Before: "She's hated me ever since I came upon the scene," says a serene Charlize Theron of Cameron Diaz. "I'm used to jealousy from other girls, but I've never seen it so green. To me, this is just another fight, but I know for Cameron, beating me is her whole world. It's sad really."

Diaz non-plussed at Charlize' expert baiting. "Maybe Theron forgets I'm the highest paid female celebrity in the world? I don't care what weight she comes in at - if she can haul that fat ass into the ring, I'll kick it for her."

Rd 1: Grinning posing and feinting - girls flat footed, faking each other out midring. Girls touch each other with long jabs - Charlize leans in with a streaking right off the chin and Diaz goes crazy-legging to the ropes! Diaz feeling Theron's welterweight sock, shook up in her legs - she sets up rope-a-dope as Charlize sets up big girl. Theron taking meaty swings at her girl's flanks and arms, shoving Cam in the shoulders to reset, keeping it beefy. Diaz nice and loose, composed - she's soaking up a beating, but tying up well, grabbing Charlize head and arm, not letting Theron get a clean look at the chin.

Rd 2: Diaz gets the shutout back, not punching as hard as Theron, but prettying her up with a dancing jab this round. Cameron covering a lot of ground - Theron stalking, unable to cut off the ring - very rare that Charlize finds a girl as leggy as herself, takes some getting used to for the bigger girl. Cameron stopping to whack Theron in the flanks with sudden squalls - Diaz warned for palming in these flurries as she connects with the sides and heels of her hands. Both girls jawing at the break, taunting one another as the ref intercedes.

Rds 3-4: Systematic stuff from Charlize - she's using her size wisely, patiently, now cutting off the ring and bodying Diaz into the ropes. Cam covering up again, bending forward at the waist - Charlize giving it to her brutal in the ribs, banging those flanks, curling punches up the middle to dig out that solar plexus. Theron palming and shoving Diaz roughly in the shoulders, rejecting the clinches, then staying on the body. Diaz suffering, but avoiding shutouts with clipping little uppercuts, nibbling at chin and tits as she leans into the ropes to get room.

R5: Diaz back at midring, dazzling with her legs - she'll smoke a jab flush off Charlize' face, then let the big blonde hear it with a steady verbal blow by blow. Theron grimacing, frustrated - her jab's late, coming up short - she's getting outboxed this round. Down the stretch, Theron shows some lightweight quickness at last - stepping with a wide hook and NAILING Diaz a blunt right hand on the chin. Cameron spilling to the ropes in shock, fists stupid at her chin as THERON SAILS IN! Charlize helping herself to throbbing Diaz ribs, stabilizing the blonde with a left on the shoulder while strapping her body a free-swinging right. Cameron sobbing at the break - Theron steals the round, struts back to her corner hands held high.

Rd 6: Diaz fighting with Theron - it's crowd pleasing, bold, but Charlize' heavier mitts are moving Diaz around the ring. Corner screaming at Diaz to box, but she's gutting it out, teeth bared as she stands in front of Charlize and trades licks. Crosses and hooks - girls crouching and leaning back to make the other miss, but there's nothing cute about this hardhearted trade. Diaz sent quivering to her corner - snarls at her trainer, "Shutup. I know what I'm doing."

Rd 7: Diaz going right at her girl...and getting hammered. Theron pounding Diaz with long jabs, slamming rights, roping hooks. Svelte Diaz just not built to absorb the shock - she's belted into staggering little patterns, regaining her feet only to suffer the next salvo as Theron walks her down. Midway through, Charlize working Diaz up and under with right hands, finally puts a hook on top, then a startling left uppercut and DIAZ GOES DOWN! Cameron lifted up and dropped to her backside - she leans back on her hands in mute astonishment as Theron looms over her. Final minute all Charlize - she's pouring it on now, beating a helpless Cameron Diaz at the ropes with muscular lefts and rights to the flanks.

Rd 8: Diaz pretties Charlize up! Theron striding in to finish - and Cameron sidesteps her, spits out a few jabs, steps to the right, fakes the right hand, then brings it as Charlize overeacts - classy stuff. Diaz setting down on shots - taking risks. She'll step in off her jab, rip right/lefts to Charlize' waist, then jab on her way out. She'll bend into drifting rights, stick around on her front foot to mop up Charlize ribs the scraping hook. Theron gritting her teeth, swinging back, but finding clean connects hard to come by - Diaz just beating her to punches and getting out of Dodge in the knick.

R9: Diaz jabbing, stepping right, then fading back as Charlize jabs, loads up the right hand and CAMERON BEATS HER TO THE PUNCH! Diaz timing it perfectly, walking Charlize in, bending into a crushing right cross off the teeth and THERON IS STAGGERED! Charlize reaching to clinch - Diaz cripples her with a rolling barrage to the stomach, then rudely grabs and spins bigger girl into the ropes. DIAZ ON THE ROMP! Cameron letting her hands go in slashing arcs - connecting with the sides of her fists, slashing rights down onto Charlize' face, picking up the chin with rising lefts and THE REF STEPS IN!!! Stunning TKO9 Cameron Diaz!

After: Theron all busted up, stopped, woozy - she was BURYING Diaz on the cards when the end came. Cameron badly beaten herself, but lighting up the stadium with that million watt smile - she STRUTS over to the KruZher corner to demand her plunder. Theron groggy, distraught - Diaz guiding her around the ring with the right arm brawny around the waist, cooing in the conquered blonde's ear - oh the humanity. If this was a first step back into lightweight ranks to test the waters - Charlize finds it scalding indeed. Ginny seen hurriedly exiting the arena before anyone can sieze her and hold her responsible.
