Before: Shannon continuing her brutalization of boxing's Tiffany division - she enters this fight a prohibitive favourite, although not everyone's buying those odds. HBO granting Elizabeth a break after several tough, high calibre opponents, and also giving Krakowski an intriguing opportunity to snag gold. "Shannon's a flawed young fighter," says Jane in prefight, "looking at her, I don't see anything special. I really think is my best chance ever to win a championship." Elizabeth responding, "Krakowski's got a beating coming for being Theron's gatekeeper all these years. Jane's been a big part of the problem, keeping Bell and Charlize on top, always at their beck and call. I'm sweeping her out with the rest of the trash." During R1: Krakowski makes it look easy. She wraps up Shannon's right arm, pulling at it with both hands, while putting her right shoulder into Elizabeth's chest to press the brunette's back against the ropes. From there, Jane's head gets rough underneath Shannon's chin, and blonde snipes and digs at brunette body, always staying on top to smother any counters. Elizabeth gritting her teeth in frustration, can't get anything done, and at the bell - she shoves Jane off in anger as the blonde grins, bounces back to her corner taunting veteran sauce.

R2: Krakowski crouching to move back inside - Shannon dropping her right foot back and slinging left and right uppercuts discourages the crowding tactic. Jane getting clipped and rocked early, steps back outside, circles around to take another look. Action evolves: Jane trying to dip and bob her way inside - Shannon in a wide stance, leaning forward and back, picking the blonde up with slinging power shots and keeping her distance. Midway through, a glancing Elizabeth left caroms off Krakowski's forehead as the blonde bends forward - Jane's legs give a tremor and she backs away hurt. Shannon lunging into the breach, dives in on chin with a long right hand and has Jane staggering backward. A long reaching left, another long lunging right as Shannon walks Jane down with punches and KRAKOWSKI GOES DOWN! Jane sitting at the ropes, eyes wide AND SHE'S NOT GETTING UP! Stunning KO2 as Shannon Elizabeth struts the ring with hands held high - Krakowski in a sorry puddle as entourages flood the ring.

After: Krakowski choking big time and she knows it - gatekeeper mentality keeps the blonde in second place despite a terrific opening round - really a blueprint round of how to control the young champion. Shannon helping herself to Jane's dignity with a strutting walk of shame to celebrate - Krakowski subdued, badly shaken by the loss wipes at tears as she takes her medicine. "I hear Demi Moore wants one last crack at the gold," a grinning Shannon Elizabeth crows, "Well, I haven't seen Moore in a ring in years, but I'll give her the opportunity to re-prove herself. Fight my girl Jane here, win, and you get a chance to be retired by me. Krakowski humped for Theron for years, she can hump for me now." When will the madness end?
