(Girls Friday vs Free Agent)

Intro:
Now we have a fight between two fighters hungry to climb the rankings into the elite group, Maisie Williams and Shenae Grimes step into the ring here in the Toyota Centre to do battle.

Maisie is 22 years old; she stands 5'1 and holds a record of 10 wins, all by knockout, with 5 defeats.

Shenae is 29 years old; she stands 5'3 and holds a record of 7 wins, all by knockout, with only 3 defeats.

The fighters were interviewed in the build up to the fight at their gyms by the press, Maisie was asked about the fight in the locker room in the Girls Friday gym.

"While I haven't seen much of Shenae on TV lately, I definitely know she can be dangerous in the ring from the video I've seen, the fact she spars with Jessica Lowndes helps out a ton too, I am definitely not going into this one lightly" says Maisie.

She starts to smile though as she continues "but that's what makes it exciting right? I know I have the skills to beat her, it's up to me to prove myself against her as I move forwards"

Then she finishes by standing up to open her locker, telling the press "I have big plans on both sides of the Atlantic, for now though I need to train guys" winking at them as she pulls out a set of red boxing gloves.

Across at the Lioness Club of America gym; Shenae is in the middle of a spirited sparring session with Lowndes, the two landing some stiff shots as coach Eva Mendes tells both that's time as the bell rings.

Shenae and Jessica embrace; with Jessica heard telling Shenae "your public awaits" making Shenae playfully shove her shoulder as the intensity from the sparring session is gone as quickly as it evidentially came.

The Canadian actress slips out the ring to sit on the apron, getting a drink before she tells the journalists "I take it you want my opinion on my fight? Maisie definitely has been getting a rocket up her bony ass lately right"

Shenae grins as she continues "the kid definitely has talented and she has a stable willing to push her, the problem she has is I am a lot more hungry then she is, the silver plater fighters who were trained from youth by a stable don't know what it means to scrap for a spot"

Pointing around herself as she speaks "I wouldn't have this gig sparring with Jessica if it wasn't partly her putting a good word in and the fact I have to prove my worth every time I step into that ring to work, so I have no worries about facing Maisie, her stable should be worried if I break her spirit when I'm done"

Fight night; out comes Maisie with Sophia Bush and Eva Carneiro behind her, as she heads down to the ring; Maisie gives the fans a quick wave as does her coaching team as they all look relaxed.

She is wearing a red sports bra with white trim, matching trunks, red gloves with white thumbs, red shoes and her hair is in a ponytail.

Stepping into the ring; Maisie bows to each side of the ring to the crowd, then heads to her corner so she can warm up for the test ahead.

Shenae comes out with Eva Mendes beside her, she looks relaxed as she heads down to the ring, smiling especially as she stops to bump fists with a VIP ringside, her best friend Jessica Lowndes is sitting in the front row to support her.

Grimes is wearing a silver sports bra with emerald green trim, matching trunks with "Grimes" in emerald green, green gloves and silver shoes, her hair is in a ponytail.

Getting into the ring; Shenae blows kisses to the fans as she jogs to her corner, once there her mood changes as she gets into fight mode.

The fighters come face to face at the center of the ring, squaring up as the referee stays close in case it kicks off, it looks like both have failed to intimidated the other.

When told to touch gloves they swipe them together, then return to their corners ready to start 10 rounds of flyweight.

Round 1:
At the bell both fighters start off looking to impose their style first, Maisie starts off the quicker by dodging a jab to move inside to land two body shots, then moves back out to range.

Maisie gets in several more good skirmish style attacks, getting in tight to work before she dances out the way when she takes punches to the top of her head.

When Maisie tries to move inside this time tough; Shenae catches her with a jab on her nose, a right hook follows to make the Brit step back.

Shenae looks to have gotten the range; keeping Maisie on the outside with her punches digging into the top of Maisie's head.

Maisie looks a little annoyed as she isn't having as much success, she slips in close to work the body of her taller opponent, a right knocks her back to the outside.

Late in the round as Maisie goes to move in close, Shenae lands a left cross/straight that pushes the smaller fighter towards the ropes, where she is pinned till the round ends.

Round 2:
As the action starts; Shenae looks to have the range sorted as she moves around the smaller fighter, pinning Maisie behind her gloves after landing clean shots to her face.

Maisie is looking for an angle to strike from, getting her jabs through to the body of Grimes when she dips down, Shenae counters that though by parrying a left to land one of her own across the face of Williams.

Jessica is yelling her support for Shenae as she is watching her friend pushing around the smaller fighter, Maisie needing to tighten her guard up.

With Maisie needing to dip under a straight to get in close; landing a right under the ribs, followed by an overhand left across the cheek of Grimes.

Now Maisie is starting to get her work in as she is getting to the inside, targeting the body of Shenae as she looks to push back the Canadian.

