CBAD: Kaia Gerber vs Charly Jordan(Lightweight)

BEFORE:
What’s this? Kaia Gerber barely a month out of her debut match, and here she is again, back on VIX soil, and facing off against another young debutante to the boxing world, Miss Charly Jordan.

Charly is no stranger to the cameras herself, being a social media influencer with over 2.3 million followers to her name, and counting, and all before she’s turned 20. She’s asked us to list her handle here (@charlyjordan), just in case you’re inclined to find out more about this young blonde.

“It’s an excellent opportunity for me to build my brand,” Charly says to reporters by the ring-side. She’s dressed in a red sports bra and black tights, her blonde hair tied up into two cute pigtails. “As for Kaia, I’ve definitely heard of her, yeah. I’ve seen her one fight - wasn’t that impressed though, if I’m being honest. She’s got her mummy to pull her strings, and that makes her soft by comparison.”

It’s Kaia’s second fight in the ring but her first time at the microphone, looking slightly nervous as she responds to Charly’s comments at the press table. “I had so much fun the first time round that I asked Kate and Caspian for another opportunity to get in the ring as soon as possible. Charly’s got a popular following and all, but she hasn’t taken a punch like I have. Not yet at least. I think that’ll make all the difference later in the ring.”

For Kaia, she’s wearing a black loose blouse, low-cut at the shoulders, and white fighting bikini briefs to round off a classic look, red gloves bunched together after she ties her brown hair into a ponytail in one corner of the ring. Referee calls both girls to touch gloves in the center, which they do so only after some hesitation. There goes the bell and HERE we go with ten rounds of Lightweight action!

ROUND 1:
Bad news for Kaia as she gets absolutely charged down by the newcomer in the first minute, letting out a yelp of surprise as Charly Jordan rushes in, swinging. Kaia hiding her face in her arms almost immediately, taking some stiff shots from early hooks sent flying haphazardly, with Charly herself using the rookie technique of swing-and-ask-questions-later. Majority of the round feels like an amateur catfight with Charly wailing wildly on Kaia’s arms and body for the most part, scoring plenty of points but failing to do significant damage. The bell rings and Gerber looks shell-shocked already, panting hard on the ropes as she wonders what the hell just hit her square in the face.

ROUND 2:
Kaia trying to rally from that disastrous shutout round, tries using those long legs of hers to evade Charly’s attacks this time. Jordan going back to her wild chasing, hoping for lightning to strike twice, instead gets her face punched in by Kaia’s roaming jab, packing in the lips and nose over and over. Not so successful this time as Kaia gets wiser to the blonde’s antics, starts dictating the second half with her right arm constantly stuck outwards to the face, further deterrence to Charly rushing in blind. Jordan still relentless, however, crowds in and absorbs the jabs late in the round, pounds on that lean tummy before Kaia manages to get away with a grunt. Gerber still taking it by our count, in a closely-fought second round.

ROUND 3:
Girls sticking to what they know best, and this means it’s bad news for Jordan, who’s physically tiring due to her constant forays into enemy territory. Kaia takes the advantage, landing jabs on the face, with Jordan’s reflexes not up to scratch just yet as she fails to catch them in time. Jordan grunts as another jab-jab to the nose ends with a hook packed into her face, making her stop abruptly in the middle of the ring. Press on Kaia, as the supermodel slaps more leather into the body and chest before Charly finally gets the message and decides to scram. Wide round goes to Gerber at the bell, who effectively evens the score.

ROUND 4:
Charly still catching her breath, arms locked over the face, signaling to Kaia that she should try her own hand at aggression. It’s not a wise decision though, as Gerber overzealously comes inwards, firing jabs into the blonde’s arms and body but doesn’t see Charly’s counter hook comin’ till it’s too late! POW! Hell of a right hook SLAMMED into Kaia’s pretty face, the impact alone sending the tall superstar stumbling off to the right, her knees buckling as she falls down to all fours!

