4. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley vs Josephine Skriver

Rosie:

(34, 5’9, 16:13 FCBA, Fates Boxing)

Josephine:
(27, 5’11, 0:1 FCBA, Girls Friday)

BEFORE:
Spoiler alert, but not a good feeling to see fellow stablemate Ana Beatriz Barros getting KO’ed earlier tonight, but Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looks anything but flustered as she entered the arena earlier. The long-haired vixen pouts and blows a kiss to the cameras, her long eyelashes flashing as she struts down the ramp.

Rosie’s had her fair share of ups and downs recently, having won a match against … only to suffer a disappointing loss to fellow stablemate, Taylor Swift. Tonight, she gets another shot at glory as she faces off against Girls Friday’s Josephine Skriver in the first round.

“I’m happy to represent my stable. We’ve been underestimated for far too long. I don’t just plan on making it past Skriver tonight - I fully intend to win this tournament for my stable,” Rosie says with a wink of an eye.

She’s wearing a one-piece amber swimsuit for tonight’s contest, walking down the ramp earlier with a collection of white peacock feathers attached to her back and harness. Rosie is wearing pink gloves for this contest.

Skriver’s entrance is equally dramatic, an Angel herself walking down the ramp as she’s practised multiple times before. The Dutch girl is looking confident with every strut and turn of her head, wearing a jade-green bra and panties set with her own pearly wings attached to her back. She’s a Victoria’s Secret veteran, alright, but can she stand up to Whiteley in a proper boxing showdown?

“It’s true I haven’t had much success in the FCBA, but just take a look at my BBU career - it’ll be a mistake for Rosie to underestimate me tonight. I know everyone’s raving about Kendall’s entry into the tournament, but I plan to make it to the very top as well. Just try and stop me!” Josephine says with a flash of a smile.

Ladies square off in the middle of the ring, with Skriver’s two-inch height advantage meaning she’ll probably have a better reach later on. Rosie being seven years older makes no difference in the eyes of these fans, with both dirty blondes giving each other the stink eye as they strut back to their corners to await the bell.

Referee calls this match to order, getting the nod from both ladies before signaling for the bell. HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Lightweight action!

ROUND 1:
Rosie dusts off her inertia and speeds into the fray once the bell rings, stunning Jose with a left-right combo to the face before the Dutch model scampers and covers up. Tough words from both girls fade fast once the fists start flying, and Skriver rapidly covers up and tries to avoid Rosie’s powerful strikes. The small occasions when Skriver fires her own jabs back at Rosie’s face are met with disdain and growling frustration, with Huntington roaring back with a left-right shot to the tummy and a ringin’ hit to the side of the head of her own. Skriver simply looks outclassed here, getting pushed around the ring with no answer of her own. The night’s still young by the time the bell rings, but for now, Whiteley dominates!

ROUND 2:
Wild shot LANDS on Rosie’s face in the opening seconds of the second, with Skriver showing the same caution at first before surprising Whiteley with a sudden overhand to the face! OUCH!! Huntington growls, shaking the pain from her face, but it’s quite clear she’s wounded! Josephine presses her advantage, headhunting with lefts and rights, pushing the Fates starlet back for some revenge. Rosie defends well for the most part, suffering an opening or two with a stiff thump to her tummy, but otherwise keeps her head well protected behind her arms. Josephine walks her down, doing her best to break down the other blonde’s defences, but the two ladies end up clinched and pressed into the ropes on numerous occasions, breathing sharp breaths on shoulders before shoving any free fist into each other’s bodies. Bell rings and the two women reluctantly break apart, still breathing hard. Jose wins back her honour after the shellacking she took in the first!

ROUND 3:
And Rosie strikes back! Quite literally leaping in early and blasting a cross into Skriver’s arms, which stops the Dutch girl’s advance in its tracks! Skriver looks rattled as more punches come sailing in, hounding her to the arms before her body shakes and shudders from Rosie’s low swings. Skriver has those abs to take the punishment but even she can’t last that long from Whiteley’s attacks, Rosie earning a dull grunt and shout of pain as she ploughs another right hand into the side tummy, almost bending Jose over in half. Skriver retaliates with some catfightey but totally legal moves, surging in to wrap up with her opponent before wrestling with the blonde along the ropes, once or twice earning herself a warning from the ref as she tugs on Rosie’s hair before plugging her with a shot to her belly. Rosie is not as comfortable in close quarters action - most she can do is turn themselves over to pin Skriver to the ropes instead, and earn her some breathing room. Bell rings and it's a welcome relief indeed for the Fates starlet, who releases a growling Skriver from the ropes but before narrowly dodging an incoming swing, Skriver spouting out insults in her native language before stomping off to her corner for further reflection.

