Intro:
Up next is two lightweights hoping to make a mark tonight in the divisions elite by knocking each other out the way, Sophie Turner has grown into an elite fighter after years of potential, hoping to follow in her path is youngster Kaia Gerber, though of course at the expense of the English actress.

Both women posted on their social media accounts about this fight, Sophia posting on her account "this will be interesting, not normally am I the old veteran in a fight, but guess I am getting old now 😹 seriously though Kaia looks a damn good prospect, I am more then willing to give her a lesson in the school of hard knocks like I graduated from years ago, then I can focus again on becoming the lightweight champion."

While Kaia posted on her own account "it's funny that some people have told me I have potential like you Sophie, I mean I take that as an insult when I see what you've become, after all these years you still have nothing to show for your hard work, unlike you I plan on living up to my potential, when you have the genes I do then what else can you expect? #2ndgenerationgreat!"

Fight night in Rochester, New Yorks Blue Cross Arena, first through the curtain comes Sophie with her coach Virginia Madsen, she looks her usual bubbly self as she waves to the crowd on her way to the ring, even fist bumping a young fan at ringside before she steps into the ring, she is wearing a navy blue sports bra, matching trunks and shoes, black gloves, while her hair is braided, she psyches herself up by shadow boxing as Virginia tells her to show this kid what elite means.

Now here comes Kaia with her mother Cindy Crawford working her corner, they strut down the aisle side by side, Kaia looking confident judging by her smirk, she steps into the ring wearing a red sports bra with gold trim, matching trunks that says "#nextgen" in gold letters, red shoes, gold gloves, while her hair is in a ponytail, she hugs her mother before warming up.

Referee brings both fighters to the center of the ring, bouncing on their toes as they lock eyes, the referee soon finishes their instructions, with both fighters swiping their gloves with their opponent, not much respect here it seems as they jog back to their corners, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of lightweight action.

Round 1:
Up on their toes as they come out to fight, both are throwing in nice crisp jabs through the others defences, some miss though as they land counter rights to their opponent's cheeks, looking quite closely matched in the opening minute of the round, neither really able to box the other back as they test each other out.

Into the second minute with Sophie swinging in a right cross as she tries to break the deadlock, missing by inches as Kaia dances back in time, then lands a double jab followed by a straight into the face of Turner, that gets Cindy roaring in the corner for her daughter, especially as that seems to unleash the shackles from Gerber, who starts to throw in more combos.

Sophie now finding herself having to tighten her guard, blocking some combos nicely, problem is she is only really firing out single punches, not exactly enough to ward off the youngster, who pounds in a double jab to the chest of the actress to knock her back a step, at the bell it's a solid start for the stunting model, Cindy pats her on her back as she sits on her stool.

Round 2:
There's a flurry of punches from both fighters to kick off the round, now getting warmed up to the task, Sophie parries a jab to hammer one of her own into the top of Kaia's head, Sophie starting to knock back her opponent with a one-two combo smack dab into her middle of her face.

Kaia's defence maybe her weakness right now, she is taking some solid shots through her mitts to her face, Sophie controlling the mid range exchanges with her more precise punches, Kaia finding the ropes near her back as she moves side to side, trying to be more defensive.

Final fifty seconds with Sophie looking to bully Kaia to the ropes, she lands a crisp jab to the body of her opponent but a right cross smacks Sophie on her jaw, Kaia looking to have the slightly quicker fists, landing back into the face of Sophie now to force the fighting back towards the center of the ring, going toe to toe in the dying moments of the round shows how fired up they are to win this clash, eyes locked in intense stares as the bell rings, Sophie evening things up on the scorecards as they return to their stools, coaching talking to them both about what they need to fix to win this bout.

Round 3:
Both are fighting with real intensity as they plant their feet more to land hard rights, swinging through their hips to knock their opponent's head back, Kaia swings in a right cross that just misses its target, an uppercut instead knocks her to her heels as the fine margins can make the different in a fight, it shows here as Gerber gets whacked back to a neutral corner by three clean shots to her face, forcing the model to clinch up.

Broken apart and back to fighting, Kaia is looking less confident after that mistake, firing out more jabs then power shots, Sophie deflects one to bury a short left to the body of her younger foe, pressing back Kaia to the ropes after a chopping right across her cheek, maybe Turner's experience at this level showing as she is dictating the pace of the contest now.

