Demi back to the beach, licking her wounds and battered pride after getting carved up by Jolie--she’s also back to feasting on cuddly blondes in an attempt to build back up the intimidation factor. Unfortunately for Moore, curvy Nicole packed more than than curves in this rousing, two-way slugfest on the sand.

It’s not that Moore wasn’t impressive.. 6 shutout rounds, hard right hands that rocked Nicole repeatedly, consistent hurtful body work, a clean hook/cross combination in the 7th that put the blonde on her backside with a sun kissed look of hurt--when Demi was on, she was her old fearsome self. But signs of slippage were also clearly evident as pedestrian puncher Nicole got to Demi’s face time and again with telegraphed blockbusters just couldn’t get clear of. Both women shined up drowsy under the hot California sun, glossy from leather and in the often mindless slugging, Moore gave up body shots and chin checks which produced a crowd-pleasing knockdown in the fifth. Even as late as the 9th, when the ultra-fit Moore should have been salting this thing away. Nicole was landing hard and hurting the brunette, backing Moore into the ropes and clubbing her freely to take the heat. To her credit,. Moore closed strong, breaking Nicole down with rapid-fire combinations in the 10th and at one point, tearing away on the helpless blonde for a near stoppage although Eggert would straggle to the line. Maybe we only criticize because we expect so much of Demi, but she got a lot more fight from Eggert than most had expected.
