Before: Rohm eager to put her last outing behind her, but it doesn’t get any easier in Brenneman. Amy a big strong brunette with designs on big names down the road, talking frank about putting Liz in second place, Blonde in off white one piece, x back, Amy in royal blue one piece, hair about her shoulders. Good eye contact during staredown as both girls limber, roll their shoulders, etc.

During R1: Amy with a very erect stance, working the jab from her shoulder, hard, but low. Lis able to step either side, back of her fist presenting from her mouth and counter with straight lefts and rights. By the end of the round, she is shooting a right hand inside Brenneman’s jab, turning the brunette’s head prettily—Amy taking the punch standing straight up, gives the crowd a little buttocks wobble as she soaks up jarring right hands on her chin.

R2: Lis continues to show a little better head movement, quicker hands and feet. She punches with Amy, dipping to one side or the other of the brunette’s jab, putting two straight punches on Amy’s face, then stepping around. Lis doing a good job of keeping Amy at arm’s length—Brenneman not punching as she closes ground, gives Lis time to work. Shutout Rohm—intense concentration for the blonde.

R3: Good two-way action round as Amy initiates heavy-handed slugging and holds her own during the trade, Brenneman clinching up under the blonde’s arms, shows good leg strength, walking her girl to the ropes and holding Rohm for breaks—Amy could be busier on the inside Lis getting off late with the quick step and one-two, but Brenneman’s on board with a smile.

R4: Lis takes control with her feet, really timing the brunette, stepping in with the jab, and Amy starts to get her face spanked as she refuses to crouch. Licking rights and lefts flow straight and hard from the blonde as she circles economically and by the final minute, Brenneman is on her feels looking uncertain. Rohm shooting that right hand inside the jab, has Amy dialed in, and the big brunette goes wobbly butt again as Rohm finds her chin, spins her head with well-timed right hands at the bell.

R5: Lis has Amy staggering, locklegged, and doesn’t wait any longer. With clear blue-eyed intensity, Rohm waits for the predictable jab, shoots the right inside and shaves her fist across Amy’s waiting jaw.  No adjustments from Brenneman as her mouth pouts open—she’s pushing out the left hand by rote and another crashing right through her chin puts Brenneman on her back. Amy up woozily to her elbows at 10, but she slaps the canvas in frustration as the count passes her by, KO5 Lis Rohm.

After: Amy shaking off the knockout, stomps the ring after the announcement with hands on hips, cursing herself and refusing to shake Rohm’s hand, Lis exploiting flaws in Amy’s straight up presentation rather than making it all about strength, shows the potential that her handlers have been buzzing about.