But Gerber keeps showing her fighting spirit, coming back late in the round after leaning out the way of a right cross, she lands a counter right to the top of Sophie's head, then lands a follow up three punch straight combo to her face, causing Sophie now to shell up as Kaia starts to swing in more hooks again, problem for Kaia is she isn't breaking down Sophie's defence and the bell soon rings to end the round, Cindy needing to console her daughter after another bad round for her, let her know she can turn this around.

Round 4:
Drilling in more stiff jabs to start off, both fighters cheeks are marked up on this one, Kaia again making an early mistake though, just missing with a left cross this time, leading to a straight into her lips, which are soon cut after a left hook slices across them, cutting the bottom lip of Gerber to add to her woes.

Maybe it's the importance of this fight for Kaia or how the fight is going so far, Kaia looks tense as she falls back to boxing behind her jab, Sophie the more aggressive, knocking it aside to land one of her own into the cut lip, making Kaia whine out as she is being boxed back onto the ropes by Sophie, who is looking confident as she keeps the pressure on her younger rival.

Kaia again though shows her toughness to land some stinging punches off the ropes, with Sophie being forced into a heated exchange near the end of the round, Kaia holding onto her moments later, rabbit punching Sophie behind her head to show she still wants to win this fight, referee splits them up with a warning to Gerber to keep it clean, the round ends with Kaia shaking her head on her way to her corner, Cindy placing her hands on each shoulder of Kaia as she gives her a rallying speech, Sophie meanwhile looks calm as Virginia washes her down.

Round 5:
Cindy's speech certainly seems to have woken up Kaia somewhat as she seems to have a renewed purpose during the early exchanges, Sophie trying to turn the heat up on her with a right cross, it misses though and this time it's Sophie eating a counter left across her jaw, followed by a straight into her forehead.

Now the pressure is coming for Sophie, Kaia looks unleashed as she starts to work the body, Sophie needing to protect herself more, doing a good job not letting much get through, but it is allowing Kaia a chance of gaining confidence, with Cindy banging the ring apron as she yells her daughter on.

Sophie stabs in a stiff jab late in the round to the bloody lips of Kaia again, backing her up to the ropes again but Kaia smartly holds onto her, both toned leggy fighters grapple to the ropes, referee needed to split them up, Gerber the quickest off the draw with a crouch under a straight to hammer in a right to the body, then an overhand left smacks Sophie across her cheek just before the bell rings, much more solid work from Kaia as she jogs back to her corner, Sophie nodding to Virginia knowing she has let Kaia get some confidence back, the tenseness gone from the youngster.

Round 6:
Out comes Kaia landing more punches around the torso of Sophie, who is trying to knock her back but isn't landing as cleanly, both fighters glaring at each other as they exchange, Kaia able to crouch under a jab and comes over the top with a left to the jaw of her opponent, turning Sophie's head as the English star is put onto the back foot.

Getting more aggressive now as she has Sophie near the ropes, Kaia is landing more hooks behind her jab, Sophie soon enough needing to hold onto her as both fighters grapple for control, referee breaking them up with neither breaking their stare, Sophie comes back at Kaia as they resume, trading hard shots in close as they circle around.

A double jab catches Kaia on her lips, followed by a right cross, Sophie showing her resilience now to start coming back at her opponent, Kaia holds firm after a shove to Sophie, toe to toe they go, soon enough going head to head as they sling away to their opponent's body, at the bell they push apart with frustrated looks, crowd whistling and cheering both fighters as they march back to their corners to be patched up.

Round 7:
Back out they come with Kaia starting to show more of her skills, feinting with her left, she dances back when Sophie tries to catch her with a left cross, instead a straight lands on the nose of Turner, causing some claret to trickle out her nostrils, Kaia then lands a double jab on it to make Sophie groan out, A RIGHT HOOK THEN SENDS SOPHIE DOWN AS IT LANDS ON THE SIDE OF HER HEAD!

Cindy going wild as she yells "that's my girl!" Kaia nodding with a beaming smile to her mother, 1...2...3... Sophie pushes herself to a sitting position, shaking her head, 4...5...6... Getting to her right knee as she plants her left foot on the canvas, watching the count, 7...8... Sophie then gets to her feet, a little blood dripping onto her tits, she bangs her gloves together looking annoyed, before raising them to show she wants to fight on.

Back at it they go with Kaia going more on the front foot, Sophie though doesn't look too badly shook up, deflecting a straight aimed towards her face, Sophie lands a harpoon like right into the solar plexus of Gerber, who looks a little stunned as suddenly momentum switches with under a minute to go.

