Before: "Call it a preemptive strike," Neve smiles in prefight. "The second Kilcher hit the canvas, I knew Brandy and I would happen. If she'd stayed on the fringes, did her thing quietly and out of the way - we wouldn't have had a problem. But if I don't move on her now - I know her - she'll play that up, especially in Canada. So here I am, weeding the garden again, making sure Ledford doesn't get out of control." Brandy relishing the spotlight again - shocking stoppage of rugged Jewel has everyone remembering Ledford's prime. "I know what you're all thinking," Brandy says, lethal eyes dancing. "You're wondering if I've still got it, or if Jewel was just one of those things. Well, that's a fair question, and to answer it, I'm going to get Neve reacquainted with defeat. I beat Jewel and Neve back to back, and this division's got a problem, I'd say. Wouldn't you?" Ledford in green bikini top; orange twist tie-side bottoms; black gloves. Neve in blue/white horizontally stripped bikini; white gloves.

During R1: Midring - Neve dismayed by a pair of sudden, jolting right hands to jaw; Ledford leading with power early, shaking Neve's legs. Campbell stunned, engages with hooks to Brandy's breadbasket: blonde pushing forward, hooks Neve's stomach in turn, then digs a pair of rigid left uppercuts to jug. Neve with a right uppercut, eats a short-chopping right to chin: she's rocked again, punched ropeside in alarm. Brandy quickly in, squaring up: left shoulder bump in Neve's chest braces her for a pumping round of lefts and rights to trunks. Campbell groaning, pitching forward into Brandy's embrace: blonde bodying her brunette against ropes, tucking an extra pair of right hands deep to gut while riding left arm round behind Neve's back - bringing in ref. Ledford kissing Neve on the right side of her neck before the break: blonde eyes blazing as Campbell grimaces. Neve moving to her right: she's shaken, looking to regroup: Brandy stalks, eyes hard, lips cruel. Series of engagements around the ring as Ledford walks Campbell down: brunette firming, punching-with as blonde moves in shoulder-to-shoulder. Neve closing the gap late, able to stand and bang as girls lean in flat-footed. Brandy fresher, getting the better of the trade: smart move to get on top and work hard with Neve hurt in the first.

R2: Right hand leads again for Brandy: Neve struck on her face, punched into a peekaboo crouch - Ledford celebrates with straight arm whacking hooks in behind Campbell's right elbow. Neve grimacing, erupting from her crouch with right uppercut/left hook: Ledford partially blocking with dukes at temples, then hacking back at close quarters. Classy stuff: both girls compact, clipping their shots - digging at belly and breasts, trying for chin when available. Close range, but not smothering: girls taking turns covering up as the other gets off robust. Healthy, thudding two-way jug-work late sees Brandy drive Neve to ropes: Campbell reaching to clinch, eats a drifting right to chin and NEVE GOES DOWN! Campbell dropped to all fours; snarling Ledford striding past, 'accidentally' raps her right knee against Neve's left temple in passing. Bleat of protest from Neve has Ledford smiling, tossing out damp blonde hair off her shoulders.

R3: Ledford quickly into Neve with multiple left jabs - edging close with left shoulder - then tidying up right uppercuts/left hooks in concert. Campbell covering up earmuff, then answering: she's hooking jug/turning over short, clouting right hands, trying to punch Ledford off. Spirited stuff - girls moving heads side to side - swiping shots onto each other with either hand in the process. Midway through, Brandy sneaks an uppercutting right into Neve's trunks, bunching Campbell up with a cry. Ledford crowding close, rotating shoulders to pump home a series of rights and lefts to breadbasket - then dipping left to reach a batting hook down in behind Neve's right elbow. Gorgeous shot warps Neve's torso: Campbell's legs give a shimmy - she's stooping forward, unable to punch. Ledford with weight still on left (front) foot picks up Neve's jugs the left uppercut, then tucks left hook to liver, DROPPING NEVE TO HER KNEES! Campbell's face twisted in gutshot agony: Ledford displaying the same Edmontonian form on that hook-shot as Neve herself.

R4: Neve grimly off her stool - getting banged up, bossed around: she surges up the middle, looking to renegotiate. Brandy fading back, anticipating Neve's pressure: clever blonde counterpunching sees Campbell walk into sneaky right hands off the front (left) foot; swiping check-hooks off the back (right) foot. Brandy turning at the ropes - circling counterclockwise: Neve hooking bouncing blonde breasts, trying to stay in touch. Brandy stops, drives in a short, pulverizing right: head swivel Neve Campbell as she's coming out of her turn - her own right hand extended. Neve's magnificent legs corkscrew - auguring her into the mat - she sprawls on her back, arms out to either side. Ledford strutting past, both hands high: crowd roaring as Neve's head lolls side to side, dark eyelashes fluttering. Neve up at 8, reeling into ropes glassy eyed and ashen faced; THE REF WAVES IT OFF! TKO4 in shocking fashion - hard punching Brandy Ledford!

After: Brandy gambling on high-octane offence early in the fight - clearly going for the KO to avoid a battle of attrition with younger beauty. "Guess we all got some answers tonight, didn't we?" Brandy purrs. "I know I can still work with elite bantams and take them out. You guys know that I'm all that I was, and maybe then some. And Neve - Neve knows she's not queen of the Great White North anymore, because Brandy's back!"
