Intro:
First time these two fought last year in January, Hilary Rhoda was able to knockout Alice Goodwin in six hard hitting rounds, will history repeat itself or can Alice remind the FCBA that she is a top fighter on her day? Well we are in London's famous York Hall to find out.

Going into this fight Hilary will be the one having more confidence due to her form, Hilary winning her last two fights, while Alice has lost her last three fights, her last win was near the end of last year when she knocked out Kelly Brook.

The fighters were interviewed in the backstage area by FCBA Network reporter Alicia Atout, first standing with Hilary, who is wearing a black tracksuit with white stripes down the sides, she shakes hands with Alicia along with a smile.

Asked for a few words on the fight, Hilary responds "well I know Alice has been wanting a go at me since I beat her, so I am giving her the chance to prove herself, I know for a fact I am better then her, over the years she has choked when she gets to the title fights, she'll crumble once I plant my fists into her face" looking relaxed as she smiles.

She then adds "once I deal with Alice I'll be supporting Hannah (Ferguson) as she knocks out Camille later this month, champagne on ice for us" laughing as she taps Alicia on her left arm, then steps away to go to her locker room to go get ready for the fight.

Alice meanwhile is wearing a black tank top that can barely hold her massive breasts, along with black yoga pants, she fist bumps Alicia as she tells her "this has been a year of waiting for a chance to knock that bimbo out, she is on my turf now and it won't be a nice vacation for her as she seems to think it is" bouncing on her toes as she looks ready to go now.

Asked about if this fight is wise when she has Charlize Theron to contend with on this months PPV, Alice answers "oh please, Charlize is going to be the cherry on top this month, first revenge then I get to knock out the shell of a legend, if I am lucky enough I might retire Charlize to show the world I'm the best contender no one is focused on... Yet" heading off to her locker room, clearly in the mood to prove herself.

Fighting time, first through the curtain comes Hilary to a mixture of boos and cheers, she has coach Taryn Terrell and cut woman Eva Carneiro behind her, she marches down the aisle with a cheeky grin on her face, looking at the ring as she seems to be ignoring the crowd for now.

Once in the ring Hilary heads over to her corner, wearing a black sports bra with white trim, matching trunks and shoes, white gloves, as her hair is tied into a ponytail, banging her gloves together as she listens to Taryn before stretching to be ready for her opponent.

Who pushes aside the curtain to a rousing cheer from her home country fans, Alice has her coach behind her as she stares into the ring, focused on seek and destroy it seems, thudding her gloves together as she wears a black sports bra, matching trunks, shoes and gloves, her hair also in a ponytail.

She climbs into the ring giving Hilary a death stare, then as she reaches her corner she raises her arms into the air as she stares into the crowd, who stand and roar for her, once she is happy knowing she is the firm favourite tonight, Alice goes through her warm up routine as she is told to keep focused, don't lose rhythm with wild swings, she nods along as she stares across the ring at her foe.

Both women come to the middle of the ring for final instructions, no words are exchanged but their expressions are ice cold as they lock eyes, tension clear when they hammer their gloves into their opponent's set for the glove touch, jogging to their corners ready to begin 10 rounds of welterweight action.

Round 1:
"Ding!" Kicking off the action near the center of the ring, Hilary clearly expecting Alice to charge her is using her jab along with moving side to side, catching her opponent to the top of her head in the opening moments, forcing Goodwin to take a step back after the smaller fighter misses with an overhand left.

Moving her head more, Alice lands a jab of her own into the chest of Hilary, stopping the mobile fighter in her spot long enough to crack her with a left cross to the cheek, followed up by a straight into her mouth as Goodwin shows off her power, pressing the talker woman onto the ropes.

First minute goes by with Hilary giving Alice a shove to create space, moving off the ropes, she is landing several good one-two combos through the mitts of her opponent, snapping her head back as Alice needs to tighten her guard up, she is so focused on bashing Rhoda into a mess.

Heading into the final minute with Alice's cheeks already marked up, she deflects a jab to pound a left into the abs of Hilary, then lands a right cross up top to turn the head of Hilary, who finds herself driven into a neutral corner by Alice, the crowd roaring their girl on as she pins Hilary behind her gloves.

At the bell Alice just about holds back, did that late charge give Alice the round or was it too tight to call, already several pundits arguing how this is going to go with the fighters back on their stools, eyes locked across the ring.

Round 2:
Doubling up her jab to pepper the face of Alice, Hilary is seeking to keep the hard hitter at bay, taking a few cuffing punches around her sides and some sneaky shots to her breasts, Hilary is starting strong though as a small cut opens on the bridge of Alice's nose.

A minute of cat and mouse sees the cat finally gets it's prey as Alice catches out Hilary with an overhand right, turning the head of the American as a left hook slams into Hilary's ribs afterwards, Alice muscling Hilary onto the ropes where she works the body.

Hilary manages to push Alice back but can't seem to get too far away from her, ending up getting caught again, this time by a left cross to the jaw as Alice sticks in closer, testing the abs of Rhoda when she can't find a clear shot up top to press back the taller woman.

