(Free Agent vs Free Agent)

Intro:
Now it's time for the main event of the evening here in Texas's Toyota Centre, this years New Blood flyweight tournament final comes down to Camren Bicondova and Meg Donnelly, only one will lift the trophy!

Camren is 19 years old; she stands 5'2 and she holds an unbeaten record of 1 win, that is by knockout over Laura Marano earlier tonight.

Meg is 18 years old; she stands 5'3 and holds a record of 1 win, that was by knockout against Noah Cyrus earlier tonight, with 1 defeat.

Lucy Liu went into both fighters locker room as they build up to the tournament final, with Lucy heading into Camren's locker room first.

Camren is getting warmed up by stretching, stopping as she sees Lucy to go over to chat with her, while her coach Reese Witherspoon waves to Liu.

When asked how she is feeling; Camren answers "I'm still buzzing after beating Laura, she was tough to keep away but Reese's advice helped me so much, hopefully it works again"

Then she is asked about Meg; she replies "I didn't get to watch the fight but I heard she dismantled Noah, I'll admit that gives me nerves, Reese has kept me calm so I'm looking forwards to getting in that ring to take home the trophy"

Lucy then heads into Meg's locker room as the youngster is shadow boxing, her coach Kat Graham points at her and says "that's what a champ looks like"

Meg stops to head over to Lucy, telling her "Camren better be ready as I feel so great right now, I felt sorry for Noah after our fight, this is a massive goal for me and Camren isn't stopping that"

Lucy then asks about what Meg plans to do to stop her opponent, she answers "you've seen what I can do, I'll be coming hard to finish her, dimple as that"

Fighting time; the New Blood trophy sits on a podium at the bottom of the ramp with the names of past winners Chloe Moretz and Abigail Breslin.

Out comes Camren with Reese beside her, she heads down the aisle with a smile, nodding at the trophy as Reese tells her "earn it babe"

She is wearing a black sports bra with silver trim, black trunks with silver claw marks down the left leg, black shoes, silver gloves, while her curl brunette hair is looking it's usual self.

Getting into the ring; she jogs over to her corner to warm up, getting deeply serious as this means the world to her as she punches Reese's hands like punch pads.

Meg comes out with Kat behind her, she stares down the aisle at the trophy, getting told off Kat "bring that home!" Pointing at the trophy as they head past it.

She is wearing an emerald green sports bra, black and green striped trunks, black gloves and green shoes, while her blonde hair is in a ponytail.

After stepping into the ring; Meg stares over at Camren, she doesn't look in the mood to give her opponent at easy time as she heads to her corner, warming up with Kat giving her a rallying speech.

The fighters come to the center of the ring, they get right into the others face, eyes locked as the crowd can feel the tension between these two.

When they are told to touch gloves, they do so with a slap of leather ringing out, then returning to their corners ready to start 10 rounds of flyweight action.

Round 1:
At the bell both circle early on trading jabs, nerves are on show as they look for openings to attack, with their eyes locked in an intense stare.

Meg looks to be the one to ramp up the pace of the action, stepping forwards with a double jab/straight combo that knocks her opponent's head back.

When she looks to land another combo; Camren slips under a right to counter with a right to the body, just missing with an overhand left as Meg leans out the way.

As they trade; Camren looks more comfortable as she is slipping punches to counter with shots to the body of the blonde.

Who tries to land more power shots but that opens her up to more cleaner shots, Meg getting yelled at by Kat to settle down as her frustration is showing itself.

The bell rings with Camren getting a thumbs up for a great finish to the round, across the ring Kat yells at Meg to keep her head, letting her emotions get the better of her.

Round 2:
This time both fighters coming out with more fire in their bellies it seems, Camren like her first fight is looking great on the move, drilling her jab into the face or body of her opponent.

But Meg is able to measure her up more with her jab, landing to the top of the brunette's head as she looks to keep her in front of her.

With a jab/right cross combo giving Meg the opening she has been looking for, she starts to drive Bicondova backwards with straight shots going through her gloves.

Now it's Reese looking worried as she yells at Camren to cover up tighter, Camren needing to clinch up as she is on the ropes, making the referee step in to break them apart.

Meg doesn't let Camren get too far off the leash, forcing her opponent to trade at a more closer range, with Camren covering up more as she eats punches on her face.

The round ends with Kat yelling "that's my girl!" As Meg jogs back to her corner, while Camren nods knowing that she is going to be in a tough fight.

Round 3:
The early action sees both have success; Meg gets in the first clean shots to back up Camren, who in turn ducks a right cross to counter with two hooks to the body.

They end up trading with heads rubbing, the referee warning them to keep their heads apart as they separate.

When they next clash; Bicondova dodges a left hook, countering with a straight to the cheek, followed by a left to the nose of the blonde.

Who steps back while covering up, giving Camren the freedom to dance around her, picking her punches as Meg looks to be tensing up trying to catch the brunette out.

Instead though it is Camren dictating the action, slipping shots to come in close to land her own, Meg can only land some clean punches compared to her opponent.

The round ends with Camren nodding to Reese when she returns to her corner, both talk about how to keep this up if she is to win this fight.

Round 4:
Camren is looking more relaxed as she uses her impressive footwork to create different angles to attack from, causing her opponent to tighten her guard up as she looks for a time to strike.

But it is proven hard to time Camren; who is throwing my feints in to unsettle her fellow rookie, making Meg look like she is gritting her gumshield in frustration.

As Bicondova moves in close to work the body, Donnelly lands a right to the side of her head, then uses her left to nudge the smaller fighter back to create space for an uppercut.