Leading to the two giving the crowd a grandstand finish to the round, when the bell rings the two nudge apart as they stare each other down.

Shenae gets a thumbs up from Lowndes, she raises her right fist in acknowledgement as she grins, while Maisie gets a pep talk from Sophia on how to get at the taller fighter.

Round 3:
The Canadian continues off strong; taking the center of the ring after a heated exchange, landing two hooks that knocks her opponent backwards.

Shenae looks to press Maisie to the ropes with two straight shots, but Maisie ducks down to dodge and come up with an uppercut to the body.

As Shenae steps back; it gives Maisie the opening to move off the ropes, where she can start sticking and moving around her opponent.

Shenae misses with a left cross when she tries to reapply control, earning a right to her body for her troubles as it's Maisie now looking the better fighter.

Her footwork is giving Shenae trouble now she isn't on the ropes, landing more cleanly with her shots on Grimes compared to the ones landing on her.

The round ends with Maisie looking a little more relaxed now she looks to be on the scoreboard, Sophia telling her "that's what we want to see" bumping fists with her.

Round 4:
As the round begins; Shenae is looking more aggressive as she comes out, catching Maisie out with a straight on her nose to knock her head back.

Maisie finding herself being moved around the outside of the ring, covering up as Shenae looks to be aiming to take her head off, shots going through the mitts of Williams to her face.

Blood can be seen running from the nose of Maisie, Shenae forces Maisie onto the ropes, where she swings hooks around the guard till she is clinched up.

After they were split apart; Shenae tries to keep on the front foot, missing with a left cross as Maisie dodges by sidestepping her, a counter straight lands to the side of Grimes head to knock sweat off it.

With Maisie using this opening to put her head down and get to work on the body of Shenae, both throw hard shots as they plant their feet.

The round comes to a close with the fighters giving the other a not so friendly look before returning to their corners, Eva telling Shenae to keep getting into the face of Williams.

Round 5:
As expected Shenae looks to get on the attack from the off, working behind a stiff jab as she aims for the bloody nose of her opponent.

Who is using her footwork to try to stay out the firing line, while Maisie counters with shots of her own when she spots chances.

Leading to Maisie slipping a straight punch to counter with an uppercut that snaps Shenae's head back, with the smaller fighter using her left shoulder to continuing bumping her backwards.

Shenae fires back to lead to a fiery exchange, one that Maisie looks to win by slipping a straight, landing an overhand left across the jaw of Shenae, followed by a right on the chin.

Momentum looks to have turned as Maisie starts to back up her opponent, making Shenae cover up as she is under a barrage of punches, several get through to test the chin of the older fighter.

Shenae again fires back as she looks to fight off the ropes, the crowd roar as they go hell for leather going into the final moments of the round.

When the bell rings Maisie lifts her right fist up as she knows this was her round, her cut woman works on her nose as it is flowing nicely down her face, while Shenae's bottom lip is busted now to give her something to think about.

Round 6:
It's Maisie looking more comfortable now, taking most of the punches from her opponent onto her gloves, moving around Shenae as she is frustrating the Canadian.

Who goes to land a right but eats a left across her chin that wobbles her, PUNCHES FOLLOW ONTO HER CHIN AS SHENAE STUMBLES BACKWARDS, A RIGHT HOOK SENDS GRIMES TO HER SIDE!

Jessica can be heard yelling at her friend to get up, 1...2...3.. Shenae rolls to her back staring up at the lights, 4...5...6... She tries to get up but slips back down to her front, 7....8... Staring at the referee as 9...10 is counted out!

Winner Maisie Williams KO Round 6

After:
Once again Maisie shows her ability to come from behind to win, she raises her fists as she smiles over to her coaching team, who are jumping for joy.

Shenae on the other hand needs to be helped up by Mendes, she looks bitterly disappointed by this defeat as she stares at the canvas, sulking back to her corner to get cleaned up.

Her mood isn't helped by Maisie yelling "f***ing come on!" As she mounts the bottom rope on her corner, proud of this accomplishment as Shenae definitely is not an easy out.

Both need cleaned up as they have blood covering their busts, once that is done they come to the center of the ring for the final announcement.

Maisie gets a loud cheer as her arm is raised; flexing her left arm for her fans as she winks at them, Shenae shakes her head as she knows another day she would have beaten Williams.

Instead she steps out the ring with Jessica waving her over, the two embrace as Jessica consoles her, Shenae then heads off to the locker room.

Maisie meanwhile chats to her crew about this win, she is looking forwards to her next fight already, mentioning that she'd love a crack at Emilia Clarke again.

As she leaves the ring though; her attention is taken by an angry Lowndes shouting "you f***ing lucky bytch!" Making Maisie turn to look at her.

"You'll see how lucky I was soon enough bytch" replies Maisie as Sophia steps in front of her to herd her up the ramp, while an irate Jessica yells for her to come back so she can show her now how lucky she was in her eyes.
