Before: Helfer 3-1 a favourite coming in—shows you how far she’s progressed in a relatively short time. Moynahan a regular sparring partner of Famke Janssen—Bridgy labeled a poor-man’s Famke for the association, showing a few of the same rigid ring looks. Cordial prefight, girls comfortable posing for pictures together, relaxed with one another’s fists just below opposition chins—professional atmosphere all around, Helfer in metallic baby blue bikini, Moynahan in metallic pink. White gloves both vixens.

During R1: Spirited jabbing, determined stepping from Bridget—she’s taking the fight to Trish, Helfer stepping out, looking things over—she walks to her right with elbows in, hands up in that gentle gullwing posture, face frowning with concentration, Tricia denying contact, legging to ropes, bouncing, gliding to free canvas: Moynahan much more deliberate with her feet, consolidating every inch before moving on—she has no hope of cutting off a ring on Tricia Helfer. Points by default to the earnest Moynahan: she’s the aggressor in a tactical first.

R2: Trish made her reads last round, goes to work this. 1.) Feints: Tricia able to step-feint, then land one-twos or hesitation right hands as Moynahan bites. 2.) Jabs: Tricia showing a variety of jab looks—the pitty pat backhanded flick; the stinging up-jab from the hip; a kind of chopping tomahawk chop designed to bat down Moynahan’s raised guard. 3.) Right hands: Tricia dropping crosses in behind the poke, just finding Bridgy’s chin, getting her used to being stroked. Shutout Helfer.

R3: Tricia putting the final piece of the puzzle in: strapping body work. Helfer’s jabs/feints gets Moyni to cover up, then Tricia licks that vicious whippy left in behind that elbow. Tricia stepping right, staying in the vicinity—she’s twisting, pulling thick right hands into Moynihan’s abs, swiping the hook home. When Bridgy leans in close, Tricia crouching-with, rotates her shoulders and rolls supple lefts and rights against Bridget’s straining tummy, Shutout Tricia Helfer: Bridgy just tilting forward, getting close…then taking like a mule.

R4; More Tricia Helfer—harder Tricia Helfer. Moynahan no longer competing outside—just covering up tight against Tricia’s jab, trying to weave it. Helfer able to step to spots, find her angle, come in off the right hand stroke away downstairs, tightening up stroke with sexy shrugging shoulder delivery as Moyni slouches in close. Trish sidestepping sinewy—hand at Moynahan’s shoulder or hip to guide her past—starting to look like a sparring session as Helfer just moves and abuses her foe around the ring. Tricia with a nice change-up delivery—tapping and brushing distraction flurries, then setting down on the slinging right hand or biting hook she really wants. Shutout Helfer—Moynahan shiny, lumpy, discouraged—taking a classy blonde beatdown through 4.

R5: That stroking hook in the gut didn’t do Bridget any good: she crumples behind her gloves, cringing, grimacing in pain—Tricia stays on her with hooks. Stroking, lashing lefts work the hip/rightside ribs behind the elbow—Tricia with the right at her chin, twisting her hips, turning her torso into these sinewy licks, Moynahan beaten sideways, woozy to ropes: eyes are glassy, mouth open—she’s quitting. A strapping gutting right/left licked sinuously across the waist draws a sobbing groan from Bridgy—she sinks sloooowly to one knee, face taut with pain as Helfer steps back. Moynahan fights it off, tells ref she’s OK, brings dukes to her cheeks. Tricia wades in, feints a hard rush, lays up and brings a slinging hesitation right over the top. CRASHING  shellacking blows lands flush on Moynahan’s left eye and BRIDGY GOES DOWN! Moynahan rolling to her back, stretched out parallel under the ropes—she’s awake, but can’t feel her legs. KO5 in clinical fashion, Tricia Helfer.

After; First round negotiations give way to steady, one-sided dictation—Trish just systematically outclassing, outworking her girl until total, flawless victory achieved. Helfer with a warm hug, words of encouragement for a rattled Moynahan in postfight—Tricia ignoring the crowd and her own model’s heritage to deny the called-for Walk of Shame. “I’d like to think I’m beyond things like the walk this point in my career,” demures Helfer in postfight. “I know Bridget had it coming and expected it, but you know—she fought bravely, she got off the canvas when she could have quit—laying her on her back’s enough for me, and it should be enough for anybody.”