That pushes the Gotham star onto her heels, where Meg keeps her as she herds her around the ring, Camren now is pinned behind her gloves as Meg starts to unleash more combinations.

As Camren tries to attack out her guard; Meg leans her head out the way before countering with a left across the face of Bicondova to turn her head.

Leading to Camren being stuck on the ropes in the final seconds of the round, the bell rings to end a strong round for Meg this time, both fighters starting to look more emotional as they return to their corners, annoyance written on their faces as neither can take definite control of this fight.

Round 5:
Both start off near the center of the ring; Camren lands good shots up the middle as she moves side to side, trying to be a hard target to hit.

Meg just misses with a left hook as Camren moves back, then she steps back in to land a double jab off the lips of the bigger fighter.

As Camren goes to slip a right cross; Meg surprises her by stepping back to open up space, WHERE SHE LANDS THE REAL UPPERCUT THAT KNOCKS CAMREN'S HEAD BACK INTO A LEFT HOOK, SENDING CAMREN TO HER SIDE!

Meg pumps her right fist in the air as she smells another quick stoppage, 1...2...3...4.. Camren shakes her head as she drags herself over to a corner, 5...6.. Using the ropes to pull herself up, 7...8... Beating the count with a shake of her head to clear it.

The referee waves for the fighters to continue; this is gut check time for Camren as Meg comes forwards, some punches find a home on the brunette's face to keep her towards the ropes as Meg looks for the killing blow.

When Meg loads up the right hook; Camren pulls her into a clinch, Meg tries to break free as the fighters grapple onto the ropes, the referee needed to pry them apart.

Meg has Camren stuck behind her gloves as she keeps the pressure on, changing targets as the seconds tick away, then the bell rings to end the round with Meg smirking, knowing this was a massive round for her.

Round 6:
Meg comes out hunting Camren around the ring, firing straight punches towards the face of her opponent as she is aiming to pin Bicondova to the ropes.

When she tries to though most of her punches are landing on the gloves of Camren, several get through to snap the head back of the brunette.

Camren does manage to duck down to land to the body, till she gets clipped around the top of her head, as Camren moves back she takes a left hook to the side of her head to knock her back.

With Meg able to knock Camren onto the ropes, where she lands a three punch combo that forces Camren to clinch up to stop the assault, the referee needed to break them apart.

Meg is straight on the front foot; pinning Camren behind her guard as she hunts her down, missing with the power punches though.

The round ends with Meg getting a nod from Kat, who looks proud of her fighter, while across the ring Camren gets washed down by Reese, her cheeks are puffy as she gets told off her coach to keep digging in.

Round 7:
Again Meg comes out looking to knock Camren backwards, but the brunette is moving around her, boxing more on the back foot as Meg is taking punches off her nose.

A missed right hook leaves Meg open to a right that smacks across her nose, the blonde yelps out as she steps back, it's revealed that blood is running from Donnelly's nose.

Something that Bicondova is targeting; dodging punches from Meg to counter with her own targeting that nose, making Meg grimace as she retreats back.

Camren suddenly looks forwards to trading with Meg, they let their hands go as Meg wants to keep her control over her opponent, instead though as she gets clipped over the nose to make Donnelly cry out.

Ending up with Meg being pinned onto the ropes, she covers up as Camren switches to the body, landing hooks into the sides of the blonde to make her gasp out.

The round ends with both fighters breathing harder, blood runs from down the nose of Meg to make it harder for her to breath, her coaching team needing to patch her up.

Across the ring Camren gets massaged by her team as well as her cheeks worked on, Reese telling her to grab this moment.

Round 8:
The fighters circle early on as Meg looks to measure up Camren, not as keen to try to walk down the smaller fighter, she is trying to protect her nose more.

Meg swings a left cross that Camren slips, countering with a right that smacks the nose of Meg, WHO CRIES OUT AND RETREATS, PUNCHES LAND ON HER FACE TO PUT MEG DOWN TO HER KNEES HOLDING HER NOSE!

Reese is yelling her joy as Camren lifts her bloody gloves up in the air, 1...2...3....4.. Meg can be heard sobbing as she holds her gloves to her face, 5...6...7.. When she moves her gloves her bloody nose is flowing onto her jugs, 8...9...10 her nose might be as broken as her spirits as she is counted out!

Winner Camren Bicondova KO Round 8

After:
Standing looking in disbelief; Camren is the new New Blood flyweight tournament winner, Reese has to knock her out of her shock with a tight hug.

While the ringside doctor is in quickly to check on Meg, who looked so strong in the middle rounds that it looked like she'd close the show out, instead she is kneeling down in defeat.

The blood from her nose is stopped; Meg is ordered out the ring by the doctors so they can check her nose more thoroughly.

Before she leaves Camren rushes over to check on her, almost apologizing for possibly breaking her nose, Meg nods her thanks but is fighting back tears as she steps out the ring.

Kat following her behind telling her "I'll be with you all the way babe" looking concerned for the woman she has been working with, definitely looking like a bond is forming here.

While inside the ring Camren is told to smile off Reese, she is reminded this is what she fought for when she started training for this tournament, making her finally smile as she embraces with her mentor.

Melanie Sykes and another New Blood committee member come into the ring, Mel is holding trophy as the committee member holds the tiara for the winner, who looks over with tears of joy already at seeing her prizes.

Standing at the center of the ring as her name is announced, Camren has the tiara placed on her head by Reese, then she is handed the trophy; which she holds aloft for everyone to see.

Confetti falls from the roof as Camren poses with the trophy for the cameras, hoping tonight is the start of my titles in her future.
