Intro:
Next up tonight Emma Corrin and Kate Bock hope to kick off their Diamond Boxing Tournament campaigns with a win, this is a bit of a homecoming fight as the Canadian Kate fights in Toronto's Bells Center, can she give the crowd a feel good win or will Emma break her fans hopes?

Before the bout both women separately sat down in front of a camera to talk, first up Emma sat down on the stool in a navy blue dress, looking serious as she looks into the camera, she says "it's an honour that I have been invited to take part in this tournament, Danielle (Herrington) has told me how tough it was but also how much she feels she improved from the constant hard fights, I hope I can prove myself to the world in this event" sitting up straight, looking prim and proper as the woman who played Diana in the Crown seems to have kept some of the manners from there.

"I have been studying Kate's fights, she certainly begins a lot of gusto to her bouts, I am not too worried though as I believe I will outbox her, this tournament is a marathon, not a sprint, so if Kate wants to throw her all at me, she will get a rude awakening" adds Emma, she then leaves the set with a nod to the camera.

Kate meanwhile sits wearing a white tank top along with blue denim jeans, she looks excited as she waves to the camera, saying "God to fight in my home country to kick off this affair has me buzzing, I have goosebumps up my arms as I know how important this tournament is for my career, I will bring the title back for all you wonderful fans" beaming as she speaks.

"Don't think I have forgotten you Emma, I'll give you credit that you are truly a tough fighter, you've shown you can box rings around some great fighters, problem you have is can you really block out all my fans wanting to see you out cold? Can you really keep me off you when my adrenaline is running wild, my eyes are focused on you and you realise you are in a fight? I will beat you down honey" says Kate as she pushes off the stool, hands on her hips as she stares right down the camera, looking ready for a war.

Fight night, first through the curtain comes Emma to mostly boos, she takes a deep breath before walking down the aisle, her coach Jeri Ryan telling her to ignore the crowd, Emma steps into the ring wearing a navy blue sports bra, matching gloves and boots, navy blue trunks with her surname in silver letters, her hair tied into a ponytail, she shadow boxes to keep focused.

Suddenly the crowd roars as Kate steps through the curtain, smiling to her fans as she bows to them, jogging down the aisle with her coach, Kate is cupping her ears as she stands at the top of the ring steps, taking in the love from the crowd, once in the ring she nods to her coach that she is ready, she is wearing a red sports bra with white trim, matching trunks and shoes, white gloves with red thumbs, her hair tied into a ponytail as she eyes up her opponent across the ring.

Jogging to the center of the ring, Kate looks down on Emma, who stands hands on hips with her eyes locked with her taller opponent, showing no fear as the referee finishes their instructions, they respectfully touch up gloves before returning to their corners, the bell then rings to start 10 rounds of welterweight action.

Round 1:
Up on their toes boxing around the ring, Kate looking to enforce her reach advantage early by doubling up her jab, Emma moving her upper body as it's an early chess match, the fighters coaches yelling advice as they start to slow pound in more stiffer punches to create openings for their rights.

Emma rushes in a little too quickly with a left cross, Kate sidesteps before hammering in a counter right across the cheek of the English fighter, turning her head before driving her back with a clean one-two combo into her face, the crowd roaring as Bock is pounding in her punches to the cheeks of Corrin, forcing her to the outside part of the ring.

While Emma is showing some of her skills to slip punches then whack away on the inside, it's Kate with the support of her fans landing the better volume of punches, keeping Emma mostly aimed at the ropes, a double jab/straight combo lands flush to snap back the head of Emma to a loud cheer.

Maybe the atmosphere is effecting Emma as she shells up more, letting Bock have more freedom to work, Jeri not looking pleased at all as Emma finds herself knocked into a neutral corner, needing to try to fight her way out of it in the dying seconds of the round, at the bell Kate raises her arms in the air as her fans chant her name, Jeri telling Emma to ignore what is going on around her.

