BEFORE: Classic Mish - pretending to admire Hayden's tank top at a pre-fight photo shoot, all the better to pull it over her head and land a few cheap hockey-fighting right hands while Panny's doubled over. Cue bedlam/heightened tensions thereafter. "Thought she needed some freshening up," Mish says in mock innocence. "Hayden needed a wake up call - a reminder that she's not in Disneyland anymore, she's in Hurtland, and I'm the mayor. Claire touched her up, now I'll BUST her up. Only way Panny's getting out of that ring is on a stretcher!"

Panettiere hot-cheeked, but staying seated: she knows job one is keeping Mish out of her head. "Claire boxed smart to win our close rounds," Hayden contends at podium, "Mishy doesn't have that option. Michelle's got to fight me for everything she wants - she can't do that cape-and-sword crap Claire does. And when a girl steps to me, and fights? Let's just say I like my chances. Against anyone!"

Panny in red/white fighting bikini; hair in tight battle bun; small white mitts. Mish in zebra print bikini with twist-tie top and retro-look twist-tie sides; small black gloves; hair in messy tousle.

During R1: Hayden in wide stance, shifting to her right, bouncing - always ready to scoot in or out one quick step. Mirror-guards: girls holding dukes at brows. Panny getting off - riveting jabs body/head; ram-stamping straight rights up the middle or slanting 'em down into Mishy's tummy. Straight, staccato punches from Hayd - usually 1-2, but often 3, 4 or even 5 at a time, while Mish covers. Williams glaring, stalking - occasionally banging back left/right in thick tic-toc sequences to Hayden's hips: always paying a stiff price as Panny gets off jackhammer salvoes in receipt. Mish cocky, cheeky throughout - at one point nudging a harmless, rangefinding left against Panny's brow, looking at the ref and saying: "How much more of this are you gonna let her take?" Hayden stays focused through the vaudeville routine - circling, penetrating, triggering stiff, sudden, straight power shots with both hands: Mishy touched up plenty and well in the first.

R2: Same again - Hayden rotating to her right, darting in and out, triggering sudden bursts of straight, ferocious punches, head/body. Mishy in relatively tight peek-a-boo, but still getting catching on her face: Hayden eerily accurate with these stiff combos. Mishy's body proving toned - flesh bunching up meaty under hard Panny-whacks: Williams able to withstand shellack, then beat Hayden's hips/flanks tic-toc in reprisal. Spotty stuff from Mish though: she can't force Panettiere to ropes, or get her out of her rhythm as Hayden tattoos her rival for more points.

R3: Same pattern - with extra wrinkles from clever Hayden. Panny dipping her head to the left as she slots the straight right up the middle, scoring on Mishy's mouth even while sidestepping Michelle's right flank. Tidy pum-pum-pum straight punch sorties into Mishy's jugs stamp those puppies: angry hooks from Mish in reprisal sweep air as Hayden's already scooting. Williams grimly walking Hayden down, trying to bring battle, but unable to secure terms: Panettiere getting off like a little blonde gatling gun takes her third straight. Smouldering glare from Panny at the break: Mish frowning, busting up nicely around that left eye.

R4: Close range - Mish able to strap a heavy left hook in behind Panny's right elbow - the girls' heads in close. Mishy shrugs the worlds shortest left uppercut into Panny's teeth, then mates it with equally compact right uppie - Michelle's elbows tight against her body as she's picking Hayden up. Panny feeling it, unable to answer right away - Mish able to lean forward, extend on strapping rights and lefts to waist to consolidate. Panny starts to trigger rapid fire straight rights and lefts, scoring healthily to face and breasts, but Michelle's in good position, answering heavy to body. Short shrug uppercuts a real find for Mish: she's picking Hayden up hard, starting to muscle the kid around through 4.

R5: Hayden won't be bullied, rotating to her left now as she slots straight right hands onto Mishy's mouth. Hayd getting off robusto - punishing Mishy up the middle with straight-punching sequences: Williams trying to block, but giving up a ton of scores to precious belly, breasts and chin. Hayden moving and punching like a champ, ringing Michelle up: Williams proving double-tuff, facing into the punishment, always looking to answer to the body in hopes of slowing Hayden down.

