Before: Amber bearing a startling resemblance to Cameron Diaz out of the ring--remains to be seen if she can approximate the former pound for pound queen’s style in it. Famke a woman on a mission--feeling overlooked in the Theron lightweight sweepstakes--she’s dead set on making an example out of Amber. “I’m going to destroy this girl--not because I hate her, but because I feel I have to make an emphatic statement,” Famke explains. “I want a title shot against Charlize Theron--I can’t put it any plainer than that. I can and I will dethrone her--I feel I’m the best, strongest, big-name celebrity at the weight and it’s high time I got what I deserve.”

During R1: Spirited first minute trade--Amber determined to get respect nails Famke a pair of stern right hands in tow-to-toe swinging, Janssen gobbling without hesitation, shooting her own right hands down the middle, coming back a strapping left hook in Amber’s ribs--weight of shot eventually starts driving Valletta backwards. Second minute--Amber breathing hard through pursed lips--she’s hurt downstairs, shying away t her right at the ropes.; Famke stepping-with, leans in with a blunt right hand over Amber’s left mitt--stubbing the punch out on Valletta’s jaw and DOWN GOES AMBER! Ambs shook, wobbled and dropped by the shot--sprawling wonky at Famke’s feet and getting tragically to her knees, but she’s all done. KO1 in ruthless fashion, Famke Janssen.

After: Fame storming out, blowing the doors off her foe--full court press exactly the right strategy tonight as Valletta doesn’t have any answers. Amber lean and long like Diaz, but lacking Cameron’s slick style and educated feet--Famke simply able to slug her way to victory tonight.