Round 2:
Emma seems to take notice of Jeri as she comes out more focused on attacking then just sitting back, soon catching Kate with an overhand right after slipping under a jab, Kate finding herself back on the ropes after taking four clean punches to her face to boos, a cheer rings out when Emma is shoved back by Kate.

The punches are definitely getting stiffer as they box it out, Kate getting a more comfortable range with stinging jabs slamming into the top of Emma's head, a missed straight leaves Kate open to a left hook to the body, then an uppercut lands cleanly enough to knock the crowd hero back a step.

It's Emma starting to come out on top of the exchanges now, Kate looking a little rattled as she is missing some big shots, getting caught back over the top by counter punches, Jeri telling Emma to push the tempo up a notch, clearly she was listening as a two punch combo to the body is followed by an overhand right to the jaw of Bock.

Corrin driving her into a corner now, Bock clinching up with her, leading to a little test of strength as Kate tries to turn them around, referee breaks them up with some effort, when they resume Kate lands a crisp one-two combo just before the bell dings to end the round, Emma looking a less tense now she seems to have gotten a round on the board.

Round 3:
Both women now doubling up their jabs, gritting their mouthpieces as they know they are in a tough fight, Kate maybe looking slightly the stronger due to keeping the action on the outside, causing a little redness to form on the cheeks of Emma, though she is being clipped with more overhand shots to test her jaw.

A missed right cross leaves Kate open to two left hooks to the body, then a straight tests her abs out, Kate landing a short left cross keeps Emma honest, with both trading in a phone booth style clash, heads nearly collide as Emma steps in with a right hook to the body that gets blocked by her opponent's arm.

Nudging back Emma, Kate creates a little space but soon gets caught again with an overhand shot, her coach yelling at her to keep watch for it, issue is Kate is being knocked onto the ropes, the beautiful model groaning as the crowd noise is slowly dying down, Emma starting to take them out of this by keeping the pressure on her opponent.

Who clings onto her, a little dirty boxing by Kate with a few rabbit punches to the back of Emma's head actually gets a loud cheer, referee not so pleased when they tell her off, back goes the fighters toe to toe in the dying moments of the round, at the bell Kate has to be told to not let her emotions get the better of her, Emma on the other hand looks relaxed now after a slow start to the fight.

Round 4:
Back out they come looking very determined to grab this fight by the horns and take control of it, Emma starting to step in more with her punches, sending some beads of sweat off the head of Kate, while Kate is catching her with more cross punches in response.

Emma throws a straight that misses as Kate leans out the way, then pounds one into the nose of Emma, a left cross follows to turn the actresses head as Kate is slowly getting the crowd back on their feet, another two punches catch Emma flush into her face to snap her head back as Kate drives her towards the ropes.

Where Emma is being forced into heated exchanges, Kate starting to show a bit of her muscle, planting her feet to generate more power through her punches, Emma covering up more tightly as sweat is starting to be knocked off her head, Kate almost grinning as the crowd chants her name.

Final twenty seconds of the round sees Emma time a nice counter attack by deflecting a straight, hammering in one of her own under the chin of Kate, then a left hook turns the head of Bock, back to the center they go as Corrin closes in tight with a well drilled body attack till the round ends, they lock eyes in a hard stare for a moment before heading to their corners, showing they are not afraid of their opponent.

Round 5:
Going more toe to toe to start as they look to make their opponent respect them, it looks a mistake for Emma as she gets knocked back a few steps by the harder hitting Kate, a small cut opening on the bridge of her nose as Kate looks in a cruel mood.

But maybe Emma was baiting her in, she dips under a right hook to land a left hook to the body, then an uppercut, Kate being knocked back by another two hard shots across her face as Emma begins to show some power of her own, with Kate needing to shove her away again.

Emma though isn't backing off so easily, keeping on the front foot as she is starting to land more on the chin of Kate with pinpoint straight punches, now it's Bock looking a little unsure, being more defensive as she fires out single punches, boos ring out when Corrin gives Bock a taste of her own medicine with a shove onto the ropes.