ROUND 4:
Skriver has spirit, we’ll give her that. She ain’t ranked as highly as Rosie but she sure has the stones to stand up to her. Ladies meet in the center and start swinging away from the sound of the bell, at one point swiping each other’s faces to opposite ends with a mutual barrage of hooks and squeals. Rosie takes a nasty shot to the forehead, just above the eye, and shouts out loud in pain, her eyes winced shut as she goes scrambling to the ropes for breathing space. Her head must be still throbbing as HERE COMES SKRIVER, showing no quarter as she steps in and buries a one-two combo to the stomach, more huffs followed by fists drilled into the chest as the Dutch girl goes to work!! Rosie left grunting, wilted, head still shaken and stirred as she clinches up, tries to negate the incoming damage! Arms wrapped around the chest and body means Skriver is stuck close on the ropes, snarling into Rosie’s face whenever she makes an appearance, only to try and land a punch on her nose, which is difficult to do when this turns into a wrestling match. Referee has to pull both girls apart over and over again, stop and reset the action in the middle of the match. But both ladies merely FLY into each other’s arms once again, growling with menace as they end the round with chins on each other’s shoulders.

ROUND 5:
Rosie is having none of that in-your-face brawling this time, keeping her feet loose and fists looser as she nails Skriver on the cheek with jabs from afar, punishing the Dutch girl each time she tries and rush inwards for an attack run. Rosie always stays one-step ahead (or behind), her right arm extended and forced into the chin as Skriver fails to get close without taking some damage. Both ladies are focused and breathing hard, circling towards the middle, with Skriver’s eyes narrowed and parts of her cheek turned a bright shade of pink by the end of the round. The Girls Friday star however manages to sneak in a couple of unconventional shots when convenient, an overhand haymaker catching Rosie unawares in the last minute of the fight, sending Huntington stumbling at the very end. But too late for the blonde to do anything but pout, and we’re pass the halfway mark at this point of the fight!

ROUND 6:
Skriver gestures rudely to her foe, urging Rosie to “COME ON! DO YOUR WORST!” with both fists upturned and beckoning. Rosie ain’t falling for the trick - at least, not yet - pestering Jose with jabs from afar before the occasional punt to the stomach lands clean, and makes Jose regret ever asking for more. Skriver however is glad to have her opponent once more in her sights, punishes Rosie back with a snap uppercut delivered to her chin in one all-out, crazed exchange, before burying one of her fists clean into her bra, which earns a squeal. Huntington’s turn to lose her cool, marching after Jose and intending to give her the same treatment. Blondes end up LUNGING at each other with gloves in the hair, snarling as they press and roll on top of the other along the ropes in an all-out, improvised catfight! Bell rings and the referee has to force these two apart, who can’t resist the urge to fly into one another’s arms at every opportunity!

ROUND 7:
As we head into the last quarter of the fight, however, it’s clear that both ladies are fast losing steam. Slow steps out of the corner and even heavier breaths as Rosie and Josephine circle with their fists raised high. Skriver initiating, jabbing at the arms but not taking any ground. Meanwhile, Rosie is playing it cool, arms locked and face all but hidden as she takes the pounding that seems to be increasing in intensity and frequency. Suddenly, Whitely spots an opening and takes it, SHOVES her own right hand into Josephine’s face when she wasn’t looking! Skriver was already in mid-swing when the counter-cross CONNECTS, driving her head back with a loud grunt! OH NO!! Skriver looks like she’s in trouble here! Huntington with an energetic comeback assault, rushing in and bashing more and more powerful punches into the arms and body, trying to break Jose’s shell here and now, once and for all! Skriver bleating, bent over with her back to the ropes, eyes wide with shock as her body takes stiff shots left and right. She’s slowly melting away on the ropes as Rosie catches her with a final DING across the chin, which seems to do the trick! SKRIVER CAN’T KEEP HER BALANCE, mouth open as she’s FLOORED to the canvas by the ropes!! It’s a KNOCKDOWN for Rosie Huntington-Whiteley!!

Premature celebration as Whiteley immediately leaps into the air, both hands high and a wide smile breaking across her face. She struts her way back to her corner, already anticipating the official referee’s result. Meanwhile, Skriver is doing her best to recover, making it back to a shaky knee before doing a final push upwards to her equally wobbly feet. Bad news, however, as she only makes it half the way up before collapsing back down by the ropes, her head hung on the second rope as the referee calls the rest of the match off! It’s OVER!!

Official Decision: Rosie-Huntington Whiteley defeats Josephine Skriver via KO7!

AFTER:

“Like I said - I’m heading to the very top, boys!” Rosie shrieks into the camera in the post-match, the roar of her fans at her back indicating the same, inevitable result. She’s celebrating with her fight team in her corner, embracing coaches and fellow stablemates alike.

Meanwhile, Skriver is slowly coming around by the ropes, a disappointed look on her face as she’s checked on by medics and the Girls Friday staff alike.

“Thought I had her on multiple occasions,” Skriver shakes her head to the cameras later backstage. “I hope Kendall kicks her ass in the next round,” the Dutch blonde says with a snarl, ending the interview on a bitter note.
