as Robbie is forced to clinch with great difficulty. The referee separates the two women and the action resumes, but this time Robbie is avoiding Olsen at all costs, seemingly punching only when it is to halt a series of strikes from the brunette actress. The round ends with Olsen stringing together a couple of punches, solidifying her control of the round and, unsurprisingly, helping her walk away with the round on points, wide.

Round 2:

Margot Robbie warily leaves the Chimera corner, remembering Olsen’s aggression from the first. Elizabeth lets Margot hang back and the two women circle each other, jabbing at one another. Robbie uses her slightly longer reach to get to Olsen and the Fates fighter’s punches just aren’t landing as well in return. Robbie closes distance and turns her attention to Olsen’s body, and Lizzie recoils slightly. Margot swings a big right at Lizzie’s head but nobody’s home and Elizabeth finds two punches straight into the blonde Australian’s chest. Now Olsen is the one working her rival around the ring, but Robbie is putting up a heck of a defense. Defense meaning a good offense as she is almost going blow-for-blow with her counterpart, and gaining momentum as the round progresses. Robbie lands a solid blow to Olsen’s chin and halts the Fates fighter’s momentum just as the bell rings. Olsen may have gotten the better of the middle, but Robbie won the start and finish and takes the round on points, close.

Round 3:

The two bantams trot out of their respective corners to begin the third round and Robbie picks up right where she left off, picking at Olsen’s head and around the older actress’ guard. Lizzie keeps on looking for counters, but Margot keeps everything nice and tight, leaving almost no opportunities for her slower opponent to counter. Olsen keeps her guard up and frustrates Robbie’s attacks at her head, but the blonde switches her focus to the brunette girl’s body, hammering away at Olsen’s ribs. The Aussie girl slowly works her American foe into the ropes thanks to her body shots and goes to town on Olsen’s legal flesh. Liz grimacing through the onslaught as she looks for an out and finds a brief window of opportunity to sneak a solid blow to Margot’s chin and creating just enough room to squeeze out of the ropes. Once she escapes, Olsen starts matching Robbie’s blows, but she only can do so for half of a minute before the bell rings. Lizzie with a dead serious look on her face after Margot takes the round on points, wide, and now Olsen seems to be unable to back up her trash talk.

Round 4:

For the third straight round, Margot Robbie is the first one out of her corner and goes right after Elizabeth Olsen. Robbie making short, quick, and efficient jabs, forcing Olsen to react and frequently on her back foot. Margot then feints with her left and slams a right cross into Olsen’s face, but Lizzie’s response is a big right of her own that catches Margot flush in the jaw and now it’s the brunette chasing the blonde around the ring off of a single punch. Robbie is working her jab as she’s backing around the ring, making good contact from time to time, but Olsen is now in her element, able to pick and choose her moments to strike with strong blows. Lizzie powers two punches right through her opponent’s guard, but Robbie doesn’t seem too fazed with her counterpunches landing back onto Olsen. The round grinds to a stalemate as neither woman is able to get her opponent to fight as she pleases by the end of the round. Olsen still is with a serious look on her face, even after she wins the round, close.

Round 5:

If there was any hope of the fight settling down, it isn’t going to happen in the fifth as Olsen charges out of her corner for a change, sensing that she has Robbie’s number. Olsen lands the first punch, a quick left, and then she follows up with a right that Margot blocks. Robbie pops Olsen with a straight right that sends the brunette staggering back into the ropes and Robbie starts teeing off on Olsen again, but this time, she keeps everything too tight for Olsen to counterpunch. Margot absolutely plunging leather into Elizabeth’s body, driving the air out of her lungs, and keeping her as a target until Olsen is finally able to clinch. Robbie works Olsen’s belly until the referee separates the two women. Lizzie glaring at Margot, who smiles mischeviously, before going after her opponent with almost reckless abandon, trading blows with the younger actress like she needs the knockout this round. Alas, Robbie doesn’t go down and she makes sure to go back to Olsen’s body, making the brunette wince and cover as the bell rings. The referee has to separate the two women as Lizzie wants to continue going after Margot after the bell, but the referee coaxes her into the Fates corner as Robbie smirks. Once the hubbub in the ring dies down, the judges decide that Margot Robbie won the round on points, wide.

Round 6:

Olsen looks to establish a slower pace as Robbie looks to turn up the heat as the two women enter the back half of the fight. Margot confidently steps forwards AND GETS ROCKED BY A RIGHT FROM ELIZABETH! Lizzie’s right came out of nowhere and now her blonde opponent just hopes to keep her guard up as she stumbles backwards and Olsen pounds away at Margot’s body. Lizzie driving leather into Margot’s chest and then she finds Robbie’s solar plexus and punches the air out of Robbie’s lungs. Margot’s guard splits apart and Liz slams a left through the open guard of her opponent and drops the Aussie! Olsen backs off but the ref barely counts to three before Robbie is on all fours and looking up at her opponent. From there, Margot takes her time to get up, doing so at the ref’s count of eight. Liz Olsen holds nothing back as she drives back at her battered rival, but Robbie is putting up a spirited defense, connecting with more than one shot that drops Olsen backwards. Liz slips a left past Robbie’s guard and it clips the blonde’s ear and Robbie prepares a hooking response until she howls in agony from a left buried right back into her solar plexus. Robbie flails as she nearly bends double and Olsen lines up one, two, three quick blows to Margots’ chin and down goes Robbie for the second time this round! Again, Olsen goes to the corner and this time Robbie really looks to be hurting. She tries to push herself up once, but her arms buckle and she drops back down to the floor, lacking the strength to try again before the ref reaches the count of ten. It’s over thanks to a strong six round and your winner, Elizabeth Olsen!

After:

Olsen runs over to grab a microphone after the mild upset, stares right at Ginny, and yells, “I. TOLD. YOU.” Olsen drops the mic, and parades around the ring, her arms raised like she just won the title. Meanwhile, the Chimera staff is attending to their fallen fighter, Robbie breathing heavily as she gets assistance standing and leaving the ring. Olsen has moved on to posing for the crowd, taking pride in her win – and, for the first time in a while, maybe regaining some momentum at bantamweight after beating someone who recently beat her stablemate Brie Larson.