Late in the round Kate catches Emma with a jab on the cut nose, giving her more confidence to come firing back, another heated exchange finishes the round as they both slug each other to the face, at the bell they storm back to their corners, getting frustrated they haven't dealt with each other yet in a gruelling back and forth clash so far.

Round 6:
Both fighters coming out their corners quickly as they look to push the other back, Emma digging in two hard shots to the abs of Kate to make her groan out, a left cross catches Emma on the side of her head to make her back off as a straight just misses her cut nose to the relief of Jeri.

Again Emma tries to dip down to slam away at the abs of her opponent, instead a right cross catches her across the top of her head, with Emma backing off again, THIS TIME KATE FOLLOWS WITH A RIGHT CROSS THEN AN UPPERCUT KNOCKS EMMA ONTO HER BACKSIDE!

The crowd going nuts as Kate pumps her right fist into the air while jogging to the neutral corner, 1...2....3... Emma shaking her head to clear the cobwebs, 4...5... Pushing to her right knee, left foot planted, 6....7...8.. Emma beats the count, tapping her cheeks to make sure she is fully awake, she raises her gloves ready for more.

Back at it they go with Kate looking to end things now, Emma smartly hanging on when she gets a chance, slowing things down as Kate is gritting her mouthpiece, chomping at the bit to finish off her opponent, Emma able to keep Kate off the gas pedal till the bell rings, Kate thuds her gloves together as she can't hide that she is pissed off not ending things already, Emma getting cleaned up as Jeri checks she is OK, getting a nod that reassures her.

Round 7:
Back out comes Kate looking to push Emma, emotions getting to her though as she is swinging more then aiming, Emma dancing out of trouble, landing several good counters to knock back the crowd favourite, Kate misses with a left hook, EMMA LANDING AN UPPERCUT TO KNOCK BACK KATE, A LEFT HOOK FOLLOWED BY A RIGHT ON THE JAW SENDS KATE STUMBLING TO HER BACK!

Boos rain down as Emma stares down hard at Kate, referee needing to nudge her away as tempers seem to be rising, 1...2...3....4.. Kate rolling to her front looking dazed, 5...6...7... She pushes to her knees looking at the referee, 8...9.. Beating the count with a slight wobble, she nods when asked if she is OK, referee lets her fight on.

Back at it they go but it becomes clear Kate is still shaken up, an overhand right sends her stumbling into the ropes, where Emma starts pounding away across her face, THE REFEREE HAS SEEN ENOUGH! JUMPING IN TO STOP THE FIGHT AS THEY JUDGE THAT SHE IS CAN'T DEFEND HERSELF!

Winner Emma Corrin TKO Round 7

After:
Kate asks the referee "what happened?" As they lean on the ropes, looking confused about the situation, with her coach needing to come to lead her back to her corner, the crowd are silent as they are stunned by what they've seen, thinking Kate was going to win this fight, instead seeing her shook up.

The winner gets a hug from Jeri, with Emma grinning as she looks up at the heavens, thanking her lucky stars that she was able to overcome Kate, Jeri telling her "one down, just a few to go" winking at Emma, who smiles as she nods back, with Emma getting cleaned up.

In the opposite corner Kate comes around wiping tears away, embarrassed by this defeat in front of her fans, her coach needing to console her as they chat, Kate admitting she got overwhelmed by the situation, shaking her head as she looks to the heavens.

The fighters step to the center of the ring, with Emma patting Kate on her back and tells her she was a hell of an opponent, Kate nods her thanks before raising Emma's left hand in the air, the crowd applauding Emma as she looks to have gotten Kate's seal of approval, though Kate makes sure to tell Emma "next time I'll knock you out babe" with both shaking hands on the matter.

Out the ring steps Kate as she walks to the back, gloves hanging over her shoulder as she tries to stay looking straight, not wanting to show any more worries, especially that she can still turn this around in the tournament, her coach leading the applause for her effort tonight.

Emma meanwhile poses for the camera's with her hands on her hips with a serious look, she isn't just in the tournament to make up the numbers, she is wanting to win this entire thing as Jeri smiles watching her, they leave the ring together with Jeri beside her telling her to keep this momentum going.