Less then forty seconds to go, using her left forearm into the chest of Alice to open up space, Hilary lands a short right cross to ward off her rival, moving into space with a double jab drilling into the nose of Goodwin, Hilary looks relieved to have a moments peace just before the bell rings to end the round, a solid round for Alice as she turns back to her corner looking all business tonight.

Round 3:
Again Hilary has a clear plan to try to keep Alice back, problem is Alice is getting in closer earlier, forcing heated exchanges as both try to earn the others respect with hooks and even uppercuts flying in, not all land as the crowd is on it's feet.

Moving back a step to try to catch out Alice with a straight at range, Alice reads Hilary's movements, landing an uppercut to snap the head back of the Girls Friday fighter, THEN LANDING AN OVERHAND LEFT THAT SENDS HILARY STUMBLING TO HER BACKSIDE!

That gets the crowd chanting Goodwin's name as she jogs to the neutral corner, 1...2...3... Hilary shakes her head as she blinks, 4...5...6... Pushing up to her right knee, 7...8.. Rhoda is back up to her feet, gloves are up as the referee checks her over, giving a thumbs up she can continue.

As you'd expect when told to resume fighting Alice is on the attack right away, landing several stiff shots into the face of Hilary to hammer her onto the ropes, Rhoda grabbing Goodwin into a tight clinch, forcing the referee to step in when an annoyed Alice beats the back of Hilary with short slapping hits.

Once apart Alice keeps on the front foot, looking for a big knockout punch, getting held onto though each time she gets too close, the round soon comes to an end with Alice making a big statement this round, she sits on her stool tapping her feet, wanting at Hilary so bad.

Round 4:
It's Alice pushing the action early on now, bodying up to Hilary to work her back to the ropes, Hilary pulling Alice into a front headlock, nearly getting shoved out the ring by Alice as the referee yells before rushing in to pry them apart, Alice being warned to keep this clean.

Resuming fighting with Hilary being kept near the ropes, the American is having to fight smarter, hold when Alice gets in close, while working behind her straight punches to the chest and the face of her opponent to keep her on the outside, Alice is still landing some hard digging punches of her own, she isn't landing her power punches as clearly now though.

With a frustrated Goodwin starting to throw more looping punches, getting beaten to the punch by simply straight punches that reopen the cut on her nose, Hilary leaning out the way of an overhand left to land a counter uppercut that knocks back Alice two steps.

Boos coming from the crowd as Alice is being knocked back towards the outside part of the ring, Hilary starting to control the center as she is getting her combos going again, Alice shows her toughness to knock aside a straight to land an overhand right to the side of Hilary's head, power forwards in the final thirty seconds to knock Rhoda onto the ropes to the delight of the crowd.

At the bell Alice gives Hilary a shove to the chest, Hilary just about holding it together but both give each other a deathly stare as the crowd is begging both to ignore the referee, instead they return to their stools, it's clear the level of disdain they have for each other.

Round 5:
Here comes Alice again but this time she is sidestepped as she swings in a left cross, a counter right slams across her temple, rocking back Goodwin as suddenly the heat is being put onto her, punches smacking straight into her face to knock her backwards.

Trying to catch her opponent with a big punch, Alice is loading up too much to make it clear what she is doing, another missed hook leads to an uppercut knocking her onto the ropes, A LEFT HOOK FOLLOWED BY A RIGHT LANDS RIGHT ONTO THE CHIN OF ALICE, TIMBER!! DOWN SHE GOES EYES SHUT ONTO HER FACE!

Hilary is nudged towards the neutral corner as she yells "I thought you were supposed to be tough!" Emotions getting the better of her there, 1...2...3...4... Alice can be heard groaning, 5...6...7...8.. But she isn't moving, 9...10 she could be down for a long time, it's over!

That's win number forty for Hilary! She grins as she looks at Alice before strutting to her corner, whether she admits it or not Alice definitely gave her a big scare tonight, Hilary had to some back from being put down to knock out Alice cold.

The beaten fighter needing smelling salts to bring around, she is helped to sit up as she blinks to clear the cobwebs in her head, coach asking her questions as the ring side doctor comes in to check her over, deciding she needs to be taken to the back for more tests after such a heavy knockout.

Being helped by her coach, Alice gets a round of applause from her fans, though she must be wondering whether this was a smart risk now before such a massive PPV fight? The answer seems a resounding no unless she can turn this around with a knockout win over Charlize.

As Alice is leaving the ring, Hilary gets her gloves taken off by Taryn as Eva works on reducing a little swelling around her left around from those hammer like overhand punches she was taking, Hilary admitting to Taryn "I got a little lucky there, thank god she has a temper" winking as Taryn shakes her head grinning in reply.

Once she is ready Hilary comes to the center of the ring, where she gets her right hand raised by the referee, blowing a kiss with her left to the camera, even those who booed her are applauding her for winning this one under pressure from Alice.

Posing with her taped fists raised for the cameras along with a smile, Hilary says "you better win Hannah, I don't want to waste taking the PPV off to celebrate with you" laughing as Taryn tells her "well you are back on PPV next month, no ifs or buts" before they all leave the ring together.

Hilary herself is slowly building up her stock for a future title shot, whose next for her and will Alice one day get revenge on her? For tonight it's all about having a glass of wine by the sounds of it as Taryn and Hilary chat about tonight's celebrations with Eva looking excited.