R6: First trip to the ropes for Hayden as Michelle unpacks the jab/follows up slinging right hands wide to the midsection, then crowds Hayden backward. Muscular, shrugging uppercuts work Hayden's chin at close quarters - Mishy's elbows tight to her body as she picks Hayden up. Panettiere furious off the ropes, whirling in palm-down lefts and rights: girls fighting in a cauldron as Michelle won't back off. Crowd roaring at the non-stop savagery: blistering stuff to either body setting up stunning connects up top. Michelle smart when smote - bodying Hayden into ropes, mauling her, then pushing off to refresh the attack: Panettiere never able to hurt Michelle long enough to get off-apron. Bell: swinging Mishy right hand takes Hayden tuff in her trunks...Panny bunches up hurt as Mishy gets a stern finger waggle from the ref.

R7: Hayden circling, getting off with trip-hammer lefts and rights...Poor Michelle titling forward into the storm, trusting the peek-a-boo to block at least some of the leather. Hayden's been working midsection via straight shots: now she's swinging in lefts or rights from the side, punching Mishy's paunch. Williams backing to ropes, fighting a desperate pocket engagement that sees both women clobbered: Mish able to spin-off, reverse Hayden into ropes, and besiege her in turn. Panny drubbed, then responding: Michelle reversed into ropes and worked over until she can find a way out. Crowd loving it as one or the other girl sags into ropes under sensational bombardment, only to turn the tide and batter her tormentress in receipt. Bell - Hayden on top, and she's not letting up - snarling as she whirls in lefts and rights to Mishy's aching ribs. Williams sobbing out, sitting in ropes with arms extended to Hayden's ribs, trying to push Panny off as the ref's moving in.

R8: Michelle's left eye nearly closed, face scuffed n' puffy: she redoubles her efforts to overwhelm Hayden. Panny bodied into ropes; tousle-scrubbed across her face; shoulder-butted in her mouth; forearm-smashed in her ribs...then Mishy pushes off to get room to work. Big, free-swinging licks Mishy to Hayden - Williams' tic-tocking her fists off Hayden's waist, before settling into repetitive thumping action of pumping rights to paunch. Gasping Hayden employing right uppercuts to chip at Mishy's chin: Foxfire beauty manages to reverse HISC bully into ropes, where a furious, scouring sequence of lefts and rights pastes Michelle's breasts senseless! Williams crying out, trying to clinch: Hayden bodies her upright, stays on the jugs, reducing them to fatty-packets of pure pain! Ref just about to stop the fight when Mish finds Hayden via right uppercut to chin: Panny stops punching, leaning in with forehead against Michelle's left shoulder - Williams groaning as she reaches under Hayden's arms to twist her into ropes. Back and forth - action slowing, but punches always heavy with hate. Williams working like a maniac - keeping the smothering/mauling sessions to a bare minimun in favour of good old fashioned punching pressure through 8. Break: Mish won't let Hayden up - ref has to pull 'em apart...Williams' left eye all banged shut; Hayden with a little nose-bleed as they separate glaring.

R9: Hayden dipping her head to the left while shooting that straight right: spanking knock spanks back Mishy's face, leaves her staring as Panny slides past the Williams right flank. Mish visibly slowing: Hayden setting a withering pace - constantly moving in open space, getting off in torrid, straight-punching bursts to shred Michelle's defence. Williams proving gutty - busting up under Hayden's hated touch, but still managing to advance: Panettiere doing a good job avoiding the ropes, turning either Mish flank to retain initiative. Bell: Hayden with a late right hand slap-chops across Mishy-jug...Williams bleating in protest, blonde curls hanging damp in her eyes as Hayden proves ornery as well as busy.

R10: Hayden willing to close and bang: fighters basically leaning in, getting off, hairline-to-hairline. Mishy with that dependable three punch combo: left hook to flank; short shrugging left uppercut tucked under Hayden's chin; short shrugging right immediately thereafter. Hayden gobbling - often against ropes - but proving durable: she answers back in torrid flurries - compact arms/brawny shoulders just churning out withering volume. Little blondes scuff it up toe-to-toe, neither backing off, though Mish owns time of possession at ropes, keeping Hayden pinned down more often than not. Bell: Mish banks a right hand insurance punch deep to Hayden's paunch, bunching her up "GUH!" It's enough to give Mishy the 10th, but not the fight as Hayden bangs out the duke.

After: Savage flyweight donnybrooking at its finest: Hayden's early lead holds up as fight's basically a stalemate once Mish stabilized. "Got the jump on her, beat her up," Hayden summarizes in postfight - face all puffy and tender from Michelle's clubbing work. "She's a good scrounger - time and again, I thought I had her, only to find her rooting around in my tummy or ribs for more points. Got into her jugs a bit, just to throw her off: couldn't get the top-knot undone, but I got in there plenty. Yeah - I'm happy. Mishy's a tough nut and hard to stop, but I think she knows her buns caught a boot tonight!"