KNOCKDOWN indeed for the rookie as Charly flashes a big grin at the sight of her fallen adversary, throwing her arms up into the air like saying, “I f*cking told ya so!”. SHe walks back to neutral corner, waiting to see if Gerber has what it takes to make it back up in time. Kaia looking stunned by contrast, panting hard but pushing herself up one foot at a time, and finally recovers by the count of 8! This rookie fight is certainly heating up!

ROUND 5:
Charly still grinning like a madwoman behind her gloves, and it’s up to Kaia to wipe that smirk off her face. Gerber settling down, getting back into rhythm as she blocks the first wave of Charly’s jabs. Jordan doing her best to exert the same pressure, but finding it difficult to push Kaia backwards, with Gerber stubbornly snapping her own punches back into the tummy or shoved into the chin - hard, stiff blows that are doing their damage. Charly’s head gets knocked skywards by a third such snap uppercut to the jaw, and the crowds are cheering, on their feet, as Kaia pushes her back into the ropes, then continues to wail on Jordan as though that last round’s knockdown had the opposite effect of firing her up. Charly desperate, panicking, as a hard hook across the face torques her body down the ropes, and the blonde girl COLLAPSES onto her side in a drunken heap!

OUCH!! KNOCKDOWN right back goes to Kaia Gerber, who finally has her revenge! Jordan sputtering on her back, eyes dazed as she stares up at the lights. Kaia smiling, a satisfied look on her face as she trudges back to her corner to await the referee’s count. Jordan still alive though, pulling at the ropes and shaking her head as she steadies herself by the count of 8. These two ladies might be new to these parts, but BOY do they know how to smack each other around well!

ROUND 6:
Girls with one knockdown apiece and the hits look like they’re gonna continue coming! Kaia rushes in to mop up, slamming more jabs into the forearms then piercing the belly as she tries again and again to make Charly kiss the canvas. Jordan however moving backwards fast, avoiding the onslaught, that guard of hers still tight and not going down anytime soon. Second half of the round and Kaia’s hook is avoided with a lucky swerve to the side, one hell of a right hook immediately SLAMMED into the supermodel’s ribs, making Kaia groan as she’s folded over. Jordan feeling confident, pushes her advantage, peppers Gerber’s frame with punches and suddenly turning the tide, with Kaia forced to be the one who covers up! Round ends with Charly stealing it for her corner!

ROUND 7:
Rare enough that this rookie fight is heading into the last quarter, but both ladies conveniently forget that they’re tired, aching, choose to CHARGE forward, mutually looking to get ahead! CLASH of wills in the center of the ring as they take turns rotating heads to the side, with Kaia slapping a one-two jab-jab combo into the nose before she eats a deft glove to the cheek, and then ANOTHER one sends her head the opposite way!

Gerber in trouble, having brought the wrong weapons to this gun fight, gets thrown about in the ring by Jordan’s power as she has no choice but to back away, looking dazed! Charly marching forward, sustained jabs hounding the rookie back to oblivion - another flurry to Kaia’s body has her bent over and groaning, hugging her midsection, before the poor brunette’s head is LIFTED up into the air with an uppercut to the jawline! UGHH! Kaia Gerber goes flying back, her arms up in the air as she CRASHES face-first down to the canvas! Referee hovers over her, counting out, but Kaia isn’t making much effort to recover, just lies on her chest, sprawled and spread-eagled until the ref hits the 10-count, CALLS for the bell!

Official Decision: Charly Jordan defeats Kaia Gerber via KO7!

AFTER:
Charly Jordan defying the odds tonight by putting the more well-known Kaia away in a hard-fought fashion! The Instagram model is ecstatic, leaping into the air as she hugs her trainers and coach in corner, already dictating that she get another chance to fight in the future.

Meanwhile, Kaia’s hopes of extending her time in the ring shattered with this unfortunate wake-up call. The VIX scouting agents seated in the front row already can be seen shaking their heads in disappointment, their interest in Gerber taking a turn for the worse after tonight. But it’s not as though Kaia’s conscious enough to share the sentiment, getting turned over carefully by the medics as they try and revive the fallen supermodel’s pride.
