Intro:
Second bout of the night sees a "Stranger Things" battle, as two of its stars lace up the gloves to take each other on, Millie Bobby Brown is being touted already as one of the most exciting prospects in celebrity female boxing in years, well Gabriella Pizzolo certainly wants to put a dampener on those calls, she gets her chance to do so here in Rochester, New Yorks Blue Cross Arena.

While Millie is a major star on Stranger Things, Gabriella had a minor role in the show, still both seem to have fostered a competitive rivalry judging by comments they made when the fight was signed, Millie telling journalists when asked about the bout "I wanted to fight someone from Stranger things for the fans and well Gabriella of course answered the challenge with a desperate look, she has wanted my spot on the show as the top star since she showed up as a nobody on the set, I'll happily give her fifteen minutes of fame in the ring before I knock her out."

While Gabriella would respond to that in her own interview, telling the interviewer "look Millie and me simply couldn't get along, she is stuck up to say the least but I guess when people fill your head with lies about how good you are, you tend to believe them right? I offered to spar Millie a few times when she was learning to box, this is much better as the world gets to see me put her on her ass" the dislike between them clear as a Sumners day.

Fight night, first through the curtain comes Millie with her coach Julie Benz, she heads down the aisle wearing a black satin robe with her initials in silver on the back, waving to the crowd as she looks relaxed for this fight, the robe comes off as she stands at the ring steps, revealing she is wearing a black sports bra, black trunks with her initials in silver on the waistband and eleven on the back, black shoes, silver gloves, hair in a ponytail as she steps into the ring, pacing in her corner as Julie says to just do as they have done in training.

Now here comes Gabriella, for being her debut she stares hard at the ring not looking afraid of the atmosphere, walking down the aisle wearing a blue sports bra, matching trunks, shoes and gloves, her hair in a ponytail too as her coach follows her to the ring, once inside it she yells "nowhere to hide now!" With Millie waving Gabriella to bring it on.

The referee has to stay between them as the insults start, both young women clearly wanting at each other now, coaches needing to calm them down before they get too emotional, when told to touch gloves they take a long moment to think about it, maybe wondering if their opponent will do it or not, instead both decide not to touch gloves, too much dislike here to even show respect for each other, instead both get their gumshields in and tap their gloves together, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of flyweight action.

Round 1:
Off the blocks go both fighters, keen to get stuck into each other, trading on the inside as they don't hold back on each other, crowd roaring both young women on as they bark in effort, most of their shots don't land too clean, but the ones that do definitely look to have a sting to them.

After a chaotic opening minute, Millie is nudged back by a left forearm, a right cross slamming into her cheek as Gabriella looks to muscle her back, Millie forced to box near the ropes now as Gabby is forcing the issue, the better punches now coming from Pizzolo as she is landing two clean shots to her opponents single punches.

Millie forced to cover up more as they enter the final minute of the round, Julie not impressed by her fighter judging by her head shaking, watching Gabriella bully her around the outside of the ring, at the bell the referee jumps in as Gabriella looks keen to keep on fighting, a few choice words exchanged between the fighters before they return to their stools, Julie yelling at Millie to not let her emotions get to her, Millie nods in reply as she stares intensely at her gloves.

Round 2:
If Gabriella thought she'd simply walk down Millie after the last round, she is learning quickly that won't be happening so easily, Millie looking to box her opponent now as she is up on her toes picking her shots as she moves around Gabriella, who is a little flat footed as she came out her corner, giving Millie time to snap her head back with clean shots.

Getting on her own toes now as they box around the ring, Gabriella starts to work her way back into the round as the fighters exchange combos, both their defences still need a little work in the heat of battle, as Pizzolo looks to be getting comfortable, a missed jab leads to a left hook landing under her ribs, followed by a short left cross onto her jaw.

Now it's Gabriella's turn to need to box off the ropes, she is trying to be proactive in getting off them, but Millie is gauging the range nicely, moving back when Gabby swings in a hook that finds air, then peppering the cheeks of her older opponent two or three punches to force Gabriella back behind her guard, at the bell Millie marches back to her corner to Julie telling her how much better that was from her, Gabriella taking a breath to keep her cool as now she's experienced the other side of being bullied in the ring.

Round 3:
Now both are starting to look like boxers then simple brawlers, trading stiff jabs as they circle, Millie again looks the crisper puncher when she opens up with combos, though Gabriella is landing some nice cross punches when Millie leaves her guard a little low, little rookie mistakes by both but they are certainly game and look talented.

A missed straight by Gabby leaves her open to a short left hook into her ribs, then an uppercut snaps her head back, Millie crowds Gabriella onto the ropes, barking out in effort as she works away, though she is too close to really load up on her shots, along with allowing Pizzolo to get a good clinch on her, referee breaks them apart so they can fight on after some forehead grinding between them.