Kaia needing to hold onto Sophie as she finds herself on the ropes, crowd cheering both beautiful women on, they are broken up with Sophie boxing nicely on the back foot, Kaia gritting her mouthpiece in clear frustration that she can't whack her opponent down, the round soon comes to an end with Kaia shaking her head, even though she won the round with that knockdown, she sees Sophie is fired up on her stool as both fighters are cleaned and patched up.

Round 8:
Stepping back out to fight, Kaia looks like she wants to take off Sophie's head, not as crisp with her shots as Sophie times her coming in, soon a counter right to the body seems to take some wind out the sails of Gerber, a left hook following to the side of her head as a follow up right buries itself into her body again.

Kaia looks winded as she is forced to the ropes, still gamely trying to fight back but Sophie looks to have her second wind, deflecting a right cross, SOPHIE COUNTERS WITH A RIGHT UPPERCUT TO THE STOMACH OF KAIA! WHO GASPS BEFORE COLLAPSING TO ALL FOURS AT THE FEET OF TURNER!

Sophie walks to the neutral corner with her gloves behind her head, smiling as she takes in some deep breaths herself, 1...2...3... Kaia's gumshield is spat out as her right arm holds her stomach, 4...5...6... Panting as the wind has certainly been driven out of her, 7...8...9.. Kaia just about gets to her feet, a little wobble as she leans onto the ropes, referee checks her over, THEY WAVE THE FIGHT OFF! JUDGING THAT KAIA IS TOO HURT TO FIGHT ON!

Winner Sophie Turner TKO Round 8

After:
Kaia looks stunned by the referees decision, though she winces as she pushes off the ropes, holding her stomach as her cheeks look flush, Sophie looks a little surprised too but isn't arguing the decision as she raises her arms in the air, crowd is mixed to the finish, some cheering as others boo, though as Cindy helps her daughter back to her corner after a few choice words for the referee, they might have saved Kaia some extra punishment as she is still breathing hard and holding her stomach.

The winner returning to her corner to be met by a warm embrace from Virginia, who tells Sophie "don't let their whining tell you any different, you beat her, she was ready to drop if the fight kept on going" Sophie nodding with a smile, though she looks happy to be sitting on her stool after taking some beatings through the fight herself, her nose will certainly be sore for a few days.

In the GBS corner Cindy applies an ice pack to Kaia's body, telling her loud enough for the referee and some ringside to hear "you were robbed honey, you had her beat and that referee stopped you, why didn't they stop f**king Sophie when you had her down huh? F**king joke this result" the referee shaking their head with a bemused look for doing their job.

Once Sophie has her gloves off and had a drink, she heads over to the opposition corner, maybe to put across an olive branch on the matter as she puts out her right fist to Kaia, with a smile as she tells her "great job out there, you nearly had me there but still a few things for you to learn, still you really live up to your potential, thank you for the fight" Kaia glumly looks at her before accepting the fist bump.

Cindy isn't one bit happy, giving Sophie a push to her chest, Sophie looks shocked as Cindy yells "I don't know whether it's something against us or the FCBA still sees you as this golden child to protect but you got lucky tonight" Virginia is over to give Cindy a little shove away from her fighter, the referee stepping in to try to calm the situation down.

"You can f**k off, so can you referee, you better give Kaia a damn fair rematch Sophie!" Yells Cindy, Virginia shakes her head as she just herds Sophie away back to their corner, Cindy's cheeks burning red at the disrespect as she sees it from the Foxfire crew, Kaia telling her mom to leave it alone as she sees this ranting by Cindy won't get them anywhere.

Instead Kaia insists they leave, Cindy warns the referee "I'll be speaking to the committee about this, you shouldn't referee a pro bout ever again" Kaia almost looking embarrassed by now over this, heading to the back with her ice pack still on her stomach, Cindy assuring her she will get her a rematch if she wants it, though the real question is does Cindy hurt her daughters prospects by being so involved in her fighting career or is she helping, Kaia's record is impressive but she has struggled to really crack that elite field of fighters.

After all that drama, Sophie finally gets her left hand raised in victory, thanking the referee before the crowd as she doesn't want the referee feeling bad about this situation, she then poses for the cameras with her right arm flexed, giving it a kiss before playfully winking to the cameras.

Soon enough Sophie leaves the ring with Virginia, waving to her fans as she heads to the back, Sophie looks to be growing still with each win, getting more confident as she looks to fulfil her potential and hold a title, question is does she give Kaia a rematch or look further up the rankings for a chance to further cement her contendership status?
