UNIFIED LIGHTWEIGHT TITLE by simguy

Very tense pre-fight sessions, photo-ops ending in altercations, entourages squaring off - the whole 9 yards. Elizabeth comes into this fight chirping about stopping Theron again, pointing to her reckless win over Jamie Luner as the kind of destruction she can bring to the champion. Charlize icily aloof, but keenly aware of the blemish on her record - pundits wonder what the plan's going to be in this difficult style match up for the champ.

Charlize in white bikini top, teal bikini bottoms, white shoes and gloves, Elizabeth in leopard print push up and panties, black shoes and gloves.

Rounds 1-2: Theron trusting her reflexes, stays outside in Elizabeth's power range, but keeps the brunette off balance with gliding lateral movement. Elizabeth can't get set to punch as she turns and turns - Charlize peppering the jab, stepping out to create space, drawing Shannon forward through 2 classy rounds of boxing.

Rounds 3-4: Theron starts to mix in the right hand, dropping it hard on a wide open Elizabeth's face as Shannon starts to gamble. Charlize pot-shotting, touching Elizabeth primarily with the jab, but stinging her repeatedly with sharp right hand counters and not sticking around to trade afterward. Result is Shannon's able to recover from hard licks to continue moving forward, but she's not able to get anything on Charlize - Theron content to score points rather than entertain the crowd. All Charlize on the cards through 4 rds.

Round 5: Elizabeth heaving in the overhand right off her left foot, overhand left off her right foot as she strides forward, catches Charlize backing straight up and nails the champ with a crashing series to get Theron ropeside. Charlize wide eyed, bell rung, immediately cycles out of trouble, running shamelessly as the crowd boos. Elizabeth stalking afterward, clearly frustrated - where's the Charlize that likes to stand and bang? Shannon cursing and taunting at the bell - Theron turns away without response, sacrificing a round to enable her legs to recover.

Round 6: Charlize strategy is to minimize actual engagement-time. She skips and dances away the first minute - no contact whatsoever as Elizabeth strides her down. Shannon able to sweep wide right hands to Charlize's sleek waistline - Theron countering with catspaw hooks and chopping right hands as she bounces on her toes - round scored a draw, but the lack of contact is gnawing at Elizabeth - Charlize dictating what happens in this fight. Crowd doesn't like it. Champ couldn't care less.

Round 7: First minute, Charlize simply runs the ring, avoiding Elizabeth like the plague and drawing more angry boos from the audience. But the tactics are effective - Shannon abandons all form in trying to reach in with her punches - Charlize can pick her up with the cuffing hook, or drop the right hand onto Elizabeth's face with impunity. Series of bull and matador rushes sees Charlize skewer her challenger then sidestep - Elizabeth growing more and more irate with each passing minute. Round to Charlize.

Round 8: HARD right hand from Charlize stuns Shannon, sends a wobble down her backside, and once again Theron is content to step out, circle and let Shannon deal with the hurt rather than piling on. Shannon just can't get the reckless, free for all melee she needs - Theron well outside, fading the big right hands, stabbing at Shannon's face with counters, and sidestepping beautifully. Shutout Charlize Theron as Elizabeth comes up cut in the mouth - Shannon shoving the champion from behind as Theron struts to her corner at the break - Theron just smiles, doesn't retaliate.

Round 9: Shannon with some early wide right hands to the trunkline draws roars from the crowd - but Charlize douses the excitement with her tireless legs, circling effortlessly, stepping in with the jab, pivoting to the side, looking to drill the right hand whenever Shannon gets too far out over her feet. At the bell, Charlize reaches in from waaay outside, insolent left hands off her thigh, batting against Elizabeth's breast to keep the brunette smoldering.

Round 10: Shannon needs the KO and she knows it. Elizabeth rocketing across the ring, swinging from her thighs as Charlize wafts back, sidesteps, pivots crisply to avoid every outrageous swing, then suddenly stoops and rifles a right hand off the brunette's taut belly - Elizabeth grimacing, suddenly gut shot - Charlize simply pivoting and moving away, refusing to take the risk to finish the fight. Shannon shakes it off, comes on like a whirlwind again and it's the same thing - Charlize masterfully giving ground, using the entire ring, then setting down on a drilling right hand to the body that stops Shannon in her tracks, and allows Theron to walk away with a little smirk. Desperate Shannon victimized for a selective punching shutout from the champion - at the bell - Charlize smug, lifting her hands and forcing eye contact - Elizabeth jumps in to pull Theron's arms down and the ref. needs to get involved. Comes back a lopsided UD10 Charlize Theron.

Classiest pure boxing display of Charlize' entire career completely undresses Shannon, angers the crowd, but preserves the title in fine form.

Theron addresses the media, "My true fans appreciate what I did to Shannon tonight. I carved her up, gave her no chance to win, and really showed that I can beat her at will anytime I decide to do so. The fans want to see me fight for my life - I understand that, and I have provided those thrills in the past, but Elizabeth had to be shown that she's competitive only when I want her to be. I love to slug, I love to trade with heavy handed punchers, but when they get cocky like Shannon, I have to remind them that they do what I allow them to do, and no more. And I have to add, that it gives me goosebumps to look so good in a main event, while Catherine Bell stunk out the joint on a deep undercard beneath me. Can you imagine there was a time when people actually thought Bell was my rival?"