Millie is looking the more slick with her punching from her training, still Gabriella keeps catching her with good single shots, keeping Brown honest as they fight, Millie though lands another good counter in the dying moments of the round after dipping under a left cross and landing an overhand right to the cheek of Gabriella, the round comes to a close with a annoyed look on Pizzolo's face as she isn't enjoying being on the back foot.

Round 4:
Out they come trading more combos now as the exchanges heat up, Millie starting off the quicker of the pair as she is dipping down more to dodge and counter, a feint by Gabriella baits Millie into a straight that snaps her head back, a left cross following as Brown's right hand dips down and leaves her open.

Millie crouches down to go to the body again, this time a short left cross catches her across her face, a straight knocks her onto her heels as Gabriella applies pressure now, A WILD SWING WITH HER RIGHT BY MILLIE LEAVES HER OPEN TO A RIGHT HOOK THAT SENDS HER TO HER BACK!

That certainly wasn't in the script for the Lookout! Crew as Julie yells at Millie, Gabriella screams at Millie "I told you bytch! You ain't better then me!" Arms up in the air as the referee has to nudge the excited youngster to the neutral corner, 1...2...3.. Millie turns to all fours shaking her head, 4.....5....6.. Getting to her right foot as her left knee is still on the canvas, Millie watches the count with her gumshield showing as she looks to be biting it in frustration, 7...8.. Beating the count, Millie raises her fists and nods she can fight on.

The referee tells them to resume with around thirty seconds to go, Gabriella looks furious she didn't end the fight there and then, coming in swinging herself, Millie dips under a right and there's a clash of heads, referee checks them over before waving them back together, both fighters go toe to toe in the dying moments, at the bell the referee has to nudge them apart as the crowd roars, loving the intensify of these two rookies as their coaches need to lead them back to their corners, Millie shaking her head furious at being put down, Julie tells her to cool off as she puts her hands on the shoulders of her protégé, telling her what to do as Millie nods along, Gabriella meanwhile is tapping her toes looking anxious to get back at her.

Round 5:
Out comes Gabriella wanting to take off the head of Millie, issue is Millie looks to have her legs firmly under her, a missed right hook leads to a right being harpooned into the stomach of Gabriella, who groans out as she winces, eating two cross punches to her cheeks.

While Gabby came out all guns blazing, that body shot looks to have taken some pep out of her, Millie feinting with a right, slips under a jab to hammer in a left hook to those ribs again, this time coming up with an uppercut to follow, knocking Pizzolo to her heels, MILLIE DEFINITELY WANTS TO HURT HER RIVAL, POUNDING IN HARD SHOTS AS GABBY TRIES TO MATCH HER, ANOTHER UPPERCUT LANDS FLUSH AND GABRIELLA FINDS HERSELF ON ALL FOURS!

Millie gives Gabriella a death stare but doesn't gloat like her opponent did in the same spot, instead she heads to the neutral corner as the atmosphere is electric in the arena, 1...2...3.. Gabby tries to push herself up, 4...5...6.. Getting to her right foot, 7...8.. Her equilibrium is off though, she falls down to her right side, 9...10 that's it! She is counted out!

Winner Millie Bobby Brown KO Round 5

After:
What a dramatic fight! One prospect was on top before the other grabbed the momentum, all that matters for Millie is she came out on top, she charges back to Gabriella to mount her, gloves still on as she slaps her across her face, yelling "you'll always be in my shadow bytch!" Gabby trying to fight her off but can't.

Julie actually drags Millie off of Gabby, looking to cool her off before her fighter gets a fine for the post match beating, Millie isn't happy at first, trying to get back at Gabriella so she can make sure she gets her point, after a few words from Julie she calms down and hugs her coach, a few tears in her eyes as this had become an emotional battle for her beyond just a simple boxing match.

Gabriella is helped over to her stool by her coach, tossing her gloves down furious she lost this fight, her coach not berating her for her mistake, though you have to assume she will get a telling off for rushing in as she did that led to her downfall tonight, she starts sobbing as she looks at the canvas, cursing Millie under her breath.

Both fighters are cleaned up as the crowd whistle and applaud both young women, maybe seeing the first chapter of a long bitter rivalry tonight, Gabriella is helped out the ring by her coach, she nods to some fans ringside telling her she looked great and to keep her chin up, there's definitely potential around Pizzolo too if her talent can be harnessed.

Millie won't agree to that of course, she heads to the center of the ring, getting her left hand raised in victory as the undefeated streak continues, Millie was made to work for this one, she certainly isn't going the old broken down veterans route to grow as a fighter.

Instead she is already looking to the future, calling out a future rival it seems "hey Natalia (Dyer) how about it?" Waving her to fight, when and if that fight happens is anyone's guess right now, Millie certainly has her goals in mind on what to do in her rookie year, as she leaves the ring with Julie, will Millie live up to her billing as the best prospect in the last decade or is it too much, too soon to say that?
